Psalms

137

1By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
1Babulon lui gei khawngah huailaiah i tu-a, ahi, i kap jela, Zion i ngaihtuahin.
2We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
2Huaia muisumte khawngah i kaihgingte i khai ua.
3For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
3Zion la khat honsaksak un, chiin, huaiah sala honpiten lasa dingin honsawl ua, honhihgentheiten lah nuamsa dingin leng honchi ngal nak uhi.
4How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land?
4Mi gam peuhah Toupa la bangchin i sa thei dia?
5If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
5Jerusalem aw, ka honmangngilh aleh, ka khut taklamin a thilsiam mangngilh sam hen.
6If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
6Kon theihgige kei aleh, ka lei ka dangtawngah belh bikbek hen; ka nopsakna pen sanga Jerusalem ka deih jawk ka leh.
7Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
7Toupa aw, Jerusalem ni jaw Edom suante tungah a selamin theigige in: a suangphum nangawn leng chimsak un, chimsak un, chite.
8O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
8Babulon tanu aw, hihmana om ding; ka tung ua na hih banga honthuk ding tuh kipakin a om ding hi.Na tanu noute honla saka, suangpa satna dia zangpa ding tuh kipak takin a om ding hi.
9Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
9Na tanu noute honla saka, suangpa satna dia zangpa ding tuh kipak takin a om ding hi.
