1

1Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
1Paula, Jesu Kris sikha, sawltak hi dinga sap, Pathian Tanchin Hoih lama khenkhiak,
2(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
2huai tuh Pathianin tuma lama laisiangthoua a jawlneitea achiamsa,
3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
3A tapa, sa lama David suana piang tungtang tanchin hoih.
4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
4Siangthouna kha lam thua misi laka thohnawnnaa Pathian Tapa thilhihtheihna toh hi dinga genkhiak thu; Jesu Kris i Toupa ngei tuh,
5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
5a min jiaka ginna nam chih laka mi gingta sak dingin, amah jiakin hehpihna leh sawltak hihna i tangta hi;
6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
6huai lakah nou leng Jesu Kris sapte na hi uhi:
7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
7Rome khua Pathian deihtak, mi siangthoua om dinga sapte tengteng kiangah: Pathian i Pa leh Toupa Jesu Kris kianga kipan hehpihna leh lemna na kiang uah om hen.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
8Khovel tengtengah na ginna thu uh a than jiakin na vek ua tungah ka kipahnathu Jesu Kris jiakin ka Pathian kiangah ka gen masa phot ahi.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
9Ka thumnate ah, tawplouin na min uh ka lou nilouhlouh hi, chih, a Tapa Tanchin Hoiha ka khaa a na ka sep gige Pathian tuh kei hontheihpihpa ahi ngala;
10Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
10Tu beka na kiang ua ka hongna dingin Pathian thuthua zin hun lemtang ka muh teitei theihna ding ngenin.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
11Na kipna ding ua kha lam thilpiak bang hiam nou ka honpiak theihna dingin nou honmuh ka ut thei mahmah ngala;
12That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
12Huai tuh na ginna uh leh ka ginnaa i kikhamuan tuah theihna dingin, ka chihna ahi.
13Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
14Grik mite leh melmakte kiangah bat ka nei a; mi pil leh mi pilloute kiangah leng.
15So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
15Huchiin, nou Rome khuaa omte kiang ah leng Tanchin Hoih gen ka ut mahmah hi.
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
16Tanchin Hoih tuh ka zahpih keia; kuapeuh a gingta phota dingin hotdamna dinga Pathian thilhihtheihna ahi ngala; atungin Juda mi adin ahi a, huan, Grik mi adingin leng a honghi nawn hi.
17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
17Huaiah tuh gin semsemna dingin, ginnain Pathian diktatna latsakin a om; Ginna jiaka midiktat tuh a hing ding, chi-a gelh bangin.
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
18Thutak diklou taka dalte Pathian limsaklouhna leh diktatlouhna tengteng tungah van akipanin Pathian hehna a hongkilangta ngala;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
19Pathianin a theihsak tak jiakin Pathian tanchin theihtheih ding tuh a lungsim uah chiangtaka theih sakin a om ngala.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
20Khovel siamtunga kipan a pianken muhtheihlouh, a tangtawn thilhihtheihna leh a Pathianna, thilsiam te achiantaka muh ahi; huaijiakin paulam ding a neikei uh;
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
21Pathian theingala Pathian bangin a pahtawi kei ua, kipahthu leng a gen sam kei uhi; thil thulimlou a ngaihtuah zota ua, a lungtang hai uh a hongmialta hi.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
22Pil kisa khemin mihai a hongsuak ua,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
23sitheilou Pathian thupina sethei mihingte leh vasate, gamsate leh bokvak ganhingte limin a suaksak uhi.
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
24Huaijiakin a sa uh zumhuaipia kibawltuah dingin a lungtang uh duhgawlna banga thilnin hih phalin Pathianin a lehngatsan hi.
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
25Pathian thutak tuh juaua tangsakin, a Bawlpa biak sangin a bawl niain a na a sem zota uhi. A Bawlpa tuh khantawna phat tuak ahi, Amen.
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
26Huai jiakin Pathianin zahhuaipia huk phalin lehlam a ngatsan ahi; a numeite nangawn un leng a omdan pianpih uh danlou banga om dingin a kibawl lamdang ngal ua;
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
27pasalten leng numei zatdan ngeina tawpsana, hukin a kienlah ua, pasal leh pasal zummoh thil hihin a om ua, a gitlouh man muh ding uh tuh a satung uah a mu uhi.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
28Huan, Pathian theih a ut louh jiak un, thil kilawmloute hih dinga a deih louhlam lungsim neih phalin Pathianin a lehngatsante;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
29Huchin diktatlouhna tengteng, gitlouhna tengteng, huaihamna tengteng, huatna tengteng khawng in, a nadim ua; hajatna te, tual thahna te, kiselna te, khemna te, nundan hoih lou tein a dim ua;
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
30gensiatna te, migenna te, Pathian huat lam te, kisaktheihna te, kisatheimite, thil gilou bawlkhete,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
31nu leh pa thu mangloute, theihna beite, thuchiam susete, itna pianpih neiloute, hehpihna neiloute ahi ua.Huchi banga hihte tuh si tak him ahi uh chih Pathian dan tuh thei gigein, amau kiaa hih leng hi louin, mi dang hih jelte tungah leng a kipak uhi.
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
32Huchi banga hihte tuh si tak him ahi uh chih Pathian dan tuh thei gigein, amau kiaa hih leng hi louin, mi dang hih jelte tungah leng a kipak uhi.
