6

1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
1Bang i genta dia leh? Hehpihna a khan sem theihna dingin khelhna ah i om nilouh ding ua hia?
2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
2Om nilouh lou hial ding. Eite khelhna lama sisa, khelhna ah bangchin i hing thei lailai dia?
3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
3Eite Kris Jesu-a baptis luta om tengteng a sihna ah baptis lutin i om chih na theikei ua hia?
4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
4Huaijiakin a sihna a baptis luta omin amah toh vuikhawmin i om uhi, huchia Pa thupinain misi laka kipana Kris a kaihthohtak banga eite leng hinna thaka i khosak theihna dingin.
5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
5A sihna ki batpih a amah toh i kizop khit ngal un tuh, a thohnawnna kibatpihin leng i kizom sam ding hi.
6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
6I mihing lui a kiangah kilhdenin a om samta chih i thei; huchia khelhna pumpi hihmanthata a om theihna ding leh tua kipana khelhna sikhaa i om louhna dingin.
7For he that is dead is freed from sin.
7Kuapeuh sisa tuh, khelhna lakah a suakta ta ngala.
8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
8Huan, Kris kianga I suh sam tak aleh, a kiangah I hing sam ding chih I gingta ahi;
9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
9Kris tuh misi laka kipan kaihthohin a oma, a si nawn kei ding chih i thei ngal ua; sihnain amah tungah thu a neita kei hi.
10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
10A sihna tuh khelhna lam thu ah khantawna din khat vei kia a si ahi, a hinna bel Pathian lam thu ah a hing ahi.
11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
11Huchi mahbangin nou leng khelhna lam thu ah sisain kisep unla, Pathian lam thu ah bel Kris Jesu ah hingin kisep un.
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
12Huaijiakin, na pumpi uh duhgawlna thu mang dingin na pumpi si thei uah khelhna vaihawm sak kei un.
13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
13Na pumpi hiangte uh leng diklouhna vanzat dingin khelhna kiangah pe phal sam kei un; a hihhangin misi laka kipan hing nawn bangin Pathian kiangah kipia unla, na pumpi hiangte uh leng dikna vanzat dingin Pathian kiangah pe phal jaw un.
14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
14Banghianghiam i chih leh, khelhnain na tunguah thu a nei takei ding, dan vaihawma om na hi kei ua, hehpihna vaihawma om na hi jaw uhi.
15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
15Bangchin ahi dia leh? Dan vaihawm a om i hih kei ua, hehpihna vaihawma om i hih jawk jiakin i khial ding uh ahi diam?
16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
16Hilou hial ding. Kua kiang peuhah leng a thu mang dinga a sikha dia na lut un tuh sihna khopa khelhna sikha hiam, dikna khopa thu mang sikha hiam, a thu na man uh sikha na hi uh chih na theikei ua hia?
17But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
17Ahihhangin, khelhna sikha nahita mahle uchin, thuginpi huaia na kipiakna uh, lungtang taktakin na juita ua, Pathian kiangah kipahthu om heh;
18Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
18Khelhna laka kipan suahtak sakin nong om ua, dikna sikhate na honghita uhi.
19I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
20Khelhna sikhate na hih lai un dikna lakah na siang ua.
21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
21Tua na thil zahpih sate uah, huai laiin gah bang ahia nanamuh jel uh?
22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
22Huai thil tawpna jaw sihna a nahi nak ahi. Tunah bel khelhna laka hihsianga omin, Pathian sikhate na honghih un, siangthouna mu khopin na gah uh na nei uh a keihiam, huai tawpna khantawna hinna toh.Khelhna man tuh sihna ahi ngala Pathian thilthawnpiak bel i Toupa Kris Jesu jiakin khantawna hinna ahi.
23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
23Khelhna man tuh sihna ahi ngala Pathian thilthawnpiak bel i Toupa Kris Jesu jiakin khantawna hinna ahi.
