¹Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

¹Să nu răspîndeşti zvonuri neadevărate. Să nu te uneşti cu cel rău, ca să faci o mărturisire mincinoasă pentru el.

²Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

²Să nu te iei după mulţime ca să faci rău; şi la judecată să nu mărturiseşti trecînd de partea celor mulţi, ca să abaţi dreptatea.

³Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

³Să nu părtineşti pe sărac la judecată.

⁴If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

⁴Dacă întîlneşti boul vrăjmaşului tău sau măgarul lui rătăcit, să i -l aduci acasă.

⁵If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

⁵Dacă vezi măgarul vrăjmaşului tău căzut subt povara lui, să nu treci pe lîngă el, ci să -i ajuţi să ia povara de pe măgar.

⁶Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

⁶La judecată, să nu te atingi de dreptul săracului.

⁷Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

⁷Fereşte-te de o învinuire nedreaptă, şi să nu omori pe cel nevinovat şi pe cel drept; căci nu voi ierta pe cel vinovat.

⁸And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

⁸Să nu primeşti daruri; căci darurile orbesc pe ceice au ochii deschişi, şi sucesc hotărîrile celor drepţi.

⁹Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

⁹Să nu asupreşti pe străin; ştiţi ce simte străinul, căci şi voi aţi fost străini în ţara Egiptului.

¹⁰And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

¹⁰Timp de şase ani, să sameni pămîntul, şi să -i strîngi rodul.

¹¹But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

¹¹Dar în al şaptelea, să -i dai răgaz, şi să -l laşi să se odihnească; din rodul lui să mănînce săracii poporului tău, iar ce va mai rămînea, să mănînce fiarele depe cîmp. Tot aşa să faci cu via şi măslinii tăi.

¹²Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

¹²Timp de şase zile, să-ţi faci lucrarea. Dar în ziua a şaptea să te odihneşti, pentru ca boul şi măgarul tău să aibă odihnă, pentruca fiul roabei tale şi străinul să aibă răgaz şi să răsufle.

¹³And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

¹³Să păziţi tot ce v'am spus, şi să nu rostiţi numele altor dumnezei: numele lor să nu se audă ieşind din gura voastră.

¹⁴Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

¹⁴De trei ori pe an, să prăznuieşti sărbători în cinstea Mea.

¹⁵Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

¹⁵Să ţii sărbătoarea azimilor; timp de şapte zile, la vremea hotărîtă, în luna spicelor, să mănînci azimi, cum ţi-am poruncit; căci în luna aceasta ai ieşit din Egipt; şi să nu vii cu mînile goale înaintea Mea.

¹⁶And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labors, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labors out of the field.

¹⁶Să ţii sărbătoarea secerişului, a celor dintîi roade din munca ta, din ceeace vei sămăna pe cîmp; şi să ţii sărbătoarea strîngerii roadelor, la sfîrşitul anului, cînd vei strînge depe cîmp rodul muncii tale.

¹⁷Three items in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God.

¹⁷De trei ori pe an toată partea bărbătească să se înfăţişeze înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeu.

¹⁸Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

¹⁸Să n'aduci cu pîne dospită sîngele jertfei Mele; şi grăsimea praznicului Meu să nu rămînă toată noaptea pînă dimineaţa.

¹⁹The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

¹⁹Să aduci în casa Domnului, Dumnezeului tău, pîrga celor dintîi roade ale pămîntului.

²⁰Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

²⁰Iată, Eu trimet un Înger înaintea ta, ca să te ocrotească pe drum, şi să te ducă în locul, pe care l-am pregătit.

²¹Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

²¹Fii cu ochii în patru înaintea Lui, şi ascultă glasul Lui; să nu te împotriveşti Lui, pentrucă nu vă va ierta păcatele, căci Numele Meu este în El.

²²But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

²²Dar dacă vei asculta glasul Lui, şi dacă vei face tot ce-ţi voi spune, Eu voi fi vrăjmaşul vrăjmaşilor tăi şi protivnicul protivnicilor tăi.

²³For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

²³Îngerul Meu va merge înaintea ta, şi te va duce la Amoriţi, Hetiţi, Fereziţi, Cananiţi, Heviţi şi Iebusiţi, şi -i voi nimici.

²⁴Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

²⁴Să nu te închini înaintea dumnezeilor lor, şi să nu le slujeşti; să nu te iei după popoarele acestea, în purtarea lor, ci să le nimiceşti cu desăvîrşire, şi să le dărîmi capiştele.

²⁵And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

²⁵Voi să slujiţi Domnului, Dumnezeului vostru, şi El vă va binecuvînta pînea şi apele, şi voi depărta boala din mijlocul tău.

²⁶There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

²⁶Nu va fi în ţara ta nici femeie care să-şi lepede copilul, nici femeie stearpă. Numărul zilelor tale îl voi face să fie deplin.

²⁷I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

²⁷Voi trimete groaza Mea înaintea ta, voi pune pe fugă pe toate popoarele la cari vei ajunge, şi voi face ca toţi vrăjmaşii tăi să dea dosul înaintea ta.

²⁸And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

²⁸Voi trimete viespile bondăreşti înaintea ta, şi vor izgoni dinaintea ta pe Heviţi, Cananiţi şi Hetiţi.

²⁹I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

²⁹Nu -i voi izgoni într'un singur an dinaintea ta, pentruca ţara să n'ajungă o pustie şi să nu se înmulţească împotriva ta fiarele de pe cîmp.

³⁰By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

³⁰Ci le voi izgoni încetul cu încetul dinaintea ta, pînă vei creşte la număr şi vei putea să intri în stăpînirea ţării.

³¹And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

³¹Îţi voi întinde hotarele dela marea Roşie pînă la marea Filistenilor, şi dela pustie pînă la Rîu (Eufrat). Căci voi da în mînile voastre pe locuitorii ţării, şi -i vei izgoni dinaintea ta.

³²Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

³²Să nu faci legămînt cu ei, nici cu dumnezeii lor.

³³They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

³³Ei să nu locuiască în ţara ta, ca să nu te facă să păcătuieşti împotriva Mea; căci atunci ai slujii dumnezeilor lor, şi aceasta ar fi o cursă pentru tine.``
