¹And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

¹Altarul să -l faci din lemn de salcîm; lungimea lui să fie de cinci coţi, şi lăţimea lui de cinci coţi. Altarul să fie în patru colţuri, şi înălţimea lui să fie de cinci coţi.

²And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

²În cele patru colţuri, să faci nişte coarne care să fie dintr'o bucată cu altarul; şi să -l acoperi cu aramă.

³And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basins, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

³Să faci pentru altar oale de scos cenuşa, lopeţi, lighene, furculiţe şi tigăi pentru cărbuni; toate uneltele lui să le faci de aramă.

⁴And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.

⁴Să faci altarului un grătar de aramă, în chip de reţea, şi să pui patru verigi de aramă la cele patru colţuri ale reţelei.

⁵And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.

⁵Grătarul să -l pui subt straşina altarului, începînd de jos, aşa că grătarul să vină pînă la jumătatea altarului.

⁶And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.

⁶Să faci apoi nişte drugi pentru altar, drugi de lemn de salcîm, şi să -i acoperi cu aramă.

⁷And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.

⁷Să vîri drugii în verigi; şi drugii să fie de amîndouă părţile altarului, cînd îl vor purta.

⁸Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

⁸Să -l faci din scînduri şi gol pe din lăuntru. Să fie făcut aşa cum ţi s'a arătat pe munte.

⁹And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:

⁹Curtea cortului s'o faci astfel. În spre partea de miazăzi, pentru alcătuirea curţii, să fie nişte pînze de in subţire răsucit, pe o lungime de o sută de coţi pentru această întîie lature,

¹⁰And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

¹⁰cu douăzeci de stîlpi, cari să stea pe douăzeci de picioare de aramă; cîrligile stîlpilor şi beţele lor de legătură, să fie de argint.

¹¹And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

¹¹Înspre partea de miază noapte să fie deasemenea nişte pînze, pe o lungime de o sută de coţi, cu douăzeci de stîlpi şi cu cele douăzeci de picioare ale lor de aramă; cîrligile stîlpilor şi beţele lor de legătură, să fie de argint.

¹²And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.

¹²În spre partea de apus, să fie pentru lăţimea curţii nişte pînze de cincizeci de coţi, cu zece stîlpi şi cele zece picioare ale lor.

¹³And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.

¹³Înspre partea de răsărit, pe lîngă cei cincizeci de coţi pentru lăţimea curţii,

¹⁴The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.

¹⁴să mai fie cincisprezece coţi de pînză pentru o aripă, cu trei stîlpi şi cele trei picioare ale lor,

¹⁵And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.

¹⁵şi cincisprezece coţi de pînză pentru a doua aripă, cu trei stîlpi şi cele trei picioare ale lor.

¹⁶And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.

¹⁶Pentru poarta curţii cortului, să fie o perdea lată de douăzeci de coţi, albastră, purpurie şi cărmizie, şi de in subţire răsucit, lucrată la gherghef, cu patru stîlpi şi cele patru picioare ale lor.

¹⁷All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of brass.

¹⁷Toţi stîlpii curţii de jur împrejur să aibă beţe de legătură de argint, cîrlige de argint, şi picioare de aramă.

¹⁸The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass.

¹⁸Lungimea curţii să fie de o sută de coţi, lăţimea de cincizeci de coţi de fiecare parte, şi înălţimea de cinci coţi; pînzele să fie de in subţire răsucit, iar picioarele să fie de aramă.

¹⁹All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.

¹⁹Toate uneltele rînduite pentru slujba cortului, toţi ţăruşii lui, şi toţi ţăruşii curţii, să fie de aramă.

²⁰And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

²⁰Să porunceşti copiilor lui Israel să-ţi aducă pentru sfeşnic untdelemn curat de măsline fără drojdii, ca să ardă în candele necurmat.

²¹In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

²¹Aaron şi fiii săi să -l pregătească în cortul întîlnirii, dincoace de perdeaua care este înaintea chivotului mărturiei, pentru ca să ardă de seara pînă dimineaţa înaintea Domnului. Aceasta este o lege vecinică pentru urmaşii lor, şi pe care copiii lui Israel vor trebui s'o ţină.
