¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

²Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

²,,Vorbeşte întregei adunări a copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le: Fiţi sfinţi, căci Eu sînt sfînt, Eu, Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

³Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

³Fiecare din voi să cinstească pe mamă-sa şi pe tatăl său, şi să păzească Sabatele Mele. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

⁴Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

⁴Să nu vă întoarceţi spre idoli, şi să nu vă faceţi dumnezei turnaţi. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

⁵And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

⁵Cînd veţi aduce Domnului o jertfă de mulţămire, s'o aduceţi aşa ca să fie primită.

⁶It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

⁶Jertfa să fie mîncată în ziua cînd o veţi jertfi, sau a doua zi; ce va mai rămînea pînă a treia zi, să se ardă în foc.

⁷And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

⁷Dacă va mînca cineva din ea a treia zi, faptul acesta va fi un lucru urît: jertfa nu va fi primită.

⁸Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

⁸Cine va mînca din ea, îşi va purta vina păcatului său, căci necinsteşte ce a fost închinat Domnului: omul acela va fi nimicit din poporul lui.

⁹And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

⁹Cînd veţi secera holdele ţării, să laşi nesecerat un colţ din cîmpul tău, şi să nu strîngi spicele rămase pe urma secerătorilor.

¹⁰And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

¹⁰Nici să nu culegi strugurii rămaşi după cules în via ta, şi să nu strîngi boabele cari vor cădea din ei. Să le laşi săracului şi străinului. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

¹¹Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

¹¹Să nu furaţi, şi să nu minţiţi, nici să nu vă înşelaţi unii pe alţii.

¹²And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

¹²Să nu juraţi strîmb pe Numele Meu, căci ai necinsti astfel Numele Dumnezeului tău. Eu sînt Domnul.

¹³Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

¹³Să nu asupreşti pe aproapele tău, şi să nu storci nimic dela el prin silă. Să nu opreşti pînă a doua zi plata celui tocmit cu ziua.

¹⁴Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling-block before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

¹⁴Să nu vorbeşti de rău pe un surd, şi să nu pui înaintea unui orb nimic care să -l poată face să cadă; ci să te temi de Dumnezeul tău. Eu sînt Domnul.

¹⁵Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.

¹⁵Să nu faceţi nedreptate la judecată: să nu cauţi la faţa săracului, şi să nu părtineşti pe nimeni din cei mari, ci să judeci pe aproapele tău după dreptate.

¹⁶Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor; I am the LORD.

¹⁶Să nu umbli cu bîrfeli în poporul tău. Să nu te ridici împotriva vieţii aproapelui tău. Eu sînt Domnul.

¹⁷Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.

¹⁷Să nu urăşti pe fratele tău în inima ta; să mustri pe aproapele tău, dar să nu te încarci cu un păcat din pricina lui.

¹⁸Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.

¹⁸Să nu te răsbuni, şi să nu ţii necaz pe copiii poporului tău. Să iubeşti pe aproapele tău ca pe tine însuţi. Eu sînt Domnul.

¹⁹Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.

¹⁹Să păziţi legile Mele. Să nu împreuni vite de două soiuri deosebite; să nu sameni în ogorul tău două feluri de seminţe; şi să nu porţi o haină ţesută din două feluri de fire.

²⁰And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

²⁰Cînd un om se va culca cu o femeie, roabă logodită cu un alt bărbat, şi ea n'a fost răscumpărată de tot sau slobozită, să fie pedepsiţi amîndoi, dar nu pedepsiţi cu moartea, pentrucă ea nu era slobodă.

²¹And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.

²¹El să aducă Domnului pentru vina lui, la uşa cortului întîlnirii, un berbece ca jertfă pentru vină.

²²And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

²²Preotul să facă ispăşire pentru el înaintea Domnului, pentru păcatul pe care l -a făcut, cu berbecele adus ca jertfă pentru vină; şi păcatul pe care l -a făcut, îi va fi iertat.

²³And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

²³Cînd veţi intra în ţară, şi veţi sădi tot felul de pomi roditori, roadele lor să le priviţi ca netăiate împrejur; timp de trei ani să fie netăiate împrejur pentru voi; să nu mîncaţi din ele.

²⁴But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.

²⁴În al patrulea an, toate roadele să fie închinate Domnului, spre lauda Lui.

²⁵And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.

²⁵În al cincilea an, să mîncaţi roadele, ca ele să vi se înmulţească din ce în ce mai mult: Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

²⁶Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

²⁶Să nu mîncaţi nimic cu sînge. Să nu ghiciţi după vîrcolaci, nici după nori.

²⁷Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

²⁷Să nu vă tăiaţi rotund colţurile părului, şi să nu-ţi razi colţurile bărbii.

²⁸Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

²⁸Să nu vă faceţi tăieturi în carne pentru un mort, şi să nu vă faceţi slove săpate pe voi. Eu sînt Domnul.

²⁹Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

²⁹Să nu-ţi necinsteşti fata, dînd -o să fie curvă, pentruca nu cumva ţara să ajungă un loc de curvie, şi să se umple de fărădelegi.

³⁰Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

³⁰Să păziţi Sabatele Mele, şi să cinstiţi locaşul Meu cel sfînt. Eu sînt Domnul.

³¹Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

³¹Să nu vă duceţi la ceice cheamă duhurile morţilor, nici la vrăjitori: să nu -i întrebaţi, ca să nu vă spurcaţi cu ei. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

³²Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

³²Să te scoli înaintea perilor albi, şi să cinsteşti pe bătrîn. Să te temi de Dumnezeul tău. Eu sînt Domnul.

³³And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

³³Dacă un străin vine să locuiască împreună cu voi în ţara voastră, să nu -l asupriţi.

³⁴But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

³⁴Să vă purtaţi cu străinul care locuieşte între voi ca şi cu un băştinaş din mijlocul vostru; să -l iubiţi ca pe voi înşivă, căci şi voi aţi fost străini în ţara Egiptului. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

³⁵Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

³⁵Să nu faceţi nedreptate la judecată, nici în măsurile de lungime, nici în greutăţi, nici în măsurile de încăpere.

³⁶Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

³⁶Să aveţi cumpene drepte, greutăţi drepte, efe drepte, şi hine drepte. Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, care v'am scos din ţara Egiptului.

³⁷Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

³⁷Să păziţi toate legile Mele şi toate poruncile Mele, şi să le împliniţi. Eu sînt Domnul.``
