¹And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

¹În ziua a opta, Moise a chemat pe Aaron şi pe fiii lui, şi pe bătrînii lui Israel.

²And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

²Şi a zis lui Aaron: ,,Ia un viţel pentru jertfa de ispăşire, şi un berbece pentru arderea de tot, amîndoi fără cusur, şi adu -i înaintea Domnului.

³And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

³Să vorbeşti copiilor lui Israel, şi să le spui: ,Luaţi un ţap, pentru jertfa de ispăşire, un viţel şi un miel de un an şi fără cusur, pentru arderea de tot;

⁴Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.

⁴un taur şi un berbece, pentru jertfa de mulţămire, ca să -i jertfiţi înaintea Domnului, şi un dar de mîncare, frămîntat cu untdelemn. Căci azi vi se va arăta Domnul.``

⁵And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

⁵Ei au adus înaintea cortului întîlnirii tot ce poruncise Moise; şi toată adunarea s'a apropiat, şi a stătut înaintea Domnului.

⁶And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.

⁶Moise a zis: ,,Să faceţi ce a poruncit Domnul; şi vi se va arăta slava Domnului.``

⁷And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.

⁷Moise a zis lui Aaron: ,,Apropie-te de altar; adu-ţi jertfa ta de ispăşire şi arderea ta de tot, şi fă ispăşire pentru tine şi pentru popor; adu şi jertfa poporului şi fă ispăşire pentru el, cum a poruncit Domnul.``

⁸Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

⁸Aaron s'a apropiat de altar, şi a junghiat viţelul pentru jertfa lui de ispăşire.

⁹And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

⁹Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sîngele la el; el şi -a muiat degetul în sînge, a uns coarnele altarului, iar celalt sînge l -a turnat la picioarele altarului.

¹⁰But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹⁰A ars pe altar grăsimea, rărunchii, şi prapurul ficatului dela viţelul pentru jertfa de ispăşire, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

¹¹And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.

¹¹Iar carnea şi pielea le -a ars în foc afară din tabără.

¹²And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.

¹²A junghiat apoi arderea de tot. Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sîngele la el, şi el l -a stropit pe altar dejur împrejur.

¹³And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

¹³I-au adus şi arderea de tot tăiată în bucăţi, cu cap cu tot, şi le -a ars pe altar.

¹⁴And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

¹⁴A spălat măruntaiele şi picioarele, şi le -a ars pe altar, deasupra arderii de tot.

¹⁵And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

¹⁵În urmă, a adus jertfa pentru popor. A luat ţapul pentru jertfa de ispăşire a poporului, l -a junghiat, şi l -a adus jertfă de ispăşire, ca şi pe cea dintîi jertfă.

¹⁶And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

¹⁶A adus apoi arderea de tot, şi a jertfit -o, după rînduielile aşezate.

¹⁷And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

¹⁷A adus şi jertfa de mîncare, a umplut un pumn din ea, şi a ars -o pe altar, afară de arderea de tot de dimineaţă.

¹⁸He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

¹⁸A junghiat apoi taurul şi berbecele, ca jertfă de mulţămire pentru popor. Fiii lui Aaron au adus sîngele la el, şi el a stropit pe altar de jur împrejur.

¹⁹And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

¹⁹I-au adus apoi grăsimea taurului şi a berbecelui, coada, grăsimea care acopere măruntaiele, rărunchii, şi prapurul ficatului;

²⁰And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

²⁰au pus grăsimile acestea deasupra piepturilor, şi el a ars grăsimile pe altar.

²¹And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.

²¹Aaron a legănat într'o parte şi într'alta, ca dar legănat înaintea Domnului, piepturile şi spata dreaptă, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul.

²²And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

²²Aaron şi -a ridicat mînile spre popor, şi l -a binecuvîntat. Apoi, dupăce a adus jertfa de ispăşire, ardereadetot şi jertfa de mulţămire, s'a pogorît.

²³And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

²³Moise şi Aaron au intrat în cortul întîlnirii. Cînd au ieşit din el, au binecuvîntat poporul. Şi slava Domnului s'a arătat întregului popor.

²⁴And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

²⁴Un foc a eşit dinaintea Domnului, şi a mistuit pe altar arderea de tot şi grăsimile. Tot poporul a văzut lucrul acesta; au scos strigăte de bucurie, şi s'au aruncat cu faţa la pămînt.
