¹These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

¹Iată popasurile copiilor lui Israel cari au ieşit din ţara Egiptului, după oştirile lor, subt povăţuirea lui Moise şi lui Aaron.

²And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

²Moise a scris călătoriile lor din popas în popas, după porunca Domnului. Şi iată popasurile lor, după călătoriile lor.

³And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

³Au pornit din Ramses în luna întîi, în ziua a cincisprezecea a lunii întîi. A doua zi după Paşte, copiii lui Israel au ieşit gata de luptă în faţa tuturor Egiptenilor,

⁴For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

⁴în timp ce Egiptenii îşi îngropau pe toţi întîii lor născuţi, pe cari -i lovise Domnul dintre ei. Căci Domnul făcuse chiar şi pe dumnezeii lor să simtă puterea Lui.

⁵And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

⁵Copiii lui Israel au pornit din Ramses şi au tăbărît la Sucot.

⁶And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

⁶Au pornit din Sucot, şi au tăbărît la Etam, care este la marginea pustiei.

⁷And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

⁷Au pornit din Etam, s'au întors înapoi la Pi-Hahirot, faţă în faţă cu Baal-Ţefon, şi au tăbărît înaintea Migdolului.

⁸And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

⁸Au pornit dinaintea Pi-Hahirotului, şi au trecut prin mijlocul mării în spre pustie; au făcut un drum de trei zile în pustia Etamului, şi au tăbărît la Mara.

⁹And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

⁹Au pornit dela Mara, şi au ajuns la Elim; la Elim erau douăsprezece izvoare de apă şi şaptezeci de finici: acolo au tăbărît.

¹⁰And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.

¹⁰Au pornit din Elim, şi au tăbărît lîngă marea Roşie.

¹¹And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

¹¹Au pornit dela marea Roşie, şi au tăbărît în pustia Sin.

¹²And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

¹²Au pornit din pustia Sin, şi au tăbărît la Dofca.

¹³And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

¹³Au pornit din Dofca, şi au tăbărît la Aluş.

¹⁴And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

¹⁴Au pornit din Aluş, şi au tăbărît la Refidim, unde poporul n'a găsit apă de băut.

¹⁵And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

¹⁵Au pornit din Refidim, şi au tăbărît în pustia Sinai.

¹⁶And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.

¹⁶Au pornit din pustia Sinai, şi au tăbărît la Chibrot-Hataava.

¹⁷And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

¹⁷Au pornit dela Chibrot-Hataava, şi au tăbărît la Haţerot.

¹⁸And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

¹⁸Au pornit din Haţerot, şi au tăbărît la Ritma.

¹⁹And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.

¹⁹Au pornit dela Ritma, şi au tăbărît la Rimon-Pereţ.

²⁰And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.

²⁰Au pornit din Rimon-Pereţ, şi au tăbărît la Libna.

²¹And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

²¹Au pornit din Libna, şi au tăbărît la Risa.

²²And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

²²Au pornit din Risa, şi au tăbărît la Chehelata.

²³And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

²³Au pornit din Chehelata, şi au tăbărît la muntele Şafer.

²⁴And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

²⁵And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

²⁶And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

²⁷And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

³⁰And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

³¹And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.

³²And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.

³²Au pornit din Bene-Iaacan, şi au tăbărît la Hor-Ghidgad.

³³And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

³⁴And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.

³⁴Au pornit din Iotbata, şi au tăbărît la Abrona.

³⁵And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.

³⁵Au pornit din Abrona, şi au tăbărît la Eţion-Gheber.

³⁶And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

³⁶Au pornit din Eţion-Gheber, şi au tăbărît în pustia Ţin, adică la Cades.

³⁷And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

³⁷Au pornit din Cades, şi au tăbărît la muntele Hor, la marginea ţării Edomului.

³⁸And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

³⁸Preotul Aaron s'a suit pe muntele Hor, după porunca Domnului; şi a murit acolo, în al patruzecilea an după ieşirea copiilor lui Israel din ţara Egiptului, în luna a cincea, în cea dintîi zi a lunii.

³⁹And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.

³⁹Aaron era în vîrstă de o sută douăzeci şi trei de ani cînd a murit pe muntele Hor.

⁴⁰And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

⁴⁰Împăratul Aradului, Cananitul, care locuia în partea de miazăzi a ţării Canaanului, a aflat de sosirea copiilor lui Israel.

⁴¹And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.

⁴¹Au pornit dela muntele Hor, şi au tăbărît la Ţalmona.

⁴²And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.

⁴²Au pornit din Ţalmona, şi au tăbărît la Punon.

⁴³And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.

⁴³Au pornit din Punon, şi au tăbărît la Obot.

⁴⁴And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.

⁴⁴Au pornit din Obot, şi au tăbărît la Iie-Abarim, la hotarul Moabului.

⁴⁵And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.

⁴⁵Au pornit din Iie-Abarim, şi au tăbărît la Dibon-Gad:

⁴⁶And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.

⁴⁶Au pornit din Dibon-Gad, şi au tăbărît la Almon-Diblataim.

⁴⁷And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

⁴⁷Au pornit din Almon-Diblataim, şi au tăbărît la munţii Abarim, înaintea muntelui Nebo.

⁴⁸And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

⁴⁸Au pornit dela munţii Abarim, şi au tăbărît în cîmpia Moabului, lîngă Iordan, în faţa Ierihonului.

⁴⁹And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.

⁴⁹Au tăbărît lîngă Iordan, dela Bet-Ieşimot pînă la Abel-Sitim, în cîmpia Moabului.

⁵⁰And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

⁵⁰Domnul a vorbit lui Moise în cîmpia Moabului, lîngă Iordan în faţa Ierihonului. Şi a zis:

⁵¹Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

⁵¹,,Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le: ,Dupăce veţi trece Iordanul şi veţi intra în ţara Canaanului,

⁵²Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

⁵²să izgoniţi dinaintea voastră pe toţi locuitorii ţării, să le dărîmaţi toţi idolii de piatră, să le nimiciţi toate icoanele turnate, şi să le nimiciţi toate înălţimile pentru jertfe.

⁵³And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

⁵³Să luaţi ţara în stăpînire, şi să vă aşezaţi în ea; căci Eu v'am dat ţara aceasta, ca să fie moşia voastră.

⁵⁴And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

⁵⁴Să împărţiţi ţara prin sorţi, după familiile voastre. Celor ce sînt în număr mai mare, să le daţi o parte mai mare, şi celor ce sînt în număr mai mic, să le daţi o parte mai mică. Fiecare să stăpînească ce -i va cădea la sorţi; s'o luaţi în stăpînire, după seminţiile părinţilor voştri.

⁵⁵But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

⁵⁵Dar dacă nu veţi izgoni dinaintea voastră pe locuitorii ţării, aceia dintre ei pe cari îi veţi lăsa, vă vor fi ca nişte spini în ochi şi ca nişte ghimpi în coaste: vă vor fi vrăjmaşi în ţara în care veţi merge să vă aşezaţi.

⁵⁶Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

⁵⁶Şi vă voi face şi vouă cum hotărîsem să le fac lor.``
