¹I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

²Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

²Picioarele mi se opresc în porţile tale, Ierusalime!

³Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

³Ierusalime, tu eşti zidit ca o cetate făcută dintr'o bucată!

⁴Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

⁴Acolo se suie seminţiile, seminţiile Domnului, după legea lui Israel, ca să laude Numele Domnului.

⁵For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

⁵Căci acolo sînt scaunele de domnie pentru judecată, scaunele de domnie ale casei lui David.

⁶Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

⁶Rugaţi-vă pentru pacea Ierusalimului! Cei ce te iubesc, să se bucure de odihnă.

⁷Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

⁷Pacea să fie între zidurile tale, şi liniştea în casele tale domneşti!

⁸For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

⁸Din pricina fraţilor şi prietenilor mei, doresc pacea în sînul tău.

⁹Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

⁹Din pricina Casei Domnului, Dumnezeului nostru. fac urări pentru fericirea ta.
