¹Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

¹(Un psalm al lui Solomon.) Dumnezeule, dă judecăţile Tale împăratului, şi dă dreptatea Ta fiului împăratului!

²He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

²Şi el va judeca pe poporul Tău cu dreptate, şi pe nenorociţii Tăi cu nepărtinire.

³The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

³Munţii vor aduce pace poporului, şi dealurile de asemenea, ca urmare a dreptăţii Tale.

⁴He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

⁴El va face dreptate nenorociţilor poporului, va scăpa pe copiii săracului, şi va zdrobi pe asupritor.

⁵They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

⁵Aşa că se vor teme de Tine, cît va fi soarele, şi cît se va arăta luna, din neam în neam;

⁶He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

⁶va fi ca o ploaie, care cade pe un pămînt cosit, ca o ploaie repede, care udă cîmpia.

⁷In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

⁷În zilele lui va înflori cel neprihănit, şi va fi belşug de pace pînă nu va mai fi lună.

⁸He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

⁸El va stăpîni dela o mare la alta, şi dela Rîu pînă la marginile pămîntului.

⁹They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

⁹Locuitorii pustiei îşi vor pleca genunchiul înaintea lui, şi vrăjmaşii vor linge ţărîna.

¹⁰The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

¹⁰Împăraţii Tarsisului şi ai ostroavelor vor plăti biruri, împăraţii Sebei şi Sabei vor aduce daruri.

¹¹Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

¹¹Da, toţi împăraţii se vor închina înaintea lui, toate neamurile îi vor sluji.

¹²For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

¹²Căci el va izbăvi pe săracul care strigă, şi pe nenorocitul, care n'are ajutor.

¹³He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

¹³Va avea milă de cel nenorocit şi de cel lipsit, şi va scăpa viaţa săracilor;

¹⁴He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

¹⁴îi va izbăvi de apăsare şi de silă, şi sîngele lor va fi scump înaintea lui.

¹⁵And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

¹⁵Ei vor trăi, şi -i vor da aur din Seba; se vor ruga neîncetat pentru el, şi -l vor binecuvînta în fiecare zi.

¹⁶There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

¹⁶Va fi belşug de grîu în ţară, pînă în vîrful munţilor, şi spicele lor se vor clătina ca şi copacii din Liban; oamenii vor înflori în cetăţi ca iarba pămîntului.

¹⁷His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

¹⁷Numele lui va dăinui pe vecie: cît soarele îi va ţinea numele. Cu el se vor binecuvînta unii pe alţii, şi toate neamurile îl vor numi fericit.

¹⁸Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

¹⁸Binecuvîntat să fie Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, singurul care face minuni!

¹⁹And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

¹⁹Binecuvîntat să fie în veci slăvitul Lui Nume! Tot pămîntul să se umple de slava Lui! Amin! Amin!
