¹Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:

¹A ty, synu človeka, vezmi si tehlu a polož ju pred seba a vyryješ na ňu mesto, Jeruzalem.

²And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

²Dáš proti nemu obľahnutie a vystavíš proti nemu hradby a nasypeš proti nemu val a rozložíš proti nemu tábory vojska a postav proti nemu dobývacích baranov dookola.

³Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

³A ty si vezmi železnú paňvu a postavíš ju ako železný múr medzi seba a medzi mesto a obrátiš pevne svoju tvár proti nemu, a bude obľahnuté, a obľahneš ho. To bude znamením domu Izraelovmu.

⁴Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

⁴A ty si ľahni na svoj ľavý bok a položíš neprávosť domu Izraelovho naň; toľko dní, koľko budeš ležať na ňom, ponesieš ich neprávosť.

⁵For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

⁵A ja ti dám roky ich neprávosti v počte dní, tristo deväťdesiat dní, a ponesieš neprávosť domu Izraelovho.

⁶And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

⁶Keď tie dokončíš, ľahneš a budeš ležať na svojom pravom boku, po druhé, a ponesieš neprávosť domu Júdovho štyridsať dní; každý deň ti dávam za rok.

⁷Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.

⁷A proti obľahnutiu Jeruzalema obrátiš rázne svoju tvár a svoje obnažené rameno a budeš prorokovať proti nemu, proti Jeruzalemu.

⁸And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.

⁸A hľa, dávam na teba povrazy, a neobrátiš sa so svojho boku na druhý svoj bok, dokiaľ nedokončíš dní svojho obliehania.

⁹Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.

⁹A ty si vezmi pšenice, jačmeňa, bôbu, šošovice, pšena a viky a dáš to do jednej nádoby a pripravíš si z toho chlieb na počet dní, ktoré budeš ležať na svojom boku; tristo deväťdesiat dní to budeš jesť.

¹⁰And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.

¹⁰A tvojho pokrmu, ktorý budeš jesť, bude na váhu, dvadsať šeklov na deň. Od času do času ho budeš jesť.

¹¹Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.

¹¹Aj vodu budeš piť na mieru, šestinu hína; od času do času budeš piť.

¹²And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

¹²A budeš to jesť pripravené jako jačmenný koláč, a budeš to piecť na lajne, ktoré vyšlo z človeka, pred ich očami.

¹³And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.

¹³A Hospodin riekol: Tak budú jesť synovia Izraelovi svoj chlieb nečistý medzi pohanmi, kam ich zaženiem.

¹⁴Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

¹⁴Vtedy som povedal: Ach, Pane, Hospodine, hľa, moja duša nie je ničím poškvrnená, a zdochliny a roztrhaného od zveri som nejedol nikdy, od svojej mladosti až doteraz, ani ešte nevošlo do mojich úst ohavné mäso poškvrnené.

¹⁵Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.

¹⁵A riekol mi: Vidz, dal som ti kravský trus miesto lajna človeka, a teda pripravíš svoj chlieb na tom.

¹⁶Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

¹⁶A riekol mi: Synu človeka, hľa, ja polámem opornú palicu chleba v Jeruzaleme, a budú jesť chlieb na váhu a v starosti a vodu budú piť na mieru a v predesení,

¹⁷That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.

¹⁷aby mali nedostatok chleba a vody a desili sa druh s druhom a aby chradnúc vymizli pre svoju neprávosť.
