¹Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

¹Beda pastierom, ktorí hubia a rozptyľujú stádo mojej pastvy! hovorí Hospodin.

²Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

²Preto takto hovorí Hospodin, Bôh Izraelov, o pastieroch, ktorí pasú môj ľud: Vy rozptyľujete moje stádo, zaháňate ich a nenavštevujete ich. Hľa, tedy ja navštívim nešľachetnosť vašich skutkov na vás, hovorí Hospodin.

³And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

³A ja shromaždím ostatok svojho stáda zo všetkých zemí, kam som ich zahnal, a navrátim ich na ich pastvisko, a budú sa plodiť a množiť.

⁴And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

⁴A postavím nad nimi pastierov, a budú ich pásť. A nebudú sa viacej báť ani sa nebudú desiť ani nebudú niktorý chýbať, hovorí Hospodin.

⁵Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

⁵Hľa, idú dni, hovorí Hospodin, že vzbudím Dávidovi spravedlivý výrastok, a bude kraľovať ako kráľ a bude rozumne robiť a bude činiť súd a spravedlivosť na zemi.

⁶In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

⁶Za jeho dní bude spasený Júda, a Izrael bude bývať bezpečne. A toto bude jeho meno, ktorým ho budú nazývať: Hospodin naša spravedlivosť.

⁷Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

⁷Preto hľa, idú dni, hovorí Hospodin, že nepovedia už viacej: Ako že žije Hospodin, ktorý vyviedol synov Izraelových hore z Egyptskej zeme,

⁸But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

⁸ale: Ako že žije Hospodin, ktorý vyviedol hore a ktorý doviedol semeno domu Izraelovho zo zeme na sever a zo všetkých zemí, kam som ich bol zahnal, a budú bývať na svojej pôde.

⁹Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

⁹Prorokom: Moje srdce je skrúšené v mojom vnútri; chvejú sa všetky moje kosti; som ako opilý človek a jako muž, ktorého premohlo víno, pre Hospodina a pre slová jeho svätosti.

¹⁰For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

¹⁰Lebo zem ja plná cudzoložníkov, lebo zem vädne pre kliatbu, uschly pastviská na púšti, a preto ja ich beh zlý, a ich sila je nepravá.

¹¹For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

¹¹Lebo jako prorok, tak i kňaz páchajú nešľachetnosť, ba ešte aj vo svojom dome som našiel ich zlosť, hovorí Hospodin.

¹²Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

¹²Preto im bude ich cesta jako klzké miesta v mrákave; budú sotení a padnú na nej, lebo uvediem na nich zlé roku ich navštívenia, hovorí Hospodin.

¹³And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

¹³A pri prorokoch Samárie som videl veľký nerozum; prorokovali skrze Bála a zvodili môj ľud, Izraela, do bludu.

¹⁴I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

¹⁴Ale pri prorokoch Jeruzalema som videl až hroznú vec, cudzoložia a chodia v lži a posilňujú ruky zlostníkov, aby sa neobrátili niktorý od svojej zlosti. Všetci sú mi jako Sodoma a jeho obyvatelia ako Gomora.

¹⁵Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

¹⁵Preto takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov o tých prorokoch: Hľa, nakŕmim ich palinou a napojím ich jedovatou vodou, lebo od prorokov Jeruzalema vyšla nešľachetnosť na celú túto zem.

¹⁶Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

¹⁶Takto hovorí Hospodin Zástupov: Nepočúvajte na slová prorokov, ktorí vám prorokujú; zvodia vás spoliehať sa na márnosť. Hovoria videnie svojho srdca, nie slovo z úst Hospodinových.

¹⁷They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

¹⁷Neprestajne hovoria tým, ktorí mnou pohŕdajú, Hospodin vraj hovoril: Budete mať pokoj. A každému, kto chodí v umienenosti svojho srdca, hovoria: Neprijde na vás zlé.

¹⁸For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

¹⁸Lebo kto stál v rade Hospodinovej, aby bol videl a počul jeho slovo? Kto pozoroval moje slovo ušima a počul ho?

¹⁹Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

¹⁹Hľa, víchrica Hospodinova, prchlivosť vyšla a víriaci víchor búrlivý, zvalí sa na hlavu bezbožníkov.

²⁰The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

²⁰Neobráti sa nazpät hnev Hospodinov, dokiaľ neučiní Hospodin a dokiaľ nevykoná úmyslov svojho srdca. V posledných dňoch porozumiete tomu docela.

²¹I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

²¹Neposlal som tých prorokov, ale oni bežali; nehovoril som im, no, oni prorokovali.

²²But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

²²Ale keby boli stáli v mojej rade, boli by hlásali môjmu ľudu moje slová a boli by ich odvracali od ich zlej cesty a od nešľachetnosti ich skutkov.

²³Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

²³Či som ja Bohom len zblízka? hovorí Hospodin. A či nie som i Bohom z ďaleka?

²⁴Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

²⁴Či sa azda niekto skryje voľakde na skrytých miestach, aby som ho ja nevidel? hovorí Hospodin. Či azda ja nevyplňujem nebies i zeme? hovorí Hospodin.

²⁵I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

²⁵Počul som, čo hovoria tí proroci, ktorí prorokujú v mojom mene lož a hovoria: Snívalo sa mi, snívalo sa mi!

²⁶How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

²⁶Až dokedy to bude trvať? Či je to v srdci prorokov, ktorí prorokujú lož, a v srdci prorokov, ktorí prorokujú lesť svojho srdca?

²⁷Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

²⁷Či myslia spôsobiť to, aby môj ľud zabudol na moje meno, svojimi snami, ktoré rozprávajú druh druhovi, tak ako zabudli ich otcovia na moje meno pre Bála?

²⁸The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

²⁸Prorok, u ktorého je sen, nech rozpráva sen; ale ten, u ktorého je moje slovo, nech hovorí moje slovo, pravdu. Čo má pleva spoločného so zbožím? hovorí Hospodin.

²⁹Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

²⁹Či nie je moje slovo jako oheň? hovorí Hospodin, a jako kladivo, ktoré rozráža skalu?

³⁰Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

³⁰Preto hľa, prijdem na prorokov, hovorí Hospodin, ktorí kradnú moje slová druh od druha.

³¹Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

³¹Hľa, prijdem na prorokov, hovorí Hospodin, ktorí berú svoj jazyk a hovoria: Hovorí Hospodin.

³²Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

³²Hľa, prijdem na tých, ktorí prorokujú lživé sny, hovorí Hospodin, a rozprávajú ich a tak zvodia môj ľud do bludu svojimi lžami a svojím chvastúňstvom, a ja som ich neposlal ani som im neprikázal. Ale ani pomôcť nepomôžu tomuto ľudu, hovorí Hospodin.

³³And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

³³A keby sa ťa pýtal tento ľud alebo prorok alebo kňaz a povedal by: Jaké je bremä Hospodinovo? povieš im: Áno, jaké bremä! Ale zavrhnem vás, hovorí Hospodin.

³⁴And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

³⁴A proroka a kňaza a ľud, ktorý hovorí: Bremä Hospodinovo, toho človeka navštívim i jeho dom.

³⁵Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

³⁵Takto budete hovoriť druh druhovi a brat bratovi: Čo odpovedal Hospodin? Alebo: Čo hovoril Hospodin?

³⁶And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

³⁶Ale bremena Hospodinovho nespomínajte viacej, lebo by bremenom bolo každému jeho vlastné slovo, a prevrátili by ste slová živého Boha, Hospodina Zástupov, nášho Boha.

³⁷Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

³⁷Takto povieš prorokovi: Čo ti odpovedal Hospodin? Alebo: Čo hovoril Hospodin?

³⁸But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

³⁸Ale ak poviete: Bremä Hospodinovo, vtedy takto hovorí Hospodin: Pretože hovoríte to slovo, bremä Hospodinovo, hoci som poslal k vám a povedal: Nehovorte: Bremä Hospodinovo!

³⁹Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:

³⁹preto hľa, zabudnem na vás docela a zavrhnem vás i mesto, ktoré som bol dal vám i vašim otcom, zpred svojej tvári.

⁴⁰And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

⁴⁰A položím na vás večnú potupu a večnú hanbu, ktorá nebude zabudnutá.
