¹Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

²Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

²Panstvo a strach je u neho; pôsobí pokoj na svojich výsostiach.

³Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

³Či je počet jeho čatám? Alebo nad kým nevychádza jeho svetlo?

⁴How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

⁴A jako by tedy mohol byť smrteľný človek spravedlivý pred silným Bohom, alebo jako byť čistý splodený zo ženy?

⁵Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

⁵Hľa, ani mesiac mu nesvieti dosť jasne, a hviezdy nie sú čisté v jeho očiach.

⁶How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

⁶Čo potom smrteľný človek, červ a syn človeka, červiak!
