1Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.
1 A ciya mo, waato kaŋ Dawda go nga windo ra ga goro, kala Dawda ne annabi Natan se: «Guna, ay go sedre fu ra da goray, amma Rabbi sappa sundurko go daabuleyaŋ ra.»
2Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.
2 Natan mo ne Dawda se: «Hay kulu kaŋ go ni bina ra, ni m'a te, zama Irikoy go ni banda.»
3And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
3 A ciya mo, hano din cino ra, Irikoy sanno kaa Natan do ka ne:
4Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:
4 «Ma koy ka salaŋ ay tamo Dawda se ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi go ga ci: Ni si fu cina hal ay ma goro a ra,
5For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.
5 zama za hano kaŋ hane ay kande Israyla ka kaa hala hunkuna, ay mana goro fu kulu ra. Amma hukum ka koy hukum ra, da nangoray ka koy nangoray ra no ay go.
6Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
6 Nangey kulu kaŋ ay dira Israyla kulu banda mo, mate no, ay na sanni fo salaŋ Israyla jine borey kulu se, kaŋ yaŋ se ay lordi ka ne i m'ay borey kuru, k'i hã haŋ kaŋ se i mana sedre bundu fu cina ay se?»
7Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:
7 Sohõ haŋ kaŋ ni ga ci ay tamo Dawda se neeya: Haŋ kaŋ Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci neeya: «Ay na ni kaa kuruyaŋo do, feeji ganayaŋ ra, zama ni ma ciya jine boro ay jama Israyla boŋ.
8And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
8 Ay goro ni banda mo nangu kulu kaŋ ni gana. Ay na ni ibarey kulu halaci ni jine. Ay ga maa te ni se, danga boro beerey kaŋ yaŋ go ndunnya ra maa cine.
9Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
9 Ay ga nangu daŋ mo ay jama Israyla sabbay se, ay m'i tilam zama i ma goro ngey bumbo nango ra, boro kulu ma si ye k'i sosorandi koyne. Boro laaley mo si ye k'i halaci koyne, danga mate kaŋ i doona ka te waato,
10And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.
10 za han din kaŋ ay na jine boroyaŋ lordi ka ne i m'ay jama Israyla may. Ay ga ni ibarey kulu ye ni mayra ra mo. Woodin banda, ay go ga woone ci ni se: Rabbi ga dumi te ni se.
11And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
11 A ga ciya mo, waato kaŋ ni na ni aloomaro toonandi, kaŋ ni ga kani ni kaayey banda, gaa no ay ga ni dumi fo sinji ni banda, danga ni ize aru fo nooya, ay g'a koytara tabbatandi mo.
12He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.
12 Nga no ga windi cina ay se, ay g'a karga mo tabbatandi hal abada.
13I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:
13 Ay ga ciya a se baaba, nga mo ga ciya ay ize. Ay baakasinay suujo mo, ay s'a ta a gaa, danga mate kaŋ ay n'a ta bora kaŋ na ni jin din gaa.
14But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
14 Amma ay g'a gorandi ay windo nd'ay koytara ra hal abada, a karga mo ga tabbat hal abada.»
15According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

16And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
16 Kala Bonkoono Dawda furo ka koy ka goro Rabbi jine ka ne: «May ci ay, ya Rabbi Irikoy? May ci ay dumo mo, kaŋ ni to da ay hala neewo?
17And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
17 Ya Irikoy, danga haya din mo hari kayna no ni diyaŋ gaa, amma ni ye ka salaŋ ni tamo dumo boŋ alwaati kuuku kaŋ ga kaa ra, ya Rabbi Irikoy. Ni n'ay himandi danga boro kaŋ a dumo gonda beeray.
18What can David speak more to thee for the honor of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.
18 Ifo no ay, Dawda, ay ga du ka ci ni se koyne, darza beero kaŋ ni na ni tamo no boŋ? Zama ni ga ay, ni tamo bay.
19O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
19 Ya Rabbi, ay, ni tamo sabbay se no, ni bumbo bine ibaay boŋ mo no, ni na hari beeriyaŋ wo kulu te, zama ni ma muraadu bambatey din bayrandi.
20O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
20 Ya Rabbi, ni cine fo si no. Irikoy fo mo si no, kala nin, hay kulu kaŋ iri maa da iri hangey boŋ.
21And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
21 Dumi woofo no ka go no mo ndunnya ra, danga ni jama Israyla cine kaŋ Irikoy koy ka fansa hal i ma ciya nga bumbo jama, zama ni ma du ni boŋ se maa beeri, kaŋ ga humburandi? Ni na dumiyaŋ gaaray ka kaa ni jama jine, ngey kaŋ ni fansa ka kaa Misira ra.
22For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.
22 Zama ni na ni jama Israyla ciya ni bumbo jama hal abada. Ni mo, ya Rabbi, ni ciya i Irikoyo.
23Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said.
23 Sohõ mo, ya Rabbi, naŋ sanno kaŋ ni ci ay, ni tamo nda nga dumo boŋ ma tabbat hal abada. Ma te mo mate kaŋ ni salaŋ ka ci din.
24Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.
24 Naŋ ni maa mo ma tabbat, a ma du darza hal abada. I ma ne: ‹Rabbi Kundeykoyo ya Israyla Irikoy no; Irikoy no Israyla se.› Ay, ni tamo Dawda dumo mo ma tabbat ni jine.
25For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.
25 Zama nin, ya ay Irikoyo, ni na woodin bangandi ay, ni tamo se ka cabe kaŋ ni ga dumi te ay se. Woodin sabbay se no ay, ni tamo du bine-gaabi ay ma adduwa te ni jine.
26And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
26 Sohõ mo, ya Rabbi, ni ga ti Irikoy. Ni na alkawli hanno wo sambu ay, ni tamo se.
27Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.
27 Sohõ mo a kaan ni se ni ma ay, ni tamo dumo albarkandi hal a ma goro ni jine duumi, zama nin, ya Rabbi, nin no ka albarka daŋ. Oho, a go mo albarkante hal abada.»
