1We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
1 Iri mo, kaŋ go ga goy Irikoy banda, iri g'araŋ yaamar araŋ ma si Irikoy gomno ta yaamo.
2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2 Zama a ne: «Alwaati kaŋ ga hagu ra no ay hangan ni se, faaba zaari ra mo no ay na ni gaa.» Guna, sohõ no ga ti alwaato kaŋ ga hagu. Guna, sohõ no ga ti faaba zaaro.
3Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
3 Iri si katiyaŋ hari daŋ boro kulu jine, zama i ma si iri goyo jance.
4But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
4 Amma hay kulu ra iri go g'iri boŋ cabe sanda Irikoy goy-teeriyaŋ.
5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
5 Barzuyaŋ ra mo, da kasu, da kosongu bindi ra, da taabi goy, da hanna ka batu, da mehawyaŋ ra.
6By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
8 Iri go g'a te beerandiyaŋ da kaynandiyaŋ ra, ciine laalo nda ciine hanno ra. I n'iri himandi hallikoyaŋ amma iri ya cimikoyyaŋ no.
9As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
9 Iri ciya boroyaŋ kaŋ i mana bay, amma boro boobo g'iri bay. Iri ciya boroyaŋ kaŋ ga ba ka bu, guna mo iri go ga funa. Iri ciya boroyaŋ kaŋ i gooji, amma i man'iri wi.
10As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
10 Iri go bine-saray-koyyaŋ, amma alwaati kulu iri go ga farhã. Iri ciya talkayaŋ, amma iri go ga boro boobo arzakandi. Iri sinda hay kulu, amma wiiza, hay kulu iri wane no.
11O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
12 Iri n'iri bine kwaaray cabe araŋ se, amma araŋ no mana araŋ wano cabe iri se baakasinay ra.
13Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
13 Sohõ araŋ ma ye k'iri bana yaadin -- ay go ga salaŋ araŋ se danga ay izeyaŋ -- kal araŋ m'araŋ biney feeri yaadin ka tonton.
14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Zama marguyaŋ fo dumi no go adilitaray da zunubi game ra? Wala markasinay fo dumi no go kaari nda kubay game ra?
15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
15 Koyne, mate no Almasihu nda Beliyal* ga te ka margu? Wala baa woofo no go boro kaŋ ga cimandi se boro kaŋ mana cimandi do?
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
16 Woodin banda, sabayaŋ woofo dumi no go Irikoy fuwo da toorey game ra? Zama iri ya Irikoy fundikoono fuwo no, mate kaŋ Irikoy ne: «Ay ga goro i game ra, ka bar-bare i game ra. Ay ga ciya i Irikoyo, ngey mo ga ciya ay jama.»
17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
17 Woodin sabbay se Rabbi ne: «Wa fun i game ra ka fay d'ey. Wa si lamba hay kulu kaŋ ga ziibi gaa, ay mo g'araŋ ta.
18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Yaadin no Rabbi Hina-Kulu-Koyo ci.»
