6

1Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
1 Woone yaŋ wo lordey, da hin sanney, da farilley no kaŋ yaŋ Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo ne i m'araŋ dondonandi nd'ey. Zama araŋ m'i goy k'i te laabo kaŋ araŋ ga furo ka du a mayra din ra.
2That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
2 Zama ni ma humburu Rabbi ni Irikoyo. Ni m'a hin sanney d'a lordey kulu haggoy mo, wo kaŋ yaŋ ay na ni lordi nd'a, nin da ni ize da ni haama, kala ni fundo jirbey kulu me. Ni aloomaro ma ku mo.
3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
3 Ya Israyla, wa maa ka laakal daŋ k'a te, zama ni ma goro baani. Ni ma tonton gumo-gumo mo, danga mate kaŋ Rabbi ni kaayey Irikoyo n'a alkawli sambu ni se, laabu fo ra kaŋ ga wa nda yu bambari.
4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
4 Ya Israyla, wa maa! Rabbi iri Irikoyo ya Rabbi folloŋ no.
5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
5 Ni ma ba Rabbi ni Irikoyo da ni bina kulu, da ni fundo kulu, da ni gaabo kulu.
6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
6 Sanney wo mo, kaŋ yaŋ ay go ga ni lordi nd'a hunkuna, i ma goro ni bina ra.
7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
7 Ni ma ni izey dondonandi nd'a da anniya. Ni m'i fakaaray te waati kaŋ ni go ni fuwo ra ga goro, da waati kaŋ ni ga dira fonda boŋ, da waati kaŋ ni ga kani, da waati kaŋ ni ga tun jirbi mo.
8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
8 Ni m'i haw ni kambe gaa mo, i ma te alaama. I m'i daŋ mo ni sukuto gaa.
9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
9 Ni m'i hantum mo ni fu meyo bundey gaa, da ni windi daabirjey gaa.
10And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
10 A ga ciya mo, Rabbi ni Irikoyo ga kande nin laabo kaŋ a ze d'a ni kaayey Ibrahim da Isaka da Yakuba se din ra. A ne nga g'a no ni se. Laabo wo gonda kwaara beeri hanno yaŋ kaŋ yaŋ ni mana cina.
11And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
11 I gonda fuyaŋ mo kaŋ to da jinay hanno kulu dumi, kaŋ manti nin no k'i jisi. I gonda dayyaŋ kaŋ i fansi, amma manti nin no k'i fansi. I gonda reyzin* kaliyaŋ da zeytun* nyayaŋ, kaŋ manti nin no k'i tilam. Da Rabbi konda nin noodin mo, kaŋ ni ga ŋwa ka kungu,
12Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
12 waato din gaa ni ma haggoy ni ma si diny'a. Nga no ka fun da nin Misira laabo ra, noodin tamtaray windo ra.
13Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
13 Ni ma humburu Rabbi ni Irikoyo. A se mo no ni ga may ka ze d'a maa.
14Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
14 Araŋ ma si kamba ka koy de-koy waani yaŋ banda, kaŋ yaŋ ga ti dumey kaŋ g'araŋ windi din toorey.
15(For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
15 Zama Rabbi ni Irikoyo kaŋ go araŋ game ra ya Irikoy cansekom no. Ma haggoy fa, hala Rabbi ni Irikoyo bine ma si tun ka futu ni se, a ma ni halaci ka ni tuusu ka kaa ndunnya fando boŋ.
16Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
16 Araŋ ma si Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo si, mate kaŋ cine araŋ n'a si Massa zumbuyaŋo do.
17Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
17 Araŋ ma anniya haw ka Rabbi araŋ Irikoyo lordey, d'a seedey, d'a hin sanney haggoy, wo kaŋ yaŋ a na ni lordi nd'a.
18And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers.
18 Ni ma te mo haŋ kaŋ ga saba da haŋ kaŋ ga boori Rabbi diyaŋ gaa. Zama ni ma goro baani, ni ma furo mo ka du laabu hanna kaŋ Rabbi ze ni kaayey se ka ne nga ga ni no nd'a din.
19To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
19 A ma ni ibarey tuti ka hibandi ni jine mo, mate kaŋ Rabbi ci din.
20And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?
20 Jirbey kaŋ go kaa ra, da ni izo ga ni hã ka ne: «Ifo ga ti seedey, da hin sanney, da farilley kaŋ yaŋ Rabbi iri Irikoyo n'araŋ lordi nd'a?»
21Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
21 Gaa no ni ga tu ni izo se ka ne: «To. Waato iri goro ka te Firawna tamyaŋ Misira ra. Amma Rabbi n'iri kaa da kambe gaabikooni iri ma fun Misira.
22And the LORD showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
22 Iri jine mo no Rabbi na alaamayaŋ da dambara hari bambata yaŋ kaŋ masiiba wane yaŋ no cabe ka gaaba nda Misira, da Firawna, d'a windo kulu mo.
23And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
23 A n'iri kaa iri ma fun noodin mo, zama a ma kande iri k'iri no laabo kaŋ a ze d'a iri kaayey se.
24And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
24 Rabbi n'iri lordi mo, ka ne iri ma hin sanney wo kulu gana. Iri ma humburu Rabbi iri Irikoyo, zama iri ma goro baani duumi. A m'iri naŋ da fundi mo mate kaŋ iri go d'a hunkuna.
25And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
25 D'iri haggoy ka lordey wo kulu te Rabbi iri Irikoyo jine, a ga ciya iri se adilitaray mo, danga mate kaŋ cine a n'iri lordi nd'a.»
