¹And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.

¹ «Ni ma feema fo te koyne zama i ma dugu ton a boŋ. Jitti bundu no ni g'a te d'a.

²A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.

² A salleyaŋo kambe kar fo no, a tafayyaŋo mo kambe kar fo no, kambey kulu ga saba. A kayyaŋo mo kambe kar hinka no, nga nd'a hilley ga ciya jabuyaŋ fo.

³And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.

³ Ni m'a daabu mo da wura zalla, a boŋo d'a casey windanta d'a hilley. Ni ma bonkunga te a se da wura a beene windanta.

⁴And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.

⁴ Ni ma wura korbay hinka te a se mo a bonkunga cire a jabu hinka gaa. Ni m'i daŋ a casu hinka gaa, ngey no ga ciya goobey daŋyaŋ do a jareyaŋo se.

⁵And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

⁵ Ni ma goobey din te da jitti bundu k'i daabu nda wura.

⁶And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

⁶ Ni ma feema jisi kosaray taafa se jine. Seeda daŋyaŋ sundurko go kosaray taafa din se banda, naŋ kaŋ sasabandiyaŋo do go seeda boŋ, nango kaŋ ay ga kubay da nin.

⁷And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

⁷ Haruna mo ga dugu haw kaano ton a boŋ susubay kulu. Saaya kaŋ a ga fitilley hanse no a g'a ton.

⁸And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

⁸ A ga dugu ton mo wiciri kambu kulu, saaya kaŋ Haruna ga fitilley diyandi. Yaadin no a ga bara duumi Rabbi jine, araŋ zamaney kulu ra.

⁹Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

⁹ Araŋ ma si dugu waani fo salle a boŋ, wala sargay kaŋ i ga ton, wala ŋwaari sargay. Ni ma si haŋyaŋ sargay soogu a boŋ mo.

¹⁰And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

¹⁰ Haruna no ga sasabandiyaŋ te a hilley boŋ sorro folloŋ jiiri kulu ra. A g'a te da zunubi se sarga kuro, sasabandiyaŋ wano. A ga sasabandiyaŋ te d'a a se sorro folloŋ jiiri ra, araŋ zamaney kulu ra. Hari hanno no Rabbi se gumo-gumo.»

¹¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹¹ Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:

¹²When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.

¹² «Waati kaŋ ni ga Israyla izey baayaŋo kabu a lasaabuyaŋ se, saaya din alboro kulu ga nga fundo fansayaŋo no Rabbi se, waati kaŋ ni g'i kabu, zama balaaw ma si te i game ra saaya kaŋ ni g'i kabu.

¹³This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.

¹³ Haŋ kaŋ i ga no neeya: boro fo kulu, waati kaŋ a ga bisa ka koy borey kaŋ i jin ka kabu do, a ma sekel* jare no, nangu hananta sekelo misa boŋ, (sekel fo mo gonda gera waranka). Sekel jare no i ga no sargay Rabbi se.

¹⁴Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.

¹⁴ I boro fo kulu kaŋ i kabu lasaabuyaŋo ra, za jiiri waranka izey ka koy beene, a ga sargay no Rabbi se.

¹⁵The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.

¹⁵ Arzakantey si dake, talka mo si gaze sekel jara gaa, saaya kaŋ i ga Rabbi sarga no araŋ fundey sasabandiyaŋ se.

¹⁶And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.

¹⁶ Ni ma sasabandiyaŋ nzarfey ta Israyla izey gaa k'i jisi kubayyaŋ hukumo goyo se, zama i ma ciya fonguyaŋ hari Israyla izey se Rabbi jine, sasabandiyaŋ hari no araŋ fundey se.»

¹⁷And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁷ Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:

¹⁸Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.

¹⁸ «Ni ma taasa te nyumayyaŋ se da guuru-say, a daba mo guuru-say no. Ni m'a daŋ kubayyaŋ hukumo da sargay* feema game ra ka hari daŋ a ra.

¹⁹For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

¹⁹ Haruna nda nga izey ga ngey kambey da nga cey nyun a ra.

²⁰When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:

²⁰ Saaya kaŋ i ga furo kubayyaŋ hukumo ra, kal i m'i nyun da hari, zama i ma si bu se. Wala mo waati kaŋ i ga maan sargay feema do goy teeyaŋ se zama ngey ma sargay ton kaŋ i ga te danji ra Rabbi se,

²¹So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

²¹ i ma ngey kambey da ngey cey nyun yaadin zama i ma si bu se. A ga ciya i se mo hin sanni hal abada, danga Haruna nda nga izey se i zamaney ra.»

²²Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

²² Rabbi salaŋ Musa se ka ne:

²³Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

²³ «Kala ni ma turaare hanno jinay sambu, sanda zaawul kaŋ tiŋa ga to sekel zangu gu, da dugu kaano a jare fa, sanda sekel zangu hinka nda waygu nooya, da karra kaŋ haw ga kaan zangu hinka nda waygu,

²⁴And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:

²⁴ kassa mo zangu gu wane, nangu hananta sekelo misa boŋ, da zeytun* ji butal iddu.

²⁵And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

²⁵ Ni ma tuusuyaŋ ji hanante te d'ey, turaare diibante, ji teeyaŋ goy wane, gonitaray boŋ. A ga goro tuusuyaŋ ji hanante, waani.

²⁶And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,

²⁶ Nga mo no ni ga kubayyaŋ hukumo tuusu nd'a, da seeda daŋyaŋ sundurko,

²⁷And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,

²⁷ da taablo d'a jinayey kulu, da fitilla suntulo d'a kusey, da dugu tonyaŋ feema,

²⁸And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.

²⁸ da sargay kaŋ i ga ton feema d'a jinay kulu a banda, da nyumayyaŋ taasa d'a daba.

²⁹And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.

²⁹ Ni m'i ciya hananteyaŋ, zama i ma goro hari hannoyaŋ kaŋ ga bisa hay kulu. Haŋ kaŋ n'i ham kulu ga ciya hanante mo.

³⁰And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

³⁰ Ni ma Haruna nda nga izey mo tuusu k'i fay waani zama i ma goy ay se alfagataray goyey ra.

³¹And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

³¹ Ni ma salaŋ Israyla izey se koyne ka ne: Woone ga ciya tuusuyaŋ ji hanante ay se araŋ zamaney kulu ra.

³²Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

³² Ni ma s'a soogu boro fo gaaham gaa, ni ma s'a cine fo te mo a diibiyaŋo boŋ, zama a ga hanan. A ga ciya araŋ se hari hanno.

³³Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

³³ Boro kulu kaŋ n'a cine diibi, wala boro kulu kaŋ n'a daŋ yaw gaa, i g'a koy kaa nga borey game ra.»

³⁴And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:

³⁴ Rabbi ne Musa se koyne: «Kala ni ma yaaziyaŋ sambu, ngey neeya: stakte da camsa kaanikoy da galbano* kaŋ yaŋ haw ga kaan, da lubban* hanno, kaŋ i kulu tiŋay fo.

³⁵And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:

³⁵ Ngey mo no ni ga dugu te d'ey. Dugu haw kaano no kaŋ go waani, haw kaano teeyaŋ goy wane boŋ, kaŋ i diibi nda ciiri. Ihanno no, hanante mo no Irikoy se.

³⁶And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

³⁶ Ni ma kaa a ra ka tutubu hal a ma te hamni, ka jisi kubayyaŋ hukumo ra seeda jine, nango kaŋ ay ga kubay da nin. A ga ciya ni se hari hanno kaŋ bisa i kulu.

³⁷And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD.

³⁷ Dugo din kaŋ ni ga te, araŋ ma s'a cine fo te araŋ boŋ se, a diibiyaŋo boŋ bo. A ma ciya ni se hanante Rabbi se.

³⁸Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.

³⁸ Boro kulu kaŋ g'a cine te zama nga ma maa a hawo, i g'a koy kaa nga borey game ra.»
