1And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
1 Yakuba na nga izey ce ka ne: «Wa margu hal ay ma ci araŋ se haŋ kaŋ ga du araŋ da haŋ kaŋ araŋ ga du jirbey kaŋ ga kaa ra.
2Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
2 Ya araŋ Yakuba izey, Wa margu ka hanga jeeri. Wa hangan araŋ baabo Israyla* se:
3Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
3 Ruben ga ti ay hay-jina, ay hino, ay gaabi sintina, kaŋ a darza da hino ga bisa cindey.
4Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
4 Danga mate kaŋ hari go, yaadin cine no ni si kay. Ni si haŋ kaŋ ga boori gar, zama ni kaaru ni baabo daaro boŋ, saaya din ni n'a ziibandi. Ay daaro boŋ no a kaaru.
5Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
5 Simeyon da Lawi, care nya-izeyaŋ no. I takubey ya toonye wane yaŋ no.
6O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honor, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they digged down a wall.
6 Ya ay fundo, ma si furo i gundu ra. Ya ay darza, ma si kubay d'ey i marga do, zama i futa ra no i na boro wi. I boŋ sanda ra mo no i na yeejiyaŋ ce kaaji dumbu.
7Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
7 Laalante no i bine tuna, zama a dungu, i futa ya laalante no mo, zama a sinda bakaraw. Ay g'i fay-fay Yakuba ra. Ay g'i say-say mo Israyla ra.
8Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
8 Yahuda, nin no ni nya-izey ga saabu. Ni kambe ga goro ni ibarey kondey gaa, ni baabayzey mo ga sombu ni se.
9Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
9 Yahuda ya muusu beeri ize no. Ya ay izo, haŋ kaŋ ni wi do haray, ni ziji ka fun noodin. A gum ka kani danga muusu, danga muusu way. May no g'a tunandi?
10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
10 Sarjilla si fay da Yahuda, koytaray goobo ga sinji mo a cey game ra hala Silo ma kaa. Ndunnya dumey mo ga miila ngey m'a gana.
11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
11 A ga nga farka binjo haw reyzin tikse gaa, a farka nya izo go reyzin nya suubananta gaa. A na nga bankaarayey nyuna reyzin hari ra.
12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
12 A moy nyaale nda duvan*, a hinjey mo kwaaray da wa.
13Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.
13 Zabluna mo ga goro teeko me gaa. A ga goro nango kaŋ hiyey ga furo, a hirro boŋo mo ga maan Zidon kwaara.
14Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:
14 Isakar wo, farka gaabikooni no. A ga fulanzam nga jejey game ra.
15And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
15 A di kaŋ nga fulanzamyaŋo do ihanno no, a laabo mo ga kaan. A na nga jasa gungumandi jeje sambuyaŋ se. A ciya bannya, taabi goy-teeri.
16Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
16 Dan ga nga borey ciiti, danga Israyla kunda fo.
17Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
17 Dan ga ciya danga fondo beeri boŋ gondi. Fondayze me gaa gazama no kaŋ ga bari ce-kobsi kar hal a kaarukwa ma kaŋ banda-banda.
18I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
18 Ya Rabbi, ni faaba no ay ga hangan.
19Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
19 Gad mo, wongaarey g'a kankam, amma a ga kokor k'i gaaray.
20Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
20 Aser mo, a ŋwaaro ga ciya ji foy. A ga ŋwaari hanno no, bonkooni laam'ize dumi.
21Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.
21 Naftali ya jeeri ize taŋante no. A ga sanni hannoyaŋ ci.
22Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
22 Yusufu ya tuuri kambe no, kaŋ ga ize boobo hay, ize boobo hayko no hari zurey me gaa. A kambey ga daaru windi koray boŋ.
23The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
23 Gawey n'a maray k'a kankam. I n'a hay, i konn'a mo.
24But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
24 Amma a birawo kay da gaabi. A kambe jasey du gaabi mo Hina-Kulu-Koyo kambe ra, Yakuba wane Irikoyo -- (nga no ga ti kuruko da Israyla tondo mo).
25Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
25 Irikoy, ni baabo wane Irikoyo, ga ni gaa. Hina-Kulu-Koyo mo, nga no ga ni albarkandi nda albarkey kaŋ yaŋ ga fun beene, da guusey albarkey kaŋ yaŋ go ganda, da fafa albarkey, da gunde wane mo.
26The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
26 Ni baaba albarkey te zaama ay kaayey albarkey boŋ, hala tudey kaŋ ga duumi me. I ma goro mo Yusufu boŋ, ka dake a se beene, za kaŋ i n'a fay da nga nya izey.
27Benjamin shall raven as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.
27 Benyamin mo sakali* no, bine kaŋ ga koroŋ koy. Susubay a ga nga koli hamo ŋwa, wiciri kambu mo a ga arzaka fay-fay.»
28All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.
28 Borey din kulu, ngey no ga ti Israyla kunda way cindi hinka. Sanno din mo no i baabo ci i se. A n'i albarkandi mo, afo kulu nga albarka hina boŋ no a n'i albarkandi.
29And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
29 A gaabandi i se koyne, ka ne: «Ay wo, ay g'ay kaayey banda gana. Kal araŋ m'ay fiji ay kaayey do, guuso din ra kaŋ go Efron Hittanca faro ra.
30In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.
30 Makpela faro ra tondi guuso kaŋ go Mamre jine, Kanaana laabo ra nooya, kaŋ Ibrahim day faro me gaa Efron Hittanca gaa. Mayray hari no buukoy daŋyaŋ se.
31There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah.
31 Noodin no i na Ibrahim da nga wando Saharatu fiji. Noodin no i na Isaka nda nga wande Rabeka fiji. Noodin mo no ay na Laya fiji.
32The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth.
32 Faro da tondi guuso kaŋ go a ra, kaŋ i day Hetu izey gaa nooya.»
33And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.
33 Waato kaŋ Yakuba na nga izey lordi* ka ban, a na nga cey margu dima boŋ, a na nga biya taŋ. I n'a margu nga kaayey banda.
