¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹ Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:

²Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

² «Ma ci Israyla izey se ka ne: I ma kaajirikoy kulu fattandi gata banda, da boro kulu kaŋ gonda cantu, da wo kulu kaŋ ziibi buuko gaa lambayaŋ se.

³Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

³ Alboro wala wayboro, araŋ m'i kaa taray. Gata banda no araŋ g'i ye, hal i ma si ngey gata ziibandi kaŋ bindo ra no ay go da goray.»

⁴And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

⁴ Kala Israyla izey te yaadin. I n'i ye gata banda. Mate kaŋ cine Rabbi ci Musa se din, yaadin no Israyla izey mo te.

⁵And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

⁵ Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:

⁶Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;

⁶ «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne: Da alboro wala wayboro na zamba fo te kaŋ borey ga te, a na taali te Rabbi se mo. Bora din taalo ga goro a boŋ mo.

⁷Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

⁷ Zamba kaŋ a te din kal a m'a ci. A ma nga taalo kulu bana, a ma igu ra farsimi fo tonton a gaa mo. A m'a no bora kaŋ se a na taalo te din se.

⁸But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

⁸ Amma da bora din sinda almayaali kaŋ se i ga taalo bana, kulu a ma taalo bana Rabbi se, danga alfaga* se nooya. A ga kande banayaŋ hari, da taali se feeji gaaru fo mo, kaŋ i g'a taalo bana nd'a.

⁹And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.

⁹ Nooyaŋ kulu mo Israyla izey hari hanney ra, wo kaŋ yaŋ i ga no alfaga se, a ga ciya alfaga din wane.

¹⁰And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.

¹⁰ Boro kulu hari hanney a wane yaŋ no, sanda haŋ kaŋ boro no alfaga se, a kulu ga ciya a wane.»

¹¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹¹ Rabbi salaŋ Musa se koyne ka ne:

¹²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

¹² «Ma salaŋ Israyla izey se ka ne i se: Da boro fo wande na fondo taŋ, ka amaana ŋwaari te a se,

¹³And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

¹³ sanda alboro waani fo kani nda waybora, haya goro tugante mo kurnyo se; da waybora lamba, a ban ka ziibi mo, seeda si no a gaa, wala mo i man'a di,

¹⁴And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

¹⁴ hala canse biya furo kurnyo bina ra, kaŋ a ga canse nga wando gaa, nga mo a ziibi; wala mo da canse biya furo kurnyo ra, a ma canse nga wando gaa, baa a mana ziibi --

¹⁵Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

¹⁵ kala albora ma konda nga wando alfaga do. A ma kond'a se sargay fo mo, danga sayir* hamni neesiji zaka fo. A ma si ji dooru a boŋ, a ma si tonyaŋ dugu daŋ a boŋ mo, zama canse fonguyaŋ sargay no, hal i ma fongu taali gaa.

¹⁶And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:

¹⁶ Kala alfaga ma kande waybora ka maan, a m'a kayandi Rabbi jine.

¹⁷And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:

¹⁷ Alfaga ma gooru hari daŋ foobu fo ra, a ma laabu kayna sambu ganda laabo gaa, Irikoy nangora ra, a m'a daŋ haro ra.

¹⁸And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

¹⁸ Alfaga ma waybora kayandi Rabbi jine, a ma waybora boŋ hamno feeri. Fonguyaŋ sarga, kaŋ ci canse sarga din, a m'a daŋ waybora kambe ra. Hari fotto kaŋ ga ti laaliyaŋ wane mo, alfaga g'a gaay nga kambe ra.

¹⁹And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:

¹⁹ Alfaga ga waybora daŋ zeyaŋ, ka ne waybora se: ‹Da alboro waani kulu mana kani nda nin, da ni mana fondo taŋ ka fun ni kurnye mayra cire ka koy ka ziibi, i na ni feeri nda hari fotto wo kaŋ ga ti laaliyaŋ wane.

²⁰But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:

²⁰ Amma da ni na fondo taŋ ka fun ni kurnye mayra cire, ka ziibi alboro fo do, da alboro fo kani nda nin kaŋ waana ni kurnye:›

²¹Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;

²¹ (waato din gaa alfaga ma waybora daŋ zeyaŋ da laaliyaŋ mo, a ma ne waybora se) ‹To, Rabbi ma te ni ma ciya laaliyaŋ da wowi hari ni jama ra. Zama Rabbi ga naŋ ni tanja ma suugu, ni gunda mo ma fuusu.

²²And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

²² Hari woone mo kaŋ ga furo ni teelo ra, a ma naŋ ni gunda ma fuusu, ni tanja mo ma suugu.› Waybora ma tu ka ne: ‹Amin! Amin!›

²³And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:

²³ Alfaga mo ga sanney din hantum tira fo gaa, a m'i nyun da hari fotta.

²⁴And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

²⁴ A ma waybora haŋandi nda hari fotta kaŋ ga ti laaliyaŋ wane. Haro kaŋ ga laali mo ga furo a gunda ra ka fottu.

²⁵Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:

²⁵ Waato din gaa alfaga ga canse sarga ta waybora kambe ra, a ma sarga feeni Rabbi jine, k'a salle sargay feema ra.

²⁶And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

²⁶ Koyne alfaga ga tibi fo kaa sarga ra, sanda a fonguyaŋ se, k'a ton sargay feema ra. Woodin banda no a ga waybora haŋandi nda haro.

²⁷And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

²⁷ Waato kaŋ a na waybora haŋandi nda haro mo, a ga ciya, da kay a ziibi, d'a na taali te nga kurnyo se, haro kaŋ ga laali din ga furo a gunda ra ka fottu. A gunda mo ga fuusu, a tanja ga suugu. Waybora ga ciya wowi hari nga jama ra.

²⁸And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

²⁸ Da waybora mana ziibi mo, amma a ga hanan, kal i m'a taŋ. A ga du ka hay mo.

²⁹This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;

²⁹ Woodin no ga ti canse se farilla, da wande na fondo taŋ ka koy ka ziibi boro fo do kaŋ manti a kurnye no,

³⁰Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

³⁰ wala da canse biya furo kurnyo do, a ma canse nga wando gaa. A ma waybora kayandi Rabbi jine. Alfaga ma sanney wo kulu te a boŋ.

³¹Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

³¹ Waato din gaa no albora ga ciya taali si. Waybora ga nga taalo jare.»
