Romans

11

1I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
1 Ay ne hã: Irikoy na nga jama furu no? Abada! Zama baa ay bumbo Israyla* boro no, Ibrahim dumi, Benyamin kunda no.
2God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
Wala araŋ mana bay no haŋ kaŋ Irikoy Tira Hanna ci Iliya boŋ, mate kaŋ cine a na Irikoy ŋwaaray ka gaaba nda Israyla, ka ne:
3Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
3 «Rabbi, i na ni annabey wi, I na ni sargay* feemey zeeri. Ay mo, ay hinne no ka cindi. I goono g'ay fundo mo ceeci, ngey m'a kaa.»
4But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
4 Amma tuyaŋ woofo no Irikoy tu d'a a se?
5Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
5 Yaadin mo no a go sohõ alwaati wo ra, jare kayna fo ka bara kaŋ Irikoy suuban gomni boŋ.
6And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
6 Amma da gomni boŋ no, manti goyey boŋ no koyne. Da manti yaadin no, gomno manti gomni no koyne.
7What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
7 Ifo binde no? Haya kaŋ Israyla goono ga ceeci, a mana du a, amma suubanantey no du a. Cindey mo Irikoy n'i biney sandandi.
8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
8 Mate kaŋ i n'a hantum, ka ne: «Irikoy n'i no laakal tiŋo. A n'i no moyaŋ kaŋ i si di nd'ey, A n'i no hangayaŋ mo kaŋ i si maa d'ey, hala ka kaa hunkuna.»
9And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
9 Dawda mo ne: «I taablo ma ciya i se hirrimi, da kumsay, da katiyaŋ hari, da banandi mo.
10Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
10 I moy ma te kubay, hal i ma si du ka di. Ma naŋ mo i banda daarey ma gungum alwaati kulu.»
11I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
11 Amma ay ne: Katiyaŋo kaŋ i te, i n'a te zama ngey ma kaŋ se no? Abada! Amma i katiyaŋo do faaba kaa dumi cindey se, ka Israyla* zukku a ma canse.
12Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
12 To. Za kaŋ i katiyaŋo ciya ndunnya se arzaka, i mursa mo ciya dumi* cindey se albarka, sanku fa mo i toonandiyaŋo.
13For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
13 Amma sohõ ay goono ga salaŋ araŋ kaŋ ga ti dumi cindey se. Za kaŋ ay ya diya no dumi cindey se, ay go g'ay goyo beerandi
14If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
14 ka di, mate kulu kaŋ no, hal ay m'ay bumbo dumo zukku a ma canse, zama ay ma i ra afooyaŋ faaba.
15For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
16 Da looma sintina ciya _sargay|_ hanante, yaadin mo no motta. Da kaajo mo ciya hanante, yaadin mo no kambey ga ciya.
17And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
17 I na zeytun* kambe fooyaŋ ceeri. Nin mo, kaŋ ga ti ganjo ra zeytuno, i na ni dabu i game ra tuuri-nya hanna gaa, hala mo ni margu ka du zeytun kaajo albarka gaa i banda.
18Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
18 To, yaadin gaa, ni ma si fooma kambe fey din gaa, zama nda ni ga fooma, ma bay kaŋ manti nin no goono ga kaajo jare bo, amma day kaajo no goono ga ni jare.
19Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
19 Ni ga ne binde: «I na kambeyaŋ ceeri k'i kaa zama i m'ay dabu.»
20Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
20 To, i cimbeeri-jaŋa sabbay se no i n'i kaa. Ni mo, ni cimbeero* do no ni goono ga goro.
21For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
22 Wa guna Irikoy booriyaŋo d'a sandiyaŋo mo.
23And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
23 Borey mo, d'i mana soobay ka goro ngey cimbeeri-jaŋa ra, Irikoy ga ye k'i dabu, zama a gonda dabari k'i dabu koyne.
24For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
24 Zama nda nin, kaŋ ga ti ganjo ra zeytun nya kambe, Irikoy na ni pati ka kaa ka ni dabu zeytun nya hanna gaa, haŋ kaŋ borey mana doona ka te, sanku fa binde ngey wo, kaŋ ga ti zeytun nya hanna kambeyaŋ, manti Irikoy g'i dabu ngey boŋ zeytun nyaŋo gaa?
25For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Gundo wo ga ti: bine sanday te Israyla* jare se, hala waati kaŋ dumi cindey toonandiyaŋo ga to.
26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
26 Yaadin mo no Israyla kulu ga du faaba, mate kaŋ i n'a hantum ka ne: «Fansakwa ga fun Sihiyona* ra kaŋ ga Irikoy wanga kosaray Yakuba se.
27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
27 Woone no ga ti ay alkawlo kaŋ go in d'ey game ra, waati kaŋ ay g'i zunubey kaa.»
28As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
Amma Irikoy suubanyaŋo ciine ra, ngey no ga ti borey kaŋ Irikoy ga ba doŋ kaayey sabbay se.
29For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
30 Waato araŋ wo, araŋ wangu ka Irikoy gana, amma sohõ araŋ du suuji i ganayaŋ-jaŋa do.
31Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
31 Yaadin mo no ngey din kaŋ yaŋ wangu ka gana sohõ, i ga hin ka du suuji, wo kaŋ araŋ du din do.
32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
32 Zama Irikoy na boro kulu daabu ganayaŋ-jaŋay ra, zama nga ma suuji cabe borey kulu se.
33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
33 Hay! Mate kaŋ Irikoy laakalo arzaka ga guusu nd'a! A bayra mo, yaadin no a go! A ciitey baa da fintalyaŋ. A fondey mo bisa fahamay gaa!
34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
34 Zama: «May no na Rabbi miila bay, Wala may no ka ciya a saawarekasina?
35Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
35 May no jin k'a no, hal a m'a yeti a se?»
36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
36 Zama hay kulu fun a do, Hay kulu goono ga te a do, i ga ye a do mo. Darza ma ciya a wane hal abada! Amin!
