¹Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

¹ВАҚТЕ ки Ӯ ҳамаи суханони Худро ба самъи мардум расонда тамом кард, ба Кафарнаҳум ворид шуд.

²And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.

²Ғуломи якмирисад,ки барояш азиз буд, касал шуда, ба ҳолати назъ расида буд.

³And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.

³Вай овозаи Исоро шунида, пирони яҳудиро назди Ӯ фиристод, то аз Ӯ илтимос кунанд, ки омада ғуломи вайро шифо диҳад.

⁴And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

⁴Ва онҳо назди Исо омаданд, ва аз ӯ бисьёр илтимос карда, гуфтанд: «Вай сазовори он аст, ки ин корро барояш бикунй,

⁵For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.

⁵«Зеро ки вай қавми моро дӯст медорад ва барои мо куништ иморат кард».

⁶Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:

⁶Исо бо онҳо рафт. Ва ҳангоме ки ба наздикиҳои хона расид, мирисад дӯстонашро назди Ӯ фиристод, то ки ба Ӯ гӯянд: «Оғо! Ташвиш накаш, зеро ман лоиқи он нестам, ки Ту зери сақфи ман биёӣ;

⁷Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

⁷«Ба ин сабаб худамро низ лоиқ надонистам, ки назди Ту биёям; балки сухане бигӯ, ва ғуломи ман шифо хоҳад ёфт;

⁸For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

⁸«Зеро ки ман ҳам як фармонбар ҳастам, ва дар зери итоати худ сарбозонро дорам; ба яке мегӯям: "Еирав", меравад; ба дигаре мегӯям: "Биё", меояд; ва ба ғуломи худ мегӯям: "Фалон корро бикун", мекунад».

⁹When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

⁹Исо ин суханонро шунида, дар тааҷҷуб монд, ва ба мардуме ки аз ақиби Ӯмерафтанд, рӯ гардонда, гуфт: «Ба шумо мегӯям, ки Ман дар Исроил ҳам чунин имоне наёфтаам».

¹⁰And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

¹⁰Ва фиристодагон ба хона баргашта, он ғуломи беморро тандуруст ёфтанд.

¹¹And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

¹¹Баъд аз он Ӯ ба шаҳре рафт, ки Ноин номдорад; ва бисьёре аз шогирдонаш ва шумораи зиёди мардум ҳамроҳи Ӯ мерафтанд.

¹²Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

¹²Вақте ки Ӯ ба дарвозаи шаҳр наздик шуд, мурдаеро мебароварданд, ки писари ягонаи бевазане буд; ва мардуми бисьёре аз аҳли шаҳр бо вай равона буданд.

¹³And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

¹³Ва Худованд вайро дида, дилаш ба вай сӯхт ва ба вай гуфт: «Гирья накун».

¹⁴And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

¹⁴Ва наздик омада, тобутро ламс намуд; тобутбардорон бозистоданд; ва Ӯ гуфт: «Эй ҷавон! Ба ту мегӯям, бархез».

¹⁵And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

¹⁵Мурда сар бардошта, нишаст ва ба сухан даромад; ва Ӯ вайро ба модараш супурд.

¹⁶And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

¹⁶Ва ҳамаро тарсу ҳарос фаро гирифт, ва Худоро ҳамду сано хонда, мегуфтанд: «Пайғамбари бузурге дар миёни мо пайдо шудааст, ва Худо қавми Худро тафаққуд намудааст».

¹⁷And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

¹⁷Ин ақида дар бораи Ӯ дар тамоми Яҳудо ва дар тамоми гирду атроф паҳн шуд.

¹⁸And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

¹⁸Ва шогирдони Яҳьё ҳамаи инро ба ӯ хабар доданд.

¹⁹And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

¹⁹Ва Яҳьё ду нафарро аз шогирдони худ даъват намуда, назди Исо фиристод, то ки бипурсанд: «Оё Ту Ҳамон ҳастӣ, ки бояд биёяд, ё мунтазири дшаре бошем?»

²⁰When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

²⁰Онҳо назди Ӯ омада, гуфтанд: «Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳанда моро назди Ту фиристод, то ки бипурсем: "Оё Ту Ҳамон ҳастй, ки бояд биёяд, ё мунтазири дигаре бошем?"»

²¹And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.

²¹Дар ҳамон вақт Ӯ бисьёр касонро аз касалиҳо ва дардҳо ва аз арвоҳи палид шифо дода ва кӯрони бисьёрро биноӣ бахшида буд.

²²Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

²²Ва Исо дар ҷавоби онҳо гуфт: «Биравед ва он чи дидед ва шунидед, ба Яҳьё бигӯед: кӯрҳо мебинанд, шалҳо роҳ мераванд, махавиён пок мешаванд, карҳо мешунаванд, мурдагон эҳьё мешаванд, ба мискинон башорат дода мешавад;

²³And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

²³«Ва хушо касе ки дар ҳаққи Ман ба васваса наафтад».

²⁴And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

²⁴Ва ҳангоме ки фиристодагони Яҳьё баромада рафтанд, ба ҳама дар бораи Яҳьё ба сухан оғоз кард: «Барои дидани чӣ чиз ба биёбон рафта будед? Оё барои дидани қамише ки аз бод меларзад?

²⁵But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.

²⁵«Пас барои дидани чӣ чиз рафта будед? Оё барои дидани марде ки сару либоси нарм дар бар дорад? Аммо онҳое ки сару либоси зебо дар бар доранд ва бо айшу нӯш зиндагй мекунанд, дар қасрҳои подшоҳонанд.

²⁶But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

²⁶«Пас барои дидани чӣ чиз рафта будед? Оё барои дидани як набй? Оре, ба шумо мегӯял1, ки вай аз набӣ ҳам бузургтар аст.

²⁷This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

²⁷«Вай ҳамон аст, ки дар бораи вай навишта шудааст: "Инак, Ман косиди Худро пешопеши Ту мефиристам, то роҳи Туро пеши Ту муҳайё кунад".

²⁸For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

²⁸«Зеро ки ба шумо мегӯям: аз миёни онҳое ки аз зан таваллуд ёфтаанд, ҳеҷ як набие бузургтар аз Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳанда нест; лекин он ки дар Малакути Худо хурдтарин аст, аз вай бузургтар аст».

²⁹And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

²⁹Вақте ки тамоми мардум ва боҷгироне ки бо таъмиди Яҳьё таъмид гирифта буданд, шуниданд, Худоро ҳамду сано хонданд.

³⁰But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

³⁰Аммо фарисиён ва шариатдонон иродаи Худоро дар ҳаққи худашон рад карданд, зеро аз вай таъмид нагирифтанд.

³¹And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

³¹Ва Худованд гуфт: «Пас одамони ин наслро ба кӣ монанд кунам? Ва онҳо ба кй монандй доранд?

³²They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

³²«Онҳо ба кӯдаконе монандӣ доранд, ки дар кӯча нишаста ва якдигарро ҷеғ зада, мегӯянд: "Барои шумо най навохтем, рақс накардед; барои шумо навҳагарӣ кардем, нагиристед".

³³For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.

³³«Зеро ки Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳанда омад, ки на нон мехӯрад ва на шароб менӯшад; ва шумо мегӯед: "Вай дев дорад".

³⁴The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

³⁴«Писари Одам омад, кя мехӯрад ва менӯшад, ва шумо мегӯед: "Инак марди пурхӯр ва майгусор, ки дӯсти бочгирон ва гунохкорон аст".

³⁵But wisdom is justified of all her children.

³⁵«Ва ҳикмат аз тарафи ҳамаи фарзандони он тасдиқ карда шуд».

³⁶And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

³⁶Яке аз фарисиён аз Ӯ хоҳиш кард, ки бо вайхӯрок хӮрад; на Ӯба хонаи фарисӣ даромада, назди суфра нишаст.

³⁷And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

³⁷Ва инак, зане ки дар он шаҳр гуноҳкор буд, чун шунид, ки Ӯ дар хонаи фарисй назди суфра нишастааст, зарфи гаҷине бо равғани атрафшон овард;

³⁸And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

³⁸Ва аз қафо назди пойҳои Ӯ истода, гирьякунон пойҳои Ӯро бо ашки худ шуст ва бо мӯйҳои сари худ хушконид, ва пойҳои Ӯро бӯсида, бо равғани атрафшон тадҳин кард.

³⁹Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

³⁹Фарисие ки Ӯро таклиф карда буд, чун ннро дид, дар Дили худ гуфт: «Агар Ӯ набй мебуд, медонист, ки вай кист ва чй гуна зан аст, ки Ӯро ламс мекунад,зеро ки вай гуноҳкор аст».

⁴⁰And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

⁴⁰Исо ба ӯ рӯ оварда гуфт: «Эй Шимъӯн! Ба ту чизе гуфтанй ҳастам». Гуфт: «Бигӯй, эй Ӯстод».

⁴¹There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

⁴¹Исо гуфт: «Аз қарзхоҳе ду кас қарздор буданд: яке панҷсад динор ва дигаре панҷоҳ динор қарз дошт.

⁴²And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

⁴²«Азбаски барои адо кардан чизе надоштанд, ӯ ҳар дуро бахшид. Бигӯ, ки кадоме аз онҳо ӯро бештар дӯст хоҳад дошт?»

⁴³Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

⁴³Шимъӯн дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Ба гумони ман, ҳамон касеки ба вай ӯ бештар бахншдааст». Ба ӯ гуфт: «Дуруст фикр кардӣ».

⁴⁴And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

⁴⁴Ва ба тарафи зан рӯ гардонда, ба Шимъӯн гуфт: «Оё ин занро мебинй? Ман ба хонаи ту омадам, ва ту об барои пойҳоям надодй; аммо вай пойҳои Маро бо ашкаш шуста, бо мӯйҳои сараш хушконид.

⁴⁵Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

⁴⁵«Ту Маро бӯса накардӣ; аммо вай, аз вақги омаданам ин ҷониб, бӯсидани пойҳои Маро бас намекунад.

⁴⁶My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

⁴⁶«Ту сари Маро бо равғани зайтун тадҳин накардӣ; аммо вай пойҳои Маро бо равғани атрафшон тадҳин кард.

⁴⁷Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

⁴⁷«Бинобар ин ба ту мегӯям: гуноҳҳои бисьёри вайомурэида шудааст барои он ки вай муҳаббати бисьёре зоҳир намуд; вале касе ки кам омурзида шуда бошад, муҳаббати кам зоҳир намудааст».

⁴⁸And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

⁴⁸Ва Ӯ ба вай гуфт: «Гуноҳҳоят омурзида шудааст».

⁴⁹And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

⁴⁹Онҳое ки бо Ӯ назди суфра нишаста буданд, дар дили худ гуфтанд: «Ин кист, ки гуноҳҳоро низ меомурзад?»

⁵⁰And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

⁵⁰Ӯ ба он зан гуфт: «Имонат туро наҷот дод; ба саломатӣ бирав».
