¹And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

¹ЧӮН Исо ҳамаи ин суханонро ба поён расонд, ба шогирдони Худ гуфт:

²Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

²«Шумо медонед, ки пас аз ду рӯз иди фисҳ аст, ва Писари Одам таслим карда хоҳад шуд, то ки маслуб гардад».

³Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

³Он гоҳ саркоҳинон ва китобдонон ва пирони қавм дар ҳавлии саркоҳин, ки Қаёфо ном дошт, ҷамъ омаданд,

⁴And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

⁴Ва машварат карданд, ки Исоро бо ҳила дастгир карда, ба қатл расонанд;

⁵But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

⁵Лекин мегуфганд: <ғНа дар ид, мабодо дар байни мардум ошӯбе рӯй диҳад».

⁶Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

⁶Ва ҳангоме ки Исо дар Байт-Ҳинӣ дар хонаи Шимъӯни махавй буд,

⁷There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

⁷Зане бо зарфи гаҷини равғани атрафшони гаронбаҳо назди Ӯ омад ва дар ҳолате ки Ӯ дар сари суфра нишаста буд, бар сари Ӯ рехт.

⁸But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

⁸Ва шогирдонаш, чун инро диданд, норозӣ шуда, гуфтанд: «Ин исрофкорӣ барои чист?

⁹For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

⁹«Зеро ки равғани атрафшонро ба қимати гарон фурӯхта, ба мискинон додан мумкин буд».

¹⁰When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

¹⁰Лекин Исо инро дарьёфта, ба онҳо гуфт: гЧаро занро хичил мекунед? Вай барои Ман коре некӯ кард;

¹¹For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

¹¹Зеро мискинон ҳар вақт дар назди шумо ҳастанд, лекин Ман ҳамеша бо шумо нестам;

¹²For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

¹²Вай ин равғани атрафшонро бар Бадани Ман рехта, Маро барои дафн тайёр кард;

¹³Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

¹³Ба ростӣ ба шумо мегӯям: дар тамоми ҷаҳон ҳар ҷо, ки Инҷил мавъиза шавад, кори вай низ барои ёдоварии вай зикр хоҳад ёфт».

¹⁴Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

¹⁴Он гоҳ яке аз он дувоздаҳ, ки Яҳудои Исқарьют ном дошт, пеши саркоҳинон рафт

¹⁵And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

¹⁵Ва гуфт: «Ба ман чй хоҳед дод, то ки Ӯро ба шумо таслим кунам?» Онҳо ба вай сй сиккаи нуқра таклиф карданд;

¹⁶And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

¹⁶Ва аз он дам вай фурсат меҷуст, ки Ӯро таслим кунад.

¹⁷Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

¹⁷Дар рӯзи аввали иди фатир шогирдон назди Исо омада, гуфтанд: «Куҷо мехоҳӣ фисҳро барои хӯрдани Ту тайёр кунем?»

¹⁸And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

¹⁸Гуфт: «Ба шаҳр назди фалонӣ биравед ва бигӯед: Ӯстод мегӯяд: вакти Ман наздик аст, ва фисҳро бо шогирдони Худ дар хонаи ту мегузаронам"».

¹⁹And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

¹⁹Ва шогирдон он чи Исо фармуда буд, ба ҷо оварданд, ва фисҳро омода карданд.

²⁰Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.

²⁰Бегоҳи рӯз Ӯ бо он дувоздаҳ дар сари суфра нишаст;

²¹And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

²¹Ва ҳангоме ки таом мехӯрданд, гуфт: «Ба ростӣ ба шумо мегӯям, ки яке аз шумоён Маро таслим ҳоҳад кард».

²²And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

²²Онҳо бисьёр ғамгин шуданд ва паси ҳамдигар ба Ӯ мегуфтанд: «Худовандо, оё он манам?»

²³And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

²³Ӯ дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Он ки бо Ман даст дар табақ меандозад, ҳамон кас Маро таслим хоҳад кард;

²⁴The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

²⁴«Агарчи Писари Одам ончунон, ки дар бораи Ӯ навишта шудааст, меравад, лекин вой бар ҳоли он касе ки Писари Одам ба воситаи вай таслим карда шавад: барои вай беҳтар мебуд, ки таваллуд намеёфт».

²⁵Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

²⁵Дар ҷавоб Яҳудо, ки таслимкунандаи Ӯ буд, гуфт: «Эй ӯстодам, оё он манам?» Ба вай гуфт: «Ту гуфтӣ».

²⁶And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

²⁶Ва ҳангоме ки онҳо таом мехӯрданд, Исо нонро гирифта, баракат дод ва пора карда, ба шогирдон доду гуфт: «Бигиред ва бихӯред, ки ин Бадани Ман аст».

²⁷And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

²⁷Ва косаро гирифта, шукргузорӣ намуд ва ба онҳо дода, гуфт: «Ҳама аз ин бинӯшед;

²⁸For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

²⁸«Зеро ин аст Хуни Ман аз аҳди ҷадид, ки барои бисьёр касон аз баҳри омурзиши гуноҳҳо рехта мешавад.

²⁹But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

²⁹«Аммо ба шумо мегӯям, ки минбаьд аз ин шираи ангур нахоҳам нӯшид, то ҳамон рӯзе ки дар Малакути Падари Худ онро бо шумо тоза бинӯшам».

³⁰And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

³⁰Ва ҳамду сано хонда, ба сӯи кӯҳи Зайтун равона шуданд.

³¹Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

³¹Он гоҳ Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Ҳамаи шумо имшаб дар ҳаққи Ман ба васваса хоҳед афтод, зеро навишта шудааст: "Чӯпонро мезанам, ва гӯсфандони рама пароканда хоҳанд шуд".

³²But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

³²«Аммо пас аз эҳьё шуданам, пеш аз шумо ба Ҷалил хоҳам рафт».

³³Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

³³Петрус дар ҷавоби Ӯ гуфт: «Агар ҳама дар ҳаққи ТӮ ба васваса афтанд ҳам, ман ҳаргиз намеафтам».

³⁴Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

³⁴Исо ба вай гуфт: «Ба ростӣ ба ту мегӯям, ки дар ҳамин шаб, пеш аз он ки хурӯс бонг занад, Маро се бор инкор хохӣ кард».

³⁵Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

³⁵Петрус ба Ӯгуфт: «Ҳатто агар бо Ту мурданам лозим ояд, Туро инкор намекунам». Ҳамаи шогирдон низ ҳамчунин гуфтанд.

³⁶Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

³⁶Баъд аз ин Исо бо онҳо ба мавзее ки Ҷатсамонӣ ном дошт, омад ва ба шогирдонаш гуфт: «Дар ин ҷо бинишинед, то дар он ҷо дуо гӯям».

³⁷And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

³⁷Ва Петрус ва ҳар ду писари Забдойро бо Худ бурд; ва хеле маҳзун ва дилтанг шуд.

³⁸Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

³⁸Ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Ҷони Ман то ба дараҷаи марговар маҳзун шудааст; дар ин ҷо бимонед ва бо Ман бедор бошед».

³⁹And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

³⁹Ва каме пештар рафта, рӯ ба замин афтод ва дуо карда, гуфт: «Эй Падари Ман! Агар мумкин бошад, ин коса аз Ман бигзарад; лекин на бо хоҳиши Ман, балки бо иродаи Ту».

⁴⁰And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

⁴⁰Ва назди шогирдонаш омада, онҳоро хуфта ёфт, ва ба Петрус гуфт: «Оё натавонистед соате бо Ман бедор бошед?

⁴¹Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

⁴¹«Бедор бошед ва дуо гӯед, то ба озмоиш дучор нашавед: рӯҳ бардам аст, лекин ҷисм нотавон».

⁴²He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

⁴²Бори дигар рафта, боз дуо кард ва гуфт: «Эй Падари Ман! Агар мумкин набошад, ки ин коса, бе он ки онро бинӯшам, аз Ман бнгзарад, пас он чи иродаи Туст, бишавад».

⁴³And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

⁴³Ва омада, боз онҳоро хуфта ёфт, зеро чашмонашон хоболуд буд.

⁴⁴And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

⁴⁴Ва онҳоро гузошта, боз рафт ва бори сеюм бо ҳамон суханон дуо гуфт.

⁴⁵Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴⁵Он гоҳ назди шогирдонаш омада, ба онҳо гуфт: «Шумо ҳанӯз мехобед ва истироҳат мекунед? Инак, соат расидааст, ва Писари Одам ба дасти гуноҳкорон таслим карда мешавад;

⁴⁶Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

⁴⁶«Барҳезед, биравем: инак, он ки Маро таслим мекунад, наздик омад».

⁴⁷And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

⁴⁷Ва ҳанӯз ки Ӯ сухан мегуфт, инак, Яҳудо, ки яке аз он дувоздаҳ буд, ва бо вай мардуми бисьёре аз ҷониби саркоҳинон ва пирони қавм бо шамшеру таёқҳо омаданд.

⁴⁸Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

⁴⁸Таслимкунандаи Ӯ ишорате ба онҳо дода, гуфта буд: «Ҳар киро бибӯсам, Ӯ Ҳамон аст, Ӯро дастгир кунед».

⁴⁹And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

⁴⁹Ва дарҳол назди Исо омада, гуфт: «Ассалом, эй Ӯстод!» Ва Ӯро бӯсид.

⁵⁰And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

⁵⁰Лекин Исо ба вай гуфт: «Эй рафиқ, барои чй омадӣ?» Ва онҳо наздик омада, дастҳои худро бар Исо андохтанд, ва Ӯро гирифтанд.

⁵¹And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

⁵¹Ва ногоҳ яке аз ҳамроҳони Исо даст оварда, шамшери худро аз ғилоф кашид ва ба ғуломи саркоҳин зада, гӯши вайро бурида партофт.

⁵²Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

⁵²Исо ба вай гуфт: «Шамшери худро ғилоф кун, зеро ҳар кӣ шамшер кашад, ба шамшер кушта шавад;

⁵³Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

⁵³«Ё гумон мекунӣ, ки алҳол наметавонам аз Падари Худ хоҳиш намоям, ки барои Ман зиёда аз дувоздаҳ фавҷ фариштагонро равона кунад?

⁵⁴But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

⁵⁴«Лекин дар он сурат Навиштаҳо чӣ гуна ба амал меояд, ки ҳамин тавр бояд бишавад?»

⁵⁵In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

⁵⁵Дар ҳамон соат Исо ба мардум гуфт: «Гӯе бар зидди роҳзане шумо бо шамшеру таёқҳо берун омадаед, то Маро дастгир кунед; ҳар рӯз Ман назди шумо дар маъбад нишаста, таълим медодам, ва шумо Маро дастгир накардед.

⁵⁶But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

⁵⁶«Лекин ин ҳама шуд, то ки навиштаҳои анбиё ба амал ояд». Он гоҳ ҳамаи шогирдон Ӯро вогузошта, гурехтанд.

⁵⁷And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

⁵⁷Ва онҳое ки Исоро дастгир карданд, Ӯро назди саркоҳин Қаефо оварданд, ки дар он ҷо китобдонон ва пирон ҷамъ омада буданд.

⁵⁸But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

⁵⁸Лекин Петрус аз дур, то ҳавлии саркоҳин, аз паи Ӯ равона шуд; ва ба даруни он даромада, бо хизматгорон нишаст, то ки анҷоми корро бубинад.

⁵⁹Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

⁵⁹Саркоҳинон ва тамоми шӯрои пирон дар ҷустуҷӯи шаҳодати бардурӯғе бар зидди Исо буданд, то Ӯро ба қатл расонанд,

⁶⁰But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

⁶⁰Лекин наёфтанд; бо вуҷуди он ки бисьёр шоҳидони козиб омада буданд, ҳеҷ наёфтанд. Ниҳоят, ду шоҳиди козиб омада,

⁶¹And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

⁶¹Гуфтанд: «Ӯ мегуфт: "Метавонам маъбади Худоро вайрон кунам ва дар зарфи се рӯз онро аз нав бино кунам"».

⁶²And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

⁶²Ва саркоҳин бархоста, баӮгуфт: «Ҳеҷ ҷавоб намедиҳӣ? Ин чист, ки инҳо бар зидди Ту шаҳодат медиҳанд?»

⁶³But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

⁶³Аммо Исо хомӯшмонд. Ва саркоҳин ба Ӯ гуфт: «Туро ба Худои Ҳай қасам медиҳам, ба мо бигӯ, ки оё Ту Масеҳ, Писари Худо ҳастӣ?»

⁶⁴Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

⁶⁴Исо ба вай гуфт: «Ту гуфтӣ; аммо Ман ба шумо мегӯям: пас аз ин Писари Одамро хоҳед дид, ки ба ямини Кудрат нишаста, бар абрҳои осмон меояд».

⁶⁵Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

⁶⁵Он гоҳ саркоҳин ҷомаи худро дарронда, гуфт: «Ӯ куфр гуфт! Дигар ба шоҳидон чӣ ҳоҷат дорем? Инак, акнун шумо куфри Ӯро пгунидед!

⁶⁶What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

⁶⁶«Чӣ мулоҳиза доред?» Дар ҷавоб гуфтанд: «Сазовори марг аст».

⁶⁷Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

⁶⁷Он гоҳ ба сару рӯи Ӯ туф кардан гирифтанд, ва Ӯро мезаданд; баъзеҳо Ӯро торсакй мезаданд

⁶⁸Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

⁶⁸Ва мегуфтанд: «Эй Масеҳ, ба мо нубувват кун, ки Туро кӣ задааст?»

⁶⁹Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.

⁶⁹Аммо Петрус дар берун, дар рӯи ҳавлӣ нишаста буд. Ва канизе назди вай омада, гуфт: «Ту низ бо Исои Ҷалилӣ будӣ».

⁷⁰But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.

⁷⁰Лекин вай дар назди ҳама инкор карда, гуфт: «Намедонам, ки ту чй мегӯӣ».

⁷¹And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.

⁷¹Вақте ки аз дарвоза берун мерафт, канизи дигаре вайро дида, ба онҳое ки дар он ҷо буданд, гуфт: «Ин ҳам бо Исои Носирӣ буд».

⁷²And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

⁷²Вай бори дигар инкор карда, қасам хӯрд, ки Он Одамро намешиносад.

⁷³And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

⁷³Пас аз муддате ҳозирон наздик омада, ба Петрус гуфтанд: «Дар ҳақиқат ту низ яке аз онҳо мебошй, зеро ки лаҳҷаи ту ба ин шаҳодат медиҳад».

⁷⁴Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

⁷⁴Он гоҳ вай ба савганду қасам хӯрдан оғоз намуда, гуфт: «Он Одамро намешиносам». Ва дарҳол хурӯс бонг зад.

⁷⁵And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

⁷⁵Ва Петрус сухани Исоро ба ёд овард, ки ба вай гуфта буд: «Пеш аз он ки хурӯс бонг занад, Маро се бор инкор хоҳй кард». Ва берун рафта, зорзор гирист.
