1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
1ท่านได้ชี้ให้ข้าพเจ้าดูแม่น้ำบริสุทธิ์ที่มีน้ำแห่งชีวิต ใสเหมือนแก้วผลึก ไหลออกมาจากพระที่นั่งของพระเจ้า และของพระเมษโปดก
2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2ท่ามกลางถนนในเมืองนั้นและริมแม่น้ำทั้งสองฟากมีต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ซึ่งออกผลสิบสองชนิด ออกผลทุกๆเดือน และใบของต้นไม้นั้นสำหรับรักษาบรรดาประชาชาติให้หาย
3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
3จะไม่มีการสาปแช่งใดๆอีกต่อไป พระที่นั่งของพระเจ้าและของพระเมษโปดกจะตั้งอยู่ในเมืองนั้น และบรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์จะปรนนิบัติพระองค์
4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
4เขาเหล่านั้นจะเห็นพระพักตร์พระองค์ และพระนามของพระองค์จะประทับอยู่ที่หน้าผากเขา
5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
5กลางคืนจะไม่มีที่นั่น เขาไม่ต้องการแสงเทียนหรือแสงอาทิตย์ เพราะว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าคือพระเจ้าทรงประทานแสงสว่างแก่เขา และเขาจะครอบครองอยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์
6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
6และทูตสวรรค์องค์นั้นบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "ถ้อยคำเหล่านี้เป็นคำสัตย์ซื่อและสัตย์จริง และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระเจ้าแห่งพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์อันบริสุทธิ์ ได้ทรงใช้ทูตสวรรค์ของพระองค์สำแดงแก่บรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ถึงเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงซึ่งจะอุบัติขึ้นในไม่ช้า"
7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
7"ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว ผู้ใดที่ถือรักษาคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ก็เป็นสุข"
8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
8ข้าพเจ้า คือยอห์น เป็นผู้ได้เห็นและได้ยินเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ และครั้นข้าพเจ้าได้ยินและได้เห็นแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็ทรุดตัวลงจะนมัสการแทบเท้าทูตสวรรค์ที่ได้สำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ข้าพเจ้า
9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
9แต่ท่านห้ามข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าเลย ด้วยว่าข้าพเจ้าเป็นเพื่อนผู้รับใช้เช่นเดียวกับท่าน และพวกพี่น้องของท่านคือพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ และพวกที่ถือรักษาถ้อยคำในหนังสือนี้ จงนมัสการพระเจ้าเถิด"
10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
10และท่านบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าประทับตราปิดคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ เพราะว่าใกล้จะถึงเวลานั้นแล้ว
11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
11ผู้ที่เป็นคนอธรรมก็ให้เขาอธรรมต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนลามกก็ให้เขาลามกต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนชอบธรรมก็ให้เขาชอบธรรมต่อไป และผู้ที่เป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ก็ให้เขาเป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ต่อไป"
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
12"ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว และจะนำบำเหน็จของเรามาด้วย เพื่อตอบแทนการกระทำของทุกคน
13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
13เราคืออัลฟาและโอเมกา เป็นปฐมและเป็นอวสาน เป็นเบื้องต้นและเบื้องปลาย"
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
14คนทั้งหลายที่ประพฤติตามพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ก็เป็นสุข เพื่อว่าเขาจะได้มีสิทธิ์ในต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต และเพื่อเขาจะได้เข้าไปในเมืองนั้นโดยทางประตู
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
15ด้วยว่าภายนอกนั้นมีสุนัข คนใช้เวทมนตร์ คนล่วงประเวณี คนฆ่ามนุษย์ คนไหว้รูปเคารพ ทุกคนที่รักและกระทำการมุสา
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
16"เราคือเยซูผู้ใช้ให้ทูตสวรรค์ของเราไปเป็นพยานสำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ท่านเพื่อคริสตจักรทั้งหลาย เราเป็นรากและเป็นเชื้อสายของดาวิด และเป็นดาวประจำรุ่งอันสุกใส"
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
17พระวิญญาณและเจ้าสาวตรัสว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่ได้ยินกล่าวว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่กระหายเข้ามา ผู้ใดมีใจปรารถนา ก็ให้ผู้นั้นมารับน้ำแห่งชีวิตโดยไม่ต้องเสียอะไรเลย
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
18ข้าพเจ้าเตือนทุกคนที่ได้ยินคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ว่า ถ้าผู้ใดจะเพิ่มเติมคำเข้าไปในหนังสือนี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเพิ่มภัยพิบัติที่เขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้แก่ผู้นั้น
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
19และถ้าผู้ใดตัดข้อความออกจากหนังสือพยากรณ์นี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเอาส่วนแบ่งของผู้นั้นที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือแห่งชีวิต และที่มีอยู่ในเมืองบริสุทธิ์นั้น และจากสิ่งที่มีเขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้ไปเสีย
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
20พระองค์ผู้ทรงเป็นพยานในเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงนี้ ตรัสว่า "แน่นอน เราจะมาโดยเร็ว" เอเมน พระเยซูเจ้า ขอให้เป็นเช่นนั้น เชิญเสด็จมาเถิด
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
