1Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
1Hi olo' topetuku' Yesus to hi Antiokhia, ria ba hangkuja dua nabi pai' guru to mpokeni Lolita Pue', hanga' -ra: Barnabas; Simeon to ra'atu Nto'eta; Lukius to ngkai ngata Kirene; Menahem to rapokakama dohe Magau' Herodes Antipas; pai' Saulus.
2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
2Hangkani, bula-ra mepue' hi Pue' Ala pai' mopuasa', Inoha' Tomoroli' mpololitai-ra hewa tohe'i: "Barnabas pai' Saulus toe, kupelihi-ra jadi' topobago-ku. Jadi', patani' -ramo, bona hilou-ra mpobabehi bago to kupopokoloi-raka."
3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
3Jadi', ka'oti-ra mopuasa' pai' mosampaya, rajama-ramo Barnabas pai' Saulus, pai' raposampayai. Oti toe, rapope'ongko' mpu'u-ramo hilou mpokeni Kareba Lompe'.
4So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.
4Jadi', apa' Inoha' Tomoroli' mpahawa' -ra mpopalele Kareba Lompe', mako' -ramo hilou hi ngata Seleukia to hi wiwi' tahi'. Ngkai ree, mpohawi' kapal-ramo hilou hi lewuto' Siprus.
5And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
5Karata-ra hi ree hi ngata Salamis, raparata-mi Lolita Alata'ala hi tomi posampayaa to Yahudi. Yohanes Markus mpongawa' -ra hi rala bago-ra toe.
6And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:
8Modao' -ra hobo' hi lewuto' toe, duu' -ra rata hi ngata Pafos. Gubernur toei, tauna to pante. Nakio' -ra Barnabas pai' Saulus tumai mpohirua' -ki, apa' doko' na'epe-hawo Lolita Alata'ala. Aga Elimas topobali'mata toei, mpobaro lolita-ra, apa' doko' nalawa' bona neo' mpai' gubernur mepangala' hi Yesus.
7Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
9Tapi' Saulus-- to rahanga' wo'o Paulus-- nakuasai Inoha' Tomoroli' -i. Mpomonaa-i Elimas, na'uli' -ki:
8But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
10"Ee topebagiu ngkaraka'! Iko bali' hawe'ea to monoa'! Hewa Magau' Anudaa' -hana kehi-nu tetu-e! Napa pai' uma nubahakai oa' mpohala'weo tudui' Pue' to monoa'?
9Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
11Wae lau, hilo pe'! Pue' mpohuku' -ko! Ngkai wae lau wero-ko, uma-poko pehilo ba hangkuja eo kahae-na!" Hinto'u toe, Elimas mporasai ria to mo'eta hewa rangahu mpoleru mata-na, alaa-na mogao' -gao' -i-damo mpopali' tauna mpotete' -i.
10And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
12Kanahilo-na Gubernur napa to jadi' tohe'e, mepangala' -imi hi Pue' Yesus, apa' konce-i mpo'epe tudui' Pue'.
11And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
13Ngkai Pafos, Paulus pai' doo-na mpohawi' kapal hilou hi ngata Perga hi tana' Pamfilia. Hi ngata toe, Yohanes Markus mpalahii-ra pai' nculii' hilou hi Yerusalem.
12Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
14Ngkai Perga, rapokaliliu pomako' -ra rata hi ngata Antiokhia hi tana' Pisidia. Hi Eo Sabat (eo pepuea' -ra to Yahudi), hilou-ramo mohura hi tomi posampayaa to Yahudi.
13Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
15Hi porumpua toe, ria to mpobasa Atura Musa pai' sura nabi-nabi. Oti toe, pangkeni tomi posampayaa toe mpohubui tauna hilou mepekune' hi Paulus pai' Barnabas, ra'uli' -raka: "Ompi', ane ria lolita-ni doko' mpotudui' -kai, hewa toe lau kipalogai-koi mololita."
14But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
16Kamokore-nami Paulus, mohuka' bona molino-ra, pai' na'uli': "Ompi' -ompi' -ku to Israel, pai' koi' wo'o to bela-koi to Israel aga to mepue' -mokoi hi Alata'ala: Epe-ka-kuwo lolita-ku.
15And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
17Alata'ala to tapue' kita' to Israel mpopelihi-mi ntu'a-ta owi, pai' napopomuli-ra alaa-na wori' lia-ramo bula-ra mesowo' hi tana' Mesir. Ngkai ree, napopohiloi-ra kuasa-na to bohe nto'u kanatete' -ra malai ngkai Mesir.
16Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.
18Oti toe, opo' mpulu' mpae kahae-na, napengkatarii mpohilo pesapuaka-ra bula-ra hi tana' to wao'.
17The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
19Pitu magau' hante ntodea-ra hi tana' Kanaan nadagi bona tana' -ra nabagi-bagi-raka to Israel bona hira' -mi pue' -na.
18And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.
20Kajadia' hawe'ea tohe'i we'i, kira-kira opo' atu lima mpulu' mpae kahae-na. "Oti toe, Pue' Ala mpowai' -ra tadulako-tadulako to jadi' pangkeni-ra, duu' rata hi nabi Samuel.
19And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.
21Nto'u toe, merapi' -ra bona Pue' Ala mpowai' -ra magau'. Jadi', Alata'ala mpowai' -ra magau', Saul hanga' -na, ana' -na Kis muli Benyamin. Saul toe-mi to jadi' magau' to Israel opo' mpulu' mpae kahae-na.
20And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
22Aga ka'omea-na Pue' Ala mpopohu-i ngkai huraa-na, pai' -i mpo'ongko' Daud jadi' magau' to Israel. Toi-mi to na'uli' Alata'ala mpotompo'wiwi Daud: `Daud ana' Isai toei, tauna to mpokagoe' nono-ku pai' to mpobabehi konoa-ku.'
21And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
23"Ompi' -ompi', ngkai muli Daud toe-mi, Alata'ala mpo'ongko' -taka kita' to Israel hadua Magau' Tompohore-ta ngkai huku' jeko' -ta, ntuku' pojanci-na owi. Magau' toei, Yesus hanga' -na.
22And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
24Kako'ia-na Yesus mpotepu'u bago-na, Yohanes Topeniu' mpo'uli' -raka hawe'ea to Israel bona medea-ra ngkai jeko' -ra pai' -ra raniu'.
23Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
25Neo' hudu-mi pobago-na Yohanes, na'uli' -raka ntodea: `Ntuku' pomporataa-ni, hema-a aku' toi-e? Bela-kuwo aku' Magau' to nipopea. Rata moto-i mpai' ane oti-pi bago-ku. Bangku' jadi' pahawaa' -na to mpobongka koloro sapatu' -na, uma-a-kuwo natao.'
24When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
26"Ompi' -ompi' -ku muli Abraham, pai' koi' wo'o to bela-koi to Yahudi aga to mepue' -mi hi Alata'ala: Hi kita' toi-mi raparata kareba toe, to mpo'uli' ohea bona tebahaka-ta ngkai huku' jeko' -ta.
25And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
27Ompi' -ta to mo'oha' hi Yerusalem hante pangkeni-ra, uma ra'incai Kayesus-na Magau' Topetolo' toei. Uma ra'incai batua-na lolita nabi to rabasa butu Eo Sabat. Toe pai' rahuku' mate-i-hana Yesus. Ntaa' hante babehia-ra tohe'e, te'ihii' lau-mi to ralowa nabi owi.
26Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
28Nau' uma raratai to toto-na rahuku' mate-ki, aga raperapi' oa' hi Pilatus bona rapatehi-i.
27For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
29Hudu-mi rababehi hawe'ea to te'uki' owi to mpolowa-i, rapopana'u woto-na ngkai kaju parika' -na pai' -i ratana.
28And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
30Aga Alata'ala mpotuwu' -i nculii'.
29And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
31Oti toe, wori' mengi-i-pidi mpopehuwu woto-na hi tauna to mpotuku' -i ngkai Galilea hilou hi Yerusalem. Hira' toe-mi to jadi' sabi' -na hi kita' to Yahudi, Kahi'a-na mpu'u-mi Magau' Topetolo'.
30But God raised him from the dead:
33"Jadi' ompi' -ompi', hewa toe lau, kai' -mi to mparata-kokoi Kareba Lompe' tohe'i. Napa to najanci Alata'ala owi hi ntu'a-ta, napadupa' hi kita' muli-ra tempo toi-e hi kanapotuwu' -na nculii' Yesus ngkai kamatea. Hewa to te'uki' hi rala Rona' Daud karomeha' -na: `Iko-mi Ana' -ku. Eo toe lau kupo'Ana' -moko.'
31And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
34Yesus tohe'e, napotuwu' mpu'u-imi Alata'ala, pai' bate uma-ipi mate nculii' ba jadi' pope hi rala daeo'. Toe-mile batua lolita Buku Tomoroli' to mpo'uli' hewa toi-e: `Napa to kujanci-ki Magau' Daud owi, bate moroli' pai' monoa' kadupa' -na. Napa to kujanci toe, bate kupadupa' hi koi'.'
32And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
35"Toe wo'o-mi batua lolita Daud hi rala posampaya-na, na'uli' hewa toi: `Woto-ku uma nupelele' hi rala daeo' duu' -na pope, apa' Aku' batua-nu to nupelihi.'
33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
36Ompi' -ompi', bela woto-na Daud moto to natoa' lolita toe we'i. Apa' Daud mpobabehi hawe'ea to nahubui-ki Alata'ala, pai' kahudu tuwu' -na hi dunia' toi, mate-imi. Woto-na ratana hi ncori daeo' ntu'a-na pai' bate jadi' pope-mi.
34And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
37Aga Yesus, to napotuwu' nculii' Alata'ala-e, uma-i-hana jadi' pope hi rala daeo'.
35Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
38Jadi', ompi' -ompi', toe pai' kuparata-kokoi kareba toi: hante napa to jadi' hi Yesus toe, jeko' -ni ma'ala ra'ampungi.
36For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
39Uma-ta bisa tebahaka ngkai huku' jeko' -ta hi kampotuku' -ta Atura Musa. Aga hema-hema to mepangala' hi Yesus, tebahaka mpu'u-ra ngkai hawe'ea jeko' -ra, duu' -na jadi' monoa' mpu'u-ramo hi poncilo Alata'ala.
37But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
40"Aga kana tapelompehi, bona neo' mpai' jadi' hi kita' hewa to na'uli' Alata'ala hante wiwi nabi owi. Na'uli':
38Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
41`Pelompehi-e', koi' to meruge'. Konce-koi mpai' mpohilo babehia-ku, ka'omea-na rahuku' mate-koi. Apa' tempo toi kubabehi anu to mobaraka' lia. Hiaa' oja' -ko-koina mpopangala', nau' ria to mponotohi-kokoi.'"
39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
42Kamalai-ra Paulus pai' Barnabas ngkai tomi posampayaa toe, tauna to morumpu hi ree mpo'uli' -raka: "Kiperapi' bona Eo Sabat to rata, tumai wo'o-koi mpai' mpakanoto tena-kakai tudui' toe-e we'i."
40Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
43Oti toe, pagaa' -gaa' -ramo ngkai tomi posampayaa toe. Wori' to Yahudi mpotuku' Paulus pai' Barnabas. Pai' wori' wo'o tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi aga to mesua' -mi hi agama Yahudi, metuku' wo'o-ra-rawo mpotuku' Paulus pai' Barnabas. Suro Pue' Yesus toera mpo'apui nono-ra bona tida-ra mepangala' hi Alata'ala to mpowai' -ta kalompea' ngkai kabula rala-na.
41Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
44Jadi', mingku boko' hi Eo Sabat wo'o-mi, neo' hawe'ea pue' ngata morumpu doko' mpo'epe Lolita Alata'ala.
42And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
45Tapi' karahilo-na to Yahudi kawori' tauna to morumpu, mohingi' -ramo. Toe pai' raruge' -i Paulus pai' rabaro hawe'ea to na'uli'.
43Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
46Tapi' hangkedi' kabia' -ra Paulus pai' Barnabas mololita. Ra'uli' mpo'uli' -raka to Yahudi: "Taoa-na, Lolita Alata'ala kana raparata mperi'ulu hi koi' to Yahudi. Tapi', bo uma-ko-koina dota ntarima, koi' moto-mi-koiwo to mpakanoa' ka'uma-nakoi natao mporata katuwua' to duu' kahae-hae-na. Wae-pi, kipalahii-mokoi, hilou mpokeni Lolita Alata'ala hi tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi!
44And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
47Apa' toi-mi hawa' Pue' Ala hi kai'. Na'uli': `Kupelihi-moko jadi' baja to mpobajahi nono tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi, bona Iko mpoparata kalompea' hi tauna humalili' dunia'.'"
45But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
48Kara'epe-na-rawo tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi lolita toe, goe' -ramo, pai' -ra mpo'une' Lolita Pue'. Pai' hema-hema to napelihi ami' -mi Alata'ala bona mporata katuwua' to lompe' duu' kahae-hae-na, mepangala' -ramo hi Pue' Yesus.
46Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
49Jadi', Lolita Pue' molele hobo' hi tana' toe.
47For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
50Tapi' to Yahudi mpo'ukei' totu'a-totu'a ngata pai' tobine-tobine to mo'ua' to mengkoru hi Alata'ala, alaa-na Paulus pai' Barnabas rabalinai' pai' rapopalai ngkai ngata Antiokhia.
48And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
51Toe pai' Paulus hante Barnabas mpotonta awu to hi witi' -ra, tanda kabela-napi-rawo hira' to mpotangku ane Alata'ala mpohuku' pue' ngata toe. Oti toe hilou-ramo hi ngata Ikonium.
49And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
52Topetuku' Pue' Yesus hi Antiokhia, nakuasai-ramo Inoha' Tomoroli' pai' goe' lia nono-ra.
50But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
51But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
52And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
