1And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
1Na'uli' wo'o-mi Yesus: "Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi: Ngkai olo' -ni koi' toi, ria-koi mpai' to ko'ia mate kako'ia-na nihilo Alata'ala moparenta hante baraka' -na."
2And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
2Ono mengi ngkai ree, Yesus mpobawai tolu ana'guru-na hilou dohe-na hi bulu' to molangko. Ana'guru to tolu toera: Petrus, Yakobus pai' Yohanes. Muntu' Yesus hante ana'guru-na to tolu toera-wadi to hi ria. Bula-ra hi ria, mobali' -mi lence-na.
3And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
3Pohea-na hangaa mengea' meringkila', uma ria haduaa hi rala dunia' tohe'i to ma'ala mo'uja' duu' -na mengea' hewa toe.
4And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
4Rahilo-rawo ana'guru-nae, ria rodua nabi to owi mpololitai Yesus. Nabi toera, Elia pai' Musa.
5And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5Ngkai ree Petrus mpo'uli' -ki Yesus: "Guru, lompe' lia-ta mo'oha' hi rehe'i. Agina kibabehi-damo tolu bamaru': hameha' bagia-nu Pue', hameha' bagia-na Musa, pai' hameha' wo'o bagia-na Elia."
6For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.
6Kakono-na, uma-hawo na'incai Petrus napa to na'uli' toe, apa' nto'u toe bula-ra me'eka' lia.
7And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
7Nto'u toe wo'o, rata-mi limu' mpokamoui-ra, pai' ngkai rala limu' ra'epe topololita to mpo'uli': "Hi'a toi-mi Ana' -ku to kupe'ahi'. Pe'epei lolita-na!"
8And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
8Hampegoli we'i, ranaa-rawo ntololikia-ra, uma-pi ria tau ntani' -na dohe-ra, hadua Yesus-damo.
9And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.
9Pana'u-ra ngkai lolo bulu' toe, Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Neo' ulu nilolita hi hema-hema napa to nihilo we'i, duu' -na Aku' Ana' Manusia' memata ngkai kamatea."
10And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.
10Ratuku' mpu'u-miki hawa' -na toe, uma mpu'u-rawo ralolita kajadia' toe hi hema-hema. Aga hi himpau hira' moto bate ntora rapomepekunei' ba napa patuju-na Yesus mpo'uli' kamemata-na mpai' ngkai kamatea.
11And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11Mepekune' -ramo hi Yesus, ra'uli': "Napa pai' guru agama mpo'uli' nabi Elia ncala' -di to ri'ulu rata, pai' lako' rata-idi Magau' Topetolo' -e?"
12And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
12Na'uli' -raka: "Makono mpu'u-di. Elia kana rata mperi'ulu, apa' hi'a to mporodo hawe'ea-na. Aga beiwa-ama Aku' Ana' Manusia'? Napa pai' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' te'uki' kamporata-ku wori' kaparia pai' -a raruge' tauna?
13But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.
13Aga ane nabi Elia, ku'uli' -kokoi, mpolia' rata-imile Elia-e, aga pangkeni ngata-ta mpo'ewa-i ntuku' konoa-ra, hewa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli'."
14And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.
14Oti toe, Yesus pai' ana'guru-na to tolu toera, mana'u-ramo ngkai lolo bulu' mpohirua' -raka ana'guru to ntani' -na. Rata hi ria, rahilo-rawo wori' tauna mpotipuhi ana'guru-na, pai' ba hangkuja dua guru agama bula-ra mpomehono' -raka.
15And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.
15Pehilo-ra tauna to wori' toera etu-mi tumai Yesus. Wae kampohilo-ra, konce-ramo. Pokeno-rami hilou mpohirua' -ki.
16And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?
16Yesus mpekune' -ra: "Napa to nipomepekunei' hante guru agama toera?"
17And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
17Hadua ngkai tauna to wori' toera mpo'uli': "Guru, oi-kuwo ana' -ku, kukeni bona nupaka'uri' -i. Uma-i howa' mololita apa' napesuai' anudaa' -i.
18And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
19He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
19Na'uli' Yesus: "Uma mowo-koie'. Ko'ia oa' -tano mepangala' -koie! Ni'uli' -koina hangkuja tena-pi kahae-ku dohe-ni, hangkuja tena-pi kahae-na kupengkatarii kalente pepangala' -nie! Keni tumai ana' tetui!"
20And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
20Rakeni mpu'u-mi ana' toei hi Yesus. Wae pehilo-na anudaa' toei mpohilo Yesus, napakako'o wo'o-mi woto ana' toei duu' -na modungka-i pai' -i ngkawulela' hi tana', nganga-na mowura'.
21And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
21Mepekune' -i Yesus hi tuama-na ana' toei, na'uli': "Hangkuja-mi hae-na narata haki' toi-e?" Na'uli' tuama-na: "Ngkai kakedia' -nami-hana.
22And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
22Wori' ngkani-mi anudaa' mpodungka-i hi rala apu ba hi rala ue doko' napatehi. Ane ma'ala Guru, poka'ahi' pai' tulungi-ka-kaiwo!"
23Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
23Na'uli' Yesus: "Napa pai' nu'uli' `ane ma'ala-e?' Hawe'ea ma'ala jadi' hi tauna to mepangala'."
24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
24Hampetompoi' tuama-na ana' toei napesukui: "Mepangala' -ama Pue'! Tulungi-a-kuwo, apa' aku' toi kura' rahi pepangala' -ku."
25When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
25Nahilo Yesus kawoo-woria' tauna to mokeno tumai morumpu. Kanahawai' -nami anudaa' toe, na'uli': "Ee anudaa' to mepakawongo pai' mepakawojo tetu-ko! Petibo' -ko ngkai ana' tetui, pai' neo' -pi nupesuai' nculii'."
26And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
26Pe'au-nami ana' toei, kakapadi-padi woto-na, pai' malai-mi anudaa'. Kamalai-na anudaa', uma-pi molengo ana' toei, hewa tomate-imi, alaa-na wori' to mpo'uli': "Mate-imi!"
27But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
27Aga Yesus mpokamu pale-na mpotulungi-i memata. Memata mpu'u-imi-hawo ana' toei.
28And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
28Oti toe, Yesus pai' ana'guru-na malai ngkai ree mesua' hi rala tomi. Pesua' -ra hi rala tomi, mepekune' -ramo hi Yesus, ra'uli': "Guru, napa pai' uma kipakulei' mpopalai anudaa' toei-e we'i?"
29And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
29Na'uli' -raka: "Anudaa' to hewa tohe'e uma-hana ma'ala rapopalai hante inca napa-napa, muntu' hante mosampaya."
30And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.
30Oti toe, Yesus pai' ana'guru-na malai ngkai ree mpokaliliu pomako' -ra ntara hi tana' Galilea. Patuju-na Yesus bona neo' ra'incai ntodea kahiapa-na,
31For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
31apa' nto'u toe bula-na mpotudui' ana'guru-na. Na'uli' -raka: "Aku' Ana' Manusia', ratonu-a mpai' hi kuasa manusia'. Rapatehi-a mpai', aga tolu eo oti toe, tuwu' nculii' -a."
32But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.
32Aga ana'guru-na uma mpo'incai patuju-na Yesus. Hiaa' uma wo'o-ra daho' mpekune' -i.
33And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?
33Rata-ramo hi ngata Kapernaum. Hi rala tomi-ramo, mepekune' -i Yesus hi ana'guru-na, na'uli': "Napa-die to ntora nilolita hi lengko ohea-e we'i?"
34But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.
34Uma-ra winihi, apa' to rapomehonoi' hi lengko ohea we'i, ba hema-ra to meliu kabohe tuwu' -ra.
35And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
35Jadi', mohura-imi Yesus pai' -i mpokio' ana'guru-na to hampulu' rodua, na'uli' -raka: "Hema to doko' meliu bohe tuwu' -na, kana tuwu' mengkadingki' -i, meliu kadingki' -na ngkai hawe'ea doo-na, pai' kana jadi' pahawaa' hi hawe'ea doo-na."
36And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,
36Oti toe, na'ala' hadua ana' to kedi', napopokore hi laintongo' -ra. Nakupui ana' toei pai' na'uli' -raka ana'guru-na:
37Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.
37"Hema to mpotarima hadua ana' to kedi' hewa ana' toii sabana petuku' -na hi Aku', batua-na Aku' -mi to natarima. Pai' hema to mpotarima-a, uma muntu' Aku' to natarima, mpotarima wo'o-i Alata'ala to mposuro-a."
38And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
38Na'uli' Yohanes mpo'uli' -ki: "Guru, ria kihilo hadua tauna mpopalai seta hante hanga' -nu, aga kitagi-i apa' bela-i topetuku' -ta."
39But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
39Na'uli' Yesus: "Neo' -i ratagi, apa' tauna to mpobabehi anu mobaraka' hante hanga' -ku, uma-ra mpai' kaliliu mporuge' -a.
40For he that is not against us is on our part.
40Tauna to uma mpo'ewa-ta, batua-na hira' -mi to tono' hi kita'.
41For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
41"Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi: ane ria to mpotulungi-koi apa' topetuku' Kristus-koi, bate mporata-i hiwili-na hi eo mpeno. Nau' ue mara-wadi nawai' -koi ni'inu sabana petuku' -ni hi Aku', bate mporata-i mpai' hiwili-na.
42And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
42"Aga hema to mpopanawu' hadua ana' to kedi' hewa ana' toii alaa-na uma-ipi mepangala' hi Aku', bohe mpu'u mpai' pehuku' -na Alata'ala hi tauna tetui. Agina lau-pi hameha' watu po'ahaa' to bohe ratoe hi wuroko' -na pai' -i ratene' hi rala tahi'.
43And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
43"Ane rapa' -na pale-ta hamali mpakeni-ta mojeko', pua' lau-imi. Agina hamali-damo pale-ta, asala mporata-ta katuwua' to lompe' dohe Alata'ala. Agina lau-pi toe, ngkai palea ntimalia-ta, hiaa' ka'omea-na mesua' naraka-tamo hi rala apu to jela' ncuu. ((
44Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
44Apa' hi ria mpai', tauna nakoni' ule ncuu pai' rasesa' hi rala apu.))
45And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
45Ane rapa' -na witi' -ta hamali mpakeni-ta mojeko', pua' lau-imi. Agina hamali-damo witi' -ta, asala mporata-ta katuwua' to lompe' dohe Alata'ala. Agina lau-pi toe, ngkai witia' ntimalia-ta, hiaa' ka'omea-na ratadi-ta hi rala naraka. ((
46Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
46Hi ria mpai', tauna nakoni' ule ncuu pai' rasesa' hi rala apu.))
47And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
47Pai' ane rapa' -na mata-ta hamali mpakeni-ta mojeko', jungki' lau-mi. Agina hamali-wadi mata-ta pai' -ta jadi' ntodea Alata'ala hi rala Kamagaua' -na. Agina lau-pi toe, ngkai mataa ntimalia-ta, hiaa' ka'omea-na ratadi-ta hi rala apu naraka.
48Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
48Hi ria mpai', tauna nakoni' ule ncuu pai' rasesa' hi rala apu.
49For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
49Ntuku' Atura Musa, hawe'ea pongkoni' to rapopepue' hi Alata'ala kana rapoii'. Wae wo'o butu dua tauna kana rapomoroli' hante apu.
50Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
50"Poi' wori' kalaua-na. Aga ane mobali' -mi kapoi' -na alaa-na mononto, napa tena to ma'ala mpakapoi' -i? Wae wo'o, koi' to mpotuku' -a kana hewa poi': Neo' nipelele' pepangala' -ni jadi' lente. Kana tuwu' hintuwu' -koi."
