Matthew

18

1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
1Hinto'u toe, tumai-ra ana'guru Yesus mpomohui' -i, ra'uli': "Pue', ane jadi' Magau' -poko mpai', hema to meliu kabohe tuwu' -na hi rala Kamagaua' -nu?"
2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
2Yesus mpokio' hadua ana' to kedi', napopokore hi laintongo' -ra,
3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
3pai' na'uli' -raka: "Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi: ane uma nibalii' kehi-ni pai' jadi' hewa ana' to kedi' toii, uma-koi mpai' jadi' ntodea Alata'ala.
4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
4Hema to mpakadingki' nono-na pai' jadi' hewa ana' to kedi' tohe'ii, hi'a-mi to bohe mpu'u tuwu' -na ngkai hawe'ea ntodea Alata'ala.
5And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
5Hema to mpotarima hadua ana' to kedi' hewa ana' toii sabana petuku' -na hi Aku', batua-na Aku' -mi to natarima.
6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
6"Aga hema to mpopanawu' hadua ana' to kedi' alaa-na uma-ipi mepangala' hi Aku', bohe mpu'u pehuku' Alata'ala hi tauna tetui. Agina lau-pi hameha' watu po'ahaa' to bohe ratoe hi wuroko' -na pai' -i ratene' hi rala tahi'.
7Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
7Silaka tauna hi dunia' toi, apa' wori' to mpopanawu' -ra. Bate ria mpu'u-di to mepanawu' -e, aga silaka-ra tauna to mepanawu' toera.
8Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
8"Ane rapa' -na pale-ta hamali ba witi' -ta hamali to mpakeni-ta mojeko', pua' lau-mi pai' petadi. Agina hamali-damo pale-ta ba witi' -ta, asala mporata-ta katuwua' to lompe' dohe Alata'ala. Agina lau-pi toe, ngkai palea ntimalia pai' witia' ntimalia, hiaa' ka'omea-na ratadi-ta hi rala apu to jela' ncuu.
9And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
10Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
10"Jadi', pelompehi mpu'u-koi, neo' -koi uma mposaile' ana' -ana' to kedi' hewa ana' tohe'ii, nau' hadua. Apa' mpu'u-mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi: mala'eka to mpodoo-ra tida ncuu hi nyanyoa Tuama-ku to hi rala suruga. ((
11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
11Apa' patuju-ku Aku' Ana' Manusia' tumai hi dunia', bona mpopali' tauna to molaa ngkai Alata'ala pai' mpohore-ra ngkai huku' jeko' -ra.))
12How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
12"Beiwa pomporata-ni? Ria hadua tauna to ria bima-na ha'atu ma'a-na. Ane moronto hama'a, napa to nababehi? Tantu napalahii bima-na to sio mpulu' sio hi panapa bulu', pai' -i hilou mpopali' to hama'a to moronto toei.
13And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
13Pai' ane narua' nculii' -ipi, mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi meliu-mi kagoe' -na mpokagoe' bima to hama'a toei, ngkai bima-na to sio mpulu' sio to uma-ra-rana moronto.
14Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
14Wae wo'o Tuama-ni hi rala suruga, uma napokonoi ane ria hadua ngkai ana' to kedi' toi to molaa ngkai Hi'a.
15Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
15"Ane ria ompi' hampepangalaa' -ta to masala' hi kita', hilou-ta mpohirua' -ki, pai' uli' -ki sala' -na. Tababehi toe hante uma ria to ngincai, muntu' kita' tau rodua-wadi. Ane napangala' lolita-ta, lompe' nculii' -mi pohintuwu' -ta.
16But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
16Aga ane uma-i dota mpangala' lolita-ta, po'ema' hadua ba rodua dohe-ta hilou mpololitai-i. Apa' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' owi te'uki' hewa toi: `Ane ria tauna to rapakilu mpobabehi sala', kana ria nte rodua ba tolu to jadi' sabi', bona monoa' -mi kara-kara-na.'
17And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
17Ane uma-i dota mpangala' lolita sabi' toera, bua' -imi hi hawe'ea ompi' hampepangalaa'. Ane uma oa' napangalai' nau' hawe'ea ompi' hampepangalaa' mpoparesai' -i, pelele' lau-imi-hana, taponcawa hewa tauna to uma mpo'incai Alata'ala lau-imi, pai' hewa tauna to dada'a kehi-ra.
18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
18"Penonoi-koi! Napa to nibotuhi hi dunia', tetu wo'o to nabotuhi Alata'ala hi rala suruga: Ane koi' mpo'uli' neo', Alata'ala-mi to mpo'uli' neo'. Ane koi' mpo'uli' ma'ala moto, Alata'ala-mi to mpo'uli' ma'ala moto.
19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
19Ku'uli' wo'o: ane ria-koi hi dunia' toi nte rodua to hintuwu' mekakae mperapi' ba napa-napa, posampaya-ni toe natompoi' Tuama-ku to hi rala suruga.
20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
20Apa' hiapa tauna morumpu sabana Aku', nau' rodua ba tolu-ra-wadi, ria-a dohe-ra."
21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
21Oti toe, Petrus mpomohui' Yesus pai' mpekune' -i, na'uli': "Pue', ane ompi' hampepangalaa' -ku masala' hi aku', hangkuja ngkani kana ku'ampungi-i? Nte pitu ngkani?"
22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
22Na'uli' Yesus: "Uma wule' pitu ngkani-wadi. Nau' mo'atu-atu ngkani-nai masala' hi kita', kana ta'ampungi-i.
23Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
23Apa' Alata'ala hewa magau' to hi rala lolita rapa' toi: Ria hadua magau' doko' mpowile inta batua-na.
24And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
24Lomo' -na, ria hadua batua rakeni hi nyanyoa-na to mo'inta hi juta-na.
25But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
25Uma mpu'u-hawo nakulei' mpobayari inta-na toe. Jadi', mohawa' -mi magau' toei, na'uli': `Pobalu' lau-imi batua tetui hante ana' -na pai' tobine-na pai' hawe'ea rewa-na, pobayari-ki inta-na.'
26The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
26"Powingkotu' -nami batua toei hi nyanyoa magau', mpopepoka'ahi', na'uli': `Mosabara-ko Magau', kubayari moto-kuwo mpai' inta-ku!'
27Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
27"Ngkai ree, metumu' lau-mi ahi' -na magau' mpoka'ahi' batua-na toei. Nabahaka-imi pai' na'uli' -ki: `Inta-nu, uma-pi mingki' nubayari.'
28But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
28"Palai-na batua toei, napohirua' -ki hadua hingka batua-na to mo'inta hi hi'a hi ncobu-na-wadi. Napentoe doo-na toei, nabaga' pai' na'uli' -ki: `Bayari omea-mi inta-nu!'
29And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
29"Powingkotu' -nami-hawo doo-na toei mpopepoka'ahi', na'uli': `Mosabara-ko ulu bale, kubayari moto-kuwo mpai' inta-ku!'
30And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
30Aga uma napangalai' pomperapia' -na toe. Napopesua' lau-imi hi rala tarungku' duu' -na tebayari omea inta-na.
31So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
31"Karahilo-na batua to ntani' -na napa to jadi' tohe'e, peda' lia-mi-rawo nono-ra. Hilou-ramo hi magau' mpo'uli' kehi batua toei-e we'i.
32Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
32Mpo'epe toe we'i, kamoroe-nami magau'. Mpohubui-i tauna hilou mpokio' batua to dada'a gau' -na tohe'ei. Karata-na, na'uli' -ki: `Dada'a lia-ko! Inta-nu kupori-mi ngkai rala buku-ku, apa' moranempale-moko hi aku'.
33Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
33Napa-di-kona pai' uma nupoka'ahi' hingka batua-nu, hewa aku' mpoka'ahi' -koe!'
34And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
34Uma-pi mowo roe-na magau'. Batua to dada'a gau' -na toei napopesua' hi rala tarungku' duu' -na tebayari oti inta-na."
35So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
35Napohudu Yesus lolita rapa' toe, na'uli': "Wae wo'o Tuama-ku to hi rala suruga mpobabehi hi koi' -e, ane uma-koi mpo'ampungi doo-ni ngkai nono-ni mpu'u."
