¹Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

¹Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! xin hãy phù hộ tôi, vì tôi nương náu mình nơi Chúa.

²O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

²Tôi đã nói cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va rằng: Ngài là Chúa tôi; Trừ Ngài ra tôi không có phước gì khác.

³But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

³Tôi lấy làm thích mọi đàng Các người thánh trên đất, và những bực cao trọng.

⁴Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

⁴Sự buồn rầu của những kẻ dâng của lễ cho thần khác sẽ thêm nhiều lên: Tôi sẽ không dâng lễ quán bằng huyết của chúng nó, Cũng không xưng tên chúng nó trên môi tôi.

⁵The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

⁵Ðức Giê-hô-va là phần cơ nghiệp và là cái chén của tôi: Ngài gìn giữ phần sản tôi.

⁶The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

⁶Tôi may được phần cơ nghiệp ở trong nơi tốt lành; Phải, tôi có được cơ nghiệp đẹp đẽ.

⁷I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

⁷Tôi sẽ ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðấng khuyên bảo tôi; Ban đêm lòng tôi cũng dạy dỗ tôi.

⁸I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

⁸Tôi hằng để Ðức Giê-hô-va đứng ở trước mặt tôi; Tôi chẳng hề bị rúng động, vì Ngài ở bên hữu tôi.

⁹Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

⁹Bởi cớ ấy lòng tôi vui vẻ, linh hồn tôi nức mừng rỡ; Xác tôi cũng sẽ nghỉ yên ổn;

¹⁰For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

¹⁰Vì Chúa sẽ chẳng bỏ linh hồn tôi trong âm phủ, Cũng không để người thánh Chúa thấy sự hư nát.

¹¹Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

¹¹Chúa sẽ chỉ cho tôi biết con đường sự sống; Trước mặt Chúa có trọn sự khoái lạc, Tại bên hữu Chúa có điều vui sướng vô cùng.
