¹My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

¹Ðức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! Ðức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! sao Ngài lìa bỏ tôi? Nhơn sao Ngài đứng xa, không giúp đỡ tôi, và chẳng nghe lời rên siết tôi?

²O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

²Ðức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! tôi kêu cầu ban ngày, nhưng Chúa chẳng đáp lại; Ban đêm cũng vậy, song tôi nào có được an nghỉ đâu

³But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

³Còn Chúa là thánh, Ngài là Ðấng ngự giữa sự khen ngợi của Y-sơ-ra-ên.

⁴Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

⁴Tổ phụ chúng tôi nhờ cậy nơi Chúa, Họ nhờ cậy Chúa bèn giải cứu cho.

⁵They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

⁵Họ kêu cầu cùng Chúa, và được giải cứu; Họ nhờ cậy nơi Chúa, không bị hổ thẹn.

⁶But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

⁶Nhưng tôi là một con trùng, chớ chẳng phải người đâu, Là điều ô nhục của loài người, và vật khinh dể của dân sự.

⁷All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

⁷Hễ kẻ nào thấy tôi đều nhạo cười tôi. Trề môi, lắc đầu, mà rằng:

⁸He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

⁸Người phú thác mình cho Ðức Giê-hô-va, Ngài khá giải cứu người; Ngài khá giải cứu người, vì Ngài yêu mến người!

⁹But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

⁹Phải, ấy là Chúa rút tôi khỏi lòng mẹ, Khiến tôi tin cậy khi nằm trên vú của mẹ tôi.

¹⁰I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

¹⁰Từ trong tử cung tôi đã được giao cho Chúa; Chúa là Ðức Chúa Trời tôi từ khi tôi lọt lòng mẹ.

¹¹Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

¹¹Xin chớ đứng xa tôi, vì sự gian truân hầu gần, Chẳng có ai tiếp cứu cho.

¹²Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

¹²Có nhiều bò đực bao quanh tôi, Những bò đực hung mạnh của Ba-san vây phủ tôi.

¹³They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

¹³Chúng nó hả miệng ra cùng tôi, Khác nào sư tử hay cắn xé và gầm hét.

¹⁴I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

¹⁴Tôi bị đổ ra như nước, Các xương cốt tôi đều rời rã; Trái tim tôi như sáp, Tan ra trong mình tôi.

¹⁵My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

¹⁵Sức lực tôi khô như miếng gốm, Và lưỡi tôi dính nơi ổ gà; Chúa đã để tôi nằm trong bụi tro sự chết.

¹⁶For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

¹⁶Vì những chó bao quanh tôi, Một lũ hung ác vây phủ tôi; Chúng nó đâm lủng tay và chơn tôi;

¹⁷I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

¹⁷Tôi đếm được các xương tôi. Chúng nó xem và ngó chơn tôi;

¹⁸They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

¹⁸Chúng nó chia nhau áo xống tôi, Bắt thăm về áo dài tôi.

¹⁹But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

¹⁹Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! chớ đứng xa tôi; Hỡi Ðấng cứu tiếp tôi ôi! hãy mau mau đến giúp đỡ tôi.

²⁰Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

²⁰Hãy giải cứu linh hồn tôi khỏi gươm, Và mạng sống tôi khỏi loài chó.

²¹Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

²¹Hãy cứu tôi khỏi họng sư tử, Từ các sừng của trâu rừng, Chúa đã nhậm lời tôi.

²²I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

²²Tôi sẽ rao truyền danh Chúa cho anh em tôi, Và ngợi khen Chúa giữa hội chúng.

²³Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

²³Hỡi các người kính sợ Ðức Giê-hô-va, hãy ngợi khen Ngài; Ớ hết thảy dòng dõi Y-sơ-ra-ên, hãy kính sợ Ngài;

²⁴For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

²⁴Vì Ngài không khinh bỉ, chẳng gớm ghiếc sự hoạn nạn của kẻ khốn khổ, Cũng không giấu mặt Ngài cùng người; Nhưng khi người kêu cầu cùng Ngài, thì bèn nhậm lời.

²⁵My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

²⁵Sự ngợi khen của tôi tại giữa hội lớn do Chúa mà ra; Tôi sẽ trả xong sự hứa nguyện tôi trước mặt những kẻ kính sợ Chúa.

²⁶The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

²⁶Kẻ hiền từ sẽ ăn và được no nê; Những người tìm Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ ngợi khen Ngài; Nguyện lòng các ngươi được sống đời đời.

²⁷All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

²⁷Bốn phương thế gian sẽ nhớ và trở lại cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va; Các họ hàng muôn dân sự thờ lạy trước mặt Ngài.

²⁸For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

²⁸Vì nước thuộc về Ðức Giê-hô-va, Ngài cai trị trên muôn dân.

²⁹All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

²⁹Hết thảy người giàu có thế gian cũng sẽ ăn và thờ lạy; Mọi kẻ trở lại bụi đất, và những kẻ không thế bảo tồn mạng sống mình, Sẽ quì xuống trước mặt Ngài.

³⁰A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

³⁰Một dòng dõi sẽ hầu việc Ngài; Người ta sẽ kể dòng dõi ấy là dòng dõi của Chúa.

³¹They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

³¹Dòng dõi ấy sẽ đến rao truyền sự công bình của Ngài, Thuật cho dân tộc sẽ sanh ra rằng Ðức Giê-hô-va đã làm việc ấy.
