¹O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

¹Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! vì sao Chúa bỏ chúng tôi luôn luôn? Nhơn sao cơn giận Chúa nổi phừng cùng bầy chiên của đồng cỏ Chúa?

²Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

²Xin hãy nhớ lại hội Chúa mà Chúa đã được khi xưa, Và chuộc lại đặng làm phần cơ nghiệp của Chúa; Cũng hãy nhớ luôn núi Si-ôn, là nơi Chúa đã ở.

³Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

³Cầu xin Chúa đưa bước đến các nơi hư nát đời đời: Kẻ thù nghịch đã phá tan hết trong nơi thánh.

⁴Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

⁴Các cừu địch Chúa đã gầm hét giữa hội Chúa; Chúng nó dựng cờ chúng nó để làm dấu hiệu.

⁵A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

⁵Chúng nó giống như kẻ giơ rìu lên Trong đám rừng rậm kia.

⁶But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.

⁶Bây giờ chúng nó dùng rìu và búa Ðập bể hết thảy vật chạm-trổ.

⁷They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.

⁷Chúng nó đã lấy lửa đốt nơi thánh Chúa, Làm cho chỗ danh Chúa ở ra phàm đến đất.

⁸They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

⁸Chúng nó nói trong lòng rằng: Chúng ta hãy hủy phá chung cả hết thảy đi. Chúng nó đã đốt các nhà hội của Ðức Chúa Trời trong xứ.

⁹We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

⁹Chúng tôi chẳng còn thấy các ngọn cờ chúng tôi; Không còn đấng tiên tri nữa, Và giữa chúng tôi cũng chẳng có ai biết đến chừng nào.

¹⁰O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

¹⁰Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! kẻ cừu địch sẽ nói sỉ nhục cho đến chừng nào? Kẻ thù nghịch há sẽ phạm danh Chúa hoài sao?

¹¹Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.

¹¹Sao Chúa rứt tay lại, tức là tay hữu Chúa? Khá rút nó ra khỏi lòng, và tiêu diệt chúng nó đi!

¹²For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

¹²Dầu vậy, Ðức Chúa Trời là Vua tôi từ xưa, Vẫn làm sự cứu rỗi trên khắp trái đất.

¹³Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

¹³Chúa đã dùng quyền năng Chúa mà rẽ biển ra, Bẻ gãy đầu quái vật trong nước.

¹⁴Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

¹⁴Chúa chà nát đầu lê-vi-a-than, Ban nó làm thực vật cho dân ở đồng vắng.

¹⁵Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

¹⁵Chúa khiến suối và khe phun nước, Và làm cho khô các sông lớn.

¹⁶The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

¹⁶Ngày thuộc về Chúa, đêm cũng vậy; Chúa đã sắm sửa mặt trăng và mặt trời.

¹⁷Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

¹⁷Chúa đã đặt các bờ cõi của đất, Và làm nên mùa hè và mùa đông.

¹⁸Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

¹⁸Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy nhớ rằng kẻ thù nghịch đã sỉ nhục, Và một dân ngu dại đã phạm đến danh Ngài.

¹⁹O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

¹⁹Xin chớ phó cho thú dữ linh hồn bò câu đất của Chúa; Cũng đừng quên hoài kẻ khốn cùng của Chúa.

²⁰Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

²⁰Xin Chúa đoái đến sự giao ước; Vì các nơi tối tăm của đất đều đầy dẫy sự hung bạo.

²¹O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

²¹Người kẻ bị hà hiếp chớ trở về hổ thẹn; Nguyện kẻ khốn cùng và người thiếu thốn ngợi khen danh Chúa.

²²Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

²²Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, hãy chổi dậy, binh vực duyên cớ Chúa. Hãy nhớ lại thể nào kẻ ngu dại hằng ngày sỉ nhục Chúa.

²³Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

²³Xin chớ quên tiếng kẻ cừu địch Chúa: Sự ồn ào của kẻ dấy nghịch cùng Chúa thấu lên không ngớt.
