¹And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

¹Ðoạn, thiên sứ nói cùng ta trở lại, đánh thức ta, như một người đương ngủ bị người ta đánh thức.

²And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

²Người nói cùng ta rằng: Ngươi thấy gì? Ta đáp rằng: Tôi nhìn xem, kìa một cái chơn đèn bằng vàng cả, và một cái chậu trên chót nó, nó có bảy ngọn đèn; có bảy cái ống cho mỗi ngọn đèn ở trên chót nó.

³And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

³Ỡ kề bên lại có hai cây ô-li-ve, một cây ở bên hữu cái chậu, và một cái ở bên tả.

⁴So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

⁴Bấy giờ ta cất tiếng nói cùng thiên sứ đương nói với ta như vầy: Hỡi chúa tôi, những điều nầy là gì?

⁵Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

⁵Thiên sứ nói cùng ta đáp rằng: Ngươi không biết những điều nầy là gì sao? Ta nói: Thưa chúa! tôi không biết.

⁶Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

⁶Người đáp lại rằng: Ðây là lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cho Xô-rô-ba-bên rằng: Ấy chẳng phải là bởi quyền thế, cũng chẳng phải là bởi năng lực, bèn là bởi Thần ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân phán vậy.

⁷Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

⁷Hỡi núi lớn, ngươi là ai? Ở trước mặt Xô-rô-ba-bên ngươi sẽ trở nên đồng bằng. Nó sẽ đem đá chót ra; sẽ có tiếng kêu rằng: Xin ban ơn, ban ơn cho nó!

⁸Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

⁸Lại có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng:

⁹The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

⁹Tay Xô-rô-ba-bên đã lập nền nhà nầy, thì tay nó cũng sẽ làm xong; và ngươi sẽ biết rằng Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân đã sai ta đến cùng các ngươi.

¹⁰For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

¹⁰Vì ai là kẻ khinh dể ngày của những điều nhỏ mọn? Bảy con mắt Ðức Giê-hô-va trải đi qua lại khắp đất, sẽ vui mà xem thấy dây chuẩn mực ở trong tay Xô-rô-ba-bên.

¹¹Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

¹¹Ta bèn đáp lại cùng người rằng: Hai nhánh ô-li-ve ở bên hữu và bên tả chơn đèn là gì?

¹²And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

¹²Ta lại cất tiếng nói cùng người lần thứ hai mà rằng: Hai nhánh ô-li-ve ở kề bên hai ống vòi vàng, có dầu vàng chảy ra, là gì?

¹³And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

¹³Người đáp rằng: Ngươi không biết những điều đó là gì sao? Ta nói: Thưa chúa, tôi không biết.

¹⁴Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

¹⁴Người bèn nói rằng: Ấy là hai người chịu xức dầu, đứng bên Chúa của cả đất.
