1I do fully testify, then, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge living and dead at his manifestation and his reign --
1 Yng ngu373?ydd Duw a Christ Iesu, yr hwn sydd i farnu'r byw a'r meirw, yr wyf yn dy rybuddio ar gyfrif ei ymddangosiad a'i deyrnas ef:
2preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season, convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,
2 pregetha'r gair; bydd yn barod bob amser, boed yn gyfleus neu'n anghyfleus; argyhoedda; cerydda; calonoga; a hyn ag amynedd diball wrth hyfforddi.
3for there shall be a season when the sound teaching they will not suffer, but according to their own desires to themselves they shall heap up teachers -- itching in the hearing,
3 Oherwydd fe ddaw amser pan na fydd pobl yn goddef athrawiaeth iach ond yn dilyn eu chwantau eu hunain, ac yn crynhoi o'u cwmpas liaws o athrawon i oglais eu clustiau,
4and indeed, from the truth the hearing they shall turn away, and to the fables they shall be turned aside.
4 gan droi oddi wrth y gwirionedd i wrando ar chwedlau.
5And thou -- watch in all things; suffer evil; do the work of one proclaiming good news; of thy ministration make full assurance,
5 Ond yn hyn oll cadw di ddisgyblaeth arnat dy hun: goddef galedi; gwna waith efengylwr; cyflawna holl ofynion dy weinidogaeth.
6for I am already being poured out, and the time of my release hath arrived;
6 Oherwydd y mae fy mywyd i eisoes yn cael ei dywallt mewn aberth, ac y mae amser fy ymadawiad wedi dod.
7the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept,
7 Yr wyf wedi ymdrechu'r ymdrech lew, yr wyf wedi rhedeg yr yrfa i'r pen, yr wyf wedi cadw'r ffydd.
8henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of the righteousness that the Lord -- the Righteous Judge -- shall give to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those loving his manifestation.
8 Bellach y mae torch cyfiawnder ar gadw i mi; a bydd yr Arglwydd, y Barnwr cyfiawn, yn ei chyflwyno hi imi ar y Dydd hwnnw, ac nid i mi yn unig ond i bawb fydd wedi rhoi eu serch ar ei ymddangosiad ef.
9Be diligent to come unto me quickly,
9 Gwna dy orau i ddod ataf yn fuan,
10for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia,
10 oherwydd rhoddodd Demas ei serch ar y byd hwn, a'm gadael. Aeth ef i Thesalonica, a Crescens i Galatia, a Titus i Dalmatia.
11Lukas only is with me; Markus having taken, bring with thyself, for he is profitable to me for ministration;
11 Luc yn unig sydd gyda mi. Galw am Marc, a thyrd ag ef gyda thi, gan ei fod o gymorth mawr i mi yn fy ngweinidogaeth.
12and Tychicus I sent to Ephesus;
12 Anfonais Tychicus i Effesus.
13the cloak that I left in Troas with Carpus, coming, bring thou and the books -- especially the parchments.
13 Pan fyddi'n dod, tyrd �'r clogyn a adewais ar �l gyda Carpus yn Troas, a'r llyfrau hefyd, yn arbennig y memrynau.
14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil; may the Lord repay to him according to his works,
14 Gwnaeth Alexander, y gof copr, ddrwg mawr imi. Fe d�l yr Arglwydd iddo yn �l ei weithredoedd.
15of whom also do thou beware, for greatly hath he stood against our words;
15 Bydd dithau ar dy wyliadwriaeth rhagddo, oherwydd y mae wedi gwrthwynebu ein cenadwri ni i'r eithaf.
16in my first defence no one stood with me, but all forsook me, (may it not be reckoned to them!)
16 Yn y gwrandawiad cyntaf o'm hamddiffyniad, ni safodd neb gyda mi; aeth pawb a'm gadael; peidied Duw � chyfrif hyn yn eu herbyn.
17and the Lord stood by me, and did strengthen me, that through me the preaching might be fully assured, and all the nations might hear, and I was freed out of the mouth of a lion,
17 Ond safodd yr Arglwydd gyda mi, a rhoddodd nerth imi, er mwyn, trwof fi, i'r pregethu gael ei gyflawni ac i'r holl Genhedloedd gael ei glywed; a chefais fy ngwaredu o enau'r llew.
18and the Lord shall free me from every evil work, and shall save [me] -- to his heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages! Amen.
18 A bydd yr Arglwydd eto'n fy ngwaredu i rhag pob cam, a'm dwyn yn ddiogel i'w deyrnas nefol. Iddo ef y byddo'r gogoniant byth bythoedd! Amen.
19Salute Prisca and Aquilas, and Onesiphorus' household;
19 Rho fy nghyfarchion i Prisca ac Acwila, a theulu Onesifforus.
20Erastus did remain in Corinth, and Trophimus I left in Miletus infirm;
20 Arhosodd Erastus yng Nghorinth, a gadewais Troffimus yn glaf yn Miletus.
21be diligent to come before winter. Salute thee doth Eubulus, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
21 Gwna dy orau i ddod cyn y gaeaf. Y mae Eubwlus a Pwdens a Linus a Clawdia, a'r cyfeillion oll, yn dy gyfarch.
22The Lord Jesus Christ [is] with thy spirit; the grace [is] with you! Amen.
22 Yr Arglwydd fyddo gyda'th ysbryd di! Gras fyddo gyda chwi!
