¹If, then, ye were raised with the Christ, the things above seek ye, where the Christ is, on the right hand of God seated,

¹ Felly, os cyfodwyd chwi gyda Christ, ceisiwch y pethau sydd uchod, lle y mae Crist yn eistedd ar ddeheulaw Duw.

²the things above mind ye, not the things upon the earth,

² Rhowch eich bryd ar y pethau sydd uchod, nid ar y pethau sydd ar y ddaear.

³for ye did die, and your life hath been hid with the Christ in God;

³ Oherwydd buoch farw, ac y mae eich bywyd wedi ei guddio gyda Christ yn Nuw.

⁴when the Christ — our life — may be manifested, then also we with him shall be manifested in glory.

⁴ Pan amlygir Crist, eich bywyd chwi, yna fe gewch chwithau eich amlygu gydag ef mewn gogoniant.

⁵Put to death, then, your members that [are] upon the earth — whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry —

⁵ Rhowch i farwolaeth, felly, y rhannau hynny ohonoch sy'n perthyn i'r ddaear: anfoesoldeb rhywiol, amhurdeb, nwyd, blys, a thrachwant, sydd yn eilunaddoliaeth.

⁶because of which things cometh the anger of God upon the sons of the disobedience,

⁶ O achos y pethau hyn y mae digofaint Duw yn dod ar y rhai anufudd.

⁷in which also ye — ye did walk once, when ye lived in them;

⁷ Dyna oedd eich ffordd chwithau o ymddwyn ar un adeg, pan oeddech yn byw yn eu canol.

⁸but now put off, even ye, the whole — anger, wrath, malice, evil-speaking, filthy talking — out of your mouth.

⁸ Ond yn awr, rhowch heibio'r holl bethau hyn: digofaint, llid, drwgdeimlad, cabledd a bryntni o'ch genau.

⁹Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,

⁹ Peidiwch � dweud celwydd wrth eich gilydd, gan eich bod wedi diosg yr hen natur ddynol, ynghyd �'i gweithredoedd,

¹⁰and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him;

¹⁰ ac wedi gwisgo amdanoch y natur ddynol newydd, sy'n cael ei hadnewyddu mewn gwybodaeth ar ddelw ei Chreawdwr.

¹¹where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman — but the all and in all — Christ.

¹¹ Nid oes yma ragor rhwng Groegiaid ac Iddewon, enwaediad a dienwaediad, barbariad, Scythiad, caeth, rhydd; ond Crist yw pob peth, a Christ sydd ym mhob peth.

¹²Put on, therefore, as choice ones of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,

¹² Am hynny, fel etholedigion Duw, sanctaidd ac annwyl, gwisgwch am-danoch dynerwch calon, caredigrwydd, gostyngeiddrwydd, addfwynder ac amynedd.

¹³forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any one with any one may have a quarrel, as also the Christ did forgive you — so also ye;

¹³ Goddefwch eich gilydd, a maddeuwch i'ch gilydd os bydd gan rywun gu373?yn yn erbyn rhywun arall; fel y maddeuodd yr Arglwydd i chwi, felly gwnewch chwithau.

¹⁴and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,

¹⁴ Tros y rhain i gyd gwisgwch gariad, sy'n rhwymyn perffeithrwydd.

¹⁵and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye were called in one body, and become thankful.

¹⁵ Bydded i dangnefedd Crist lywodraethu yn eich calonnau; i hyn y cawsoch eich galw, yn un corff. A byddwch yn ddiolchgar.

¹⁶Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the Lord;

¹⁶ Bydded i air Crist breswylio ynoch yn ei gyfoeth. Dysgwch a rhybuddiwch eich gilydd gyda phob doethineb. � chalonnau diolchgar canwch i Dduw salmau ac emynau a chaniadau ysbrydol.

¹⁷and all, whatever ye may do in word or in work, [do] all things in the name of the Lord Jesus — giving thanks to the God and Father, through him.

¹⁷ Beth bynnag yr ydych yn ei wneud, ar air neu ar weithred, gwnewch bopeth yn enw yr Arglwydd Iesu, gan roi diolch i Dduw, y Tad, drwyddo ef.

¹⁸The wives! be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the Lord;

¹⁸ Chwi wragedd, byddwch ddar-ostyngedig i'ch gwu375?r; hyn yw eich dyletswydd fel pobl yr Arglwydd.

¹⁹the husbands! love your wives, and be not bitter with them;

¹⁹ Chwi wu375?r, carwch eich gwragedd, a pheidiwch � bod yn llym wrthynt.

²⁰the children! obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord;

²⁰ Chwi blant, ufuddhewch i'ch rhieni ym mhob peth, oherwydd hyn sydd gymeradwy ym mhobl yr Arglwydd.

²¹the fathers! vex not your children, lest they be discouraged.

²¹ Chwi dadau, peidiwch � chythruddo eich plant, rhag iddynt ddigalonni.

²²The servants! obey in all things those who are masters according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;

²² Chwi gaethweision, ufuddhewch ym mhob peth i'ch meistri daearol, nid ag esgus o wasanaeth fel rhai sy'n ceisio plesio dynion, ond mewn unplygrwydd calon yn ofn yr Arglwydd.

²³and all, whatever ye may do — out of soul work — as to the Lord, and not to men,

²³ Beth bynnag yr ydych yn ei wneud, gweithiwch �'ch holl galon, fel i'r Arglwydd, ac nid i neb arall.

²⁴having known that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance — for the Lord Christ ye serve;

²⁴ Gwyddoch mai oddi wrth yr Arglwydd y byddwch yn derbyn yr etifeddiaeth yn wobr. Gwasanaethwch Grist, eich Meistr chwi.

²⁵and he who is doing unrighteously shall receive what he did unrighteously, and there is no acceptance of persons.

²⁵ Oherwydd y sawl sy'n gwneud cam fydd yn derbyn y cam yn �l; nid oes ffafriaeth.
