Joshua

18

1And all the company of the sons of Israel are assembled [at] Shiloh, and they cause the tent of meeting to tabernacle there, and the land hath been subdued before them.
1 Daeth holl gynulliad Israel at ei gilydd i Seilo, a gosod yno babell y cyfarfod. Yr oedd y wlad wedi ei darostwng o'u blaen,
2And there are left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance, seven tribes,
2 ond yr oedd ar l ymysg yr Israeliaid saith llwyth heb ddosrannu eu hetifeddiaeth.
3and Joshua saith unto the sons of Israel, `Till when are ye remiss to go in to possess the land which He hath given to you, Jehovah, God of your fathers?
3 Dywedodd Josua wrth yr Israeliaid, "Am ba hyd yr ydych am esgeuluso mynd i feddiannu'r tir a roddodd ARGLWYDD Dduw eich hynafiaid ichwi?
4Give for you three men for a tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come in unto me,
4 Dewiswch dri dyn o bob llwyth, imi eu hanfon allan i gerdded y wlad a gwneud rhestrau ar gyfer ei hetifeddu, ac yna dod yn l ataf.
5and they have divided it into seven portions — Judah doth stay by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph do stay by their border on the north —
5 Y maent i'w rhannu'n saith rhan; y mae Jwda i gadw ei derfyn yn y de, a thu375? Joseff ei derfyn yn y gogledd.
6and ye describe the land [in] seven portions, and have brought [it] in unto me hither, and I have cast for you a lot here before Jehovah our God;
6 Ac wedi ichwi ddosbarthu'r tir yn saith rhan, dewch 'r rhestrau ataf fi i'r fan hon, er mwyn imi fwrw coelbren drosoch yma gerbron yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw.
7for there is no portion to the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of Jehovah [is] their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses servant of Jehovah gave to them.`
7 Ni fydd rhan i'r Lefiaid yn eich mysg, oherwydd offeiriadaeth yr ARGLWYDD yw eu hetifeddiaeth hwy; a hefyd y mae Gad a Reuben a hanner llwyth Manasse wedi cael eu hetifeddiaeth i'r dwyrain o'r Iorddonen o law Moses gwas yr ARGLWYDD."
8And the men rise and go; and Joshua commandeth those who are going to describe the land, saying, `Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and turn back unto me, and here I cast for you a lot before Jehovah in Shiloh.`
8 Pan oedd y dynion yn cychwyn ar eu taith i restru'r tir, gorchmynnodd Josua iddynt, "Ewch i fyny ac i lawr y wlad, a rhestrwch hi; yna dewch yn l ataf fi, ac fe fwriaf goelbren drosoch gerbron yr ARGLWYDD yma yn Seilo."
9And the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a book, and they come in unto Joshua, unto the camp, [at] Shiloh.
9 Aeth y dynion, a cherdded y wlad a'i rhestru mewn llyfr, yn saith rhan, fesul trefi; yna daethant yn l at Josua yng ngwersyll Seilo.
10And Joshua casteth for them a lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, and there Joshua apportioneth the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.
10 Bwriodd Josua goelbren drostynt gerbron yr ARGLWYDD yn Seilo, a rhannu'r tir i'r Israeliaid, cyfran i bob un.
11And a lot goeth up [for] the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goeth out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.
11 Pan ddisgynnodd coelbren llwyth Benjamin yn l eu tylwythau, cawsant diriogaeth rhwng Jwda a thylwyth Joseff.
12And the border is to them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border hath gone up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;
12 I'r gogledd i'r terfyn o'r Iorddonen i fyny heibio i lechwedd gogleddol Jericho, a thua'r gorllewin, i'r mynydd-dir, nes cyrraedd anialwch Bethafen.
13and the border hath gone over thence to Luz, unto the side of Luz (it [is] Beth-El) southward, and the border hath gone down [to] Atroth-Addar, by the hill that [is] on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;

14 Yr oedd y terfyn yn newid ei gyfeiriad ar yr ochr orllewinol, ac yn troi tua'r de o'r mynydd sy'n wynebu Beth-horon, ac ymlaen nes cyrraedd Ciriathbaal, sef Ciriath-jearim, tref yn perthyn i Jwda. Dyma'r ochr orllewinol.

16and the border hath come down unto the extremity of the hill which [is] on the front of the valley of the son of Hinnom, which [is] in the valley of the Rephaim northward, and hath gone down the valley of Hinnom unto the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down [to] En-Rogel,
16 Yna i'r terfyn i lawr at gwr y mynydd sy'n wynebu dyffryn Ben-hinnom, i'r gogledd o ddyffryn Reffaim; wedi hynny, i lawr dyffryn Hinnom i'r de o lechwedd y Jebusiaid at Enrogel.
17and hath been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out unto Geliloth, which [is] over-against the ascent of Adummim, and gone down [to] the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,
17 Wedi troi tua'r gogledd, i i En-semes ac ymlaen i Geliloth, gyferbyn rhiw Adummim, ac i lawr at faen Bohan fab Reuben,
18and passed over unto the side over-against Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;
18 cyn croesi ochr ogleddol y llechwedd sy'n wynebu'r Araba, a mynd i lawr yno.
19and the border hath passed over unto the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been unto the north bay of the salt sea, unto the south extremity of the Jordan; this [is] the south border;
19 Yna i'r terfyn ar hyd ochr ogleddol llechwedd Bethhogla, nes cyrraedd cilfach ogleddol y Mr Marw ac aber yr Iorddonen. Hwn yw'r terfyn deheuol.
20and the Jordan doth border it at the east quarter; this [is] the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders round about, for their families.
20 Yr Iorddonen yw'r terfyn ar yr ochr ddwyreiniol. Dyma etifeddiaeth Benjamin yn l eu tylwythau, a'i therfynau o amgylch.
21And the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,
