Matthew

7

1`Judge not, that ye may not be judged,
1 "Peidiwch  barnu, rhag ichwi gael eich barnu;
2for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you.
2 oherwydd fel y byddwch chwi'n barnu y cewch chwithau eich barnu, ac 'r mesur a rowch y rhoir i chwithau.
3`And why dost thou behold the mote that [is] in thy brother`s eye, and the beam that [is] in thine own eye dost not consider?
3 Pam yr wyt yn edrych ar y brycheuyn sydd yn llygad dy gyfaill, a thithau heb sylwi ar y trawst sydd yn dy lygad dy hun?
4or, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam [is] in thine own eye?
4 Neu sut y dywedi wrth dy gyfaill, 'Gad imi dynnu allan y brycheuyn o'th lygad di', a dyna drawst yn dy lygad dy hun?
5Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother`s eye.
5 Ragrithiwr, yn gyntaf tyn y trawst allan o'th lygad dy hun, ac yna fe weli yn ddigon eglur i dynnu'r brycheuyn o lygad dy gyfaill.
6`Ye may not give that which is [holy] to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, that they may not trample them among their feet, and having turned — may rend you.
6 Peidiwch rhoi'r hyn sy'n sanctaidd i'r cu373?n, na thaflu eich perlau o flaen y moch, rhag iddynt eu sathru dan eu traed, a throi arnoch a'ch rhwygo.
7`Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;
7 "Gofynnwch, ac fe roddir i chwi; ceisiwch, ac fe gewch; curwch, ac fe agorir i chwi.
8for every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.
8 Oherwydd y mae pawb sy'n gofyn yn derbyn, a'r sawl sy'n ceisio yn cael, ac i'r un sy'n curo agorir y drws.
9`Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf — a stone will he present to him?
9 Pwy ohonoch, os bydd ei blentyn yn gofyn am fara, a rydd iddo garreg?
10and if a fish he may ask — a serpent will he present to him?
10 Neu os bydd yn gofyn am bysgodyn, a rydd iddo sarff?
11if, therefore, ye being evil, have known good gifts to give to your children, how much more shall your Father who [is] in the heavens give good things to those asking him?
11 Am hynny, os ydych chwi, sy'n ddrwg, yn medru rhoi rhoddion da i'ch plant, gymaint mwy y rhydd eich Tad sydd yn y nefoedd bethau da i'r rhai sy'n gofyn ganddo!
12`All things, therefore, whatever ye may will that men may be doing to you, so also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.
12 Pa beth bynnag y dymunwch i eraill ei wneud i chwi, gwnewch chwithau felly iddynt hwy; hyn yw'r Gyfraith a'r proffwydi.
13`Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide [is] the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it;
13 "Ewch i mewn trwy'r porth cyfyng; oherwydd llydan yw'r porth ac eang yw'r ffordd sy'n arwain i ddistryw, a llawer yw'r rhai sy'n mynd ar hyd-ddi.
14how strait [is] the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!
14 Ond cyfyng yw'r porth a chul yw'r ffordd sy'n arwain i fywyd, ac ychydig yw'r rhai sy'n ei chael.
15`But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep`s clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves.
15 "Gochelwch rhag gau-broffwydi, sy'n dod atoch yng ngwisg defaid, ond sydd o'u mewn yn fleiddiaid rheibus.
16From their fruits ye shall know them; do [men] gather from thorns grapes? or from thistles figs?
16 Wrth eu ffrwythau yr adnabyddwch hwy. Ai oddi ar ddrain y mae casglu grawnwin neu oddi ar ysgall ffigys?
17so every good tree doth yield good fruits, but the bad tree doth yield evil fruits.
17 Felly y mae pob coeden dda yn dwyn ffrwyth da, a choeden wael yn dwyn ffrwyth drwg.
18A good tree is not able to yield evil fruits, nor a bad tree to yield good fruits.
18 Ni all coeden dda ddwyn ffrwyth drwg, na choeden wael ffrwyth da.
19Every tree not yielding good fruit is cut down and is cast to fire:
19 Y mae pob coeden nad yw'n dwyn ffrwyth da yn cael ei thorri i lawr a'i bwrw i'r tn.
20therefore from their fruits ye shall know them.
20 Felly, wrth eu ffrwythau yr adnabyddwch hwy.
21`Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
21 "Nid pawb sy'n dweud wrthyf, 'Arglwydd, Arglwydd', fydd yn mynd i mewn i deyrnas nefoedd, ond y sawl sy'n gwneud ewyllys fy Nhad, yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, lord, have we not in thy name prophesied? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name done many mighty things?
22 Bydd llawer yn dweud wrthyf yn y dydd hwnnw, 'Arglwydd, Arglwydd, oni fuom yn proffwydo yn dy enw di, ac yn dy enw di yn bwrw allan gythreuliaid, ac yn dy enw di yn cyflawni gwyrthiau lawer?'
23and then I will acknowledge to them, that — I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.
23 Ac yna dywedaf wrthynt yn eu hwynebau, 'Nid adnabm erioed mohonoch; ewch ymaith oddi wrthyf, chwi ddrwgweithredwyr.'
24`Therefore, every one who doth hear of me these words, and doth do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;
24 "Pob un felly sy'n gwrando ar y geiriau hyn o'r eiddof ac yn eu gwneud, fe'i cyffelybir i un call, a adeiladodd ei du375? ar y graig.
25and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock.
25 Disgynnodd y glaw a daeth y llifogydd, a chwythodd y gwyntoedd a tharo yn erbyn y tu375? hwnnw, ond ni syrthiodd, am ei fod wedi ei sylfaenu ar y graig.
26`And every one who is hearing of me these words, and is not doing them, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand;
26 A phob un sy'n gwrando ar y geiriau hyn o'r eiddof a heb eu gwneud, fe'i cyffelybir i un ffl, a adeiladodd ei du375? ar y tywod.
27and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.`
27 A disgynnodd y glaw a daeth y llifogydd, a chwythodd y gwyntoedd a tharo yn erbyn y tu375? hwnnw, ac fe syrthiodd, a dirfawr oedd ei gwymp."
28And it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,
28 Pan orffennodd Iesu lefaru'r geiriau hyn, synnodd y tyrfaoedd at yr hyn yr oedd yn ei ddysgu;
29for he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
29 oherwydd yr oedd yn eu dysgu fel un ag awdurdod ganddo, ac nid fel eu hysgrifenyddion.
