1And having gone to the boat, he passed over, and came to his own city,
1 Aeth Iesu i mewn i gwch a chroesi'r mr a dod i'w dref ei hun.
2and lo, they were bringing to him a paralytic, laid upon a couch, and Jesus having seen their faith, said to the paralytic, `Be of good courage, child, thy sins have been forgiven thee.`
2 A dyma hwy'n dod dyn wedi ei barlysu ato, yn gorwedd ar wely. Pan welodd Iesu eu ffydd hwy dywedodd wrth y claf, "Cod dy galon, fy mab; maddeuwyd dy bechodau."
3And lo, certain of the scribes said within themselves, `This one doth speak evil.`
3 A dyma rai o'r ysgrifenyddion yn dweud ynddynt eu hunain, "Y mae hwn yn cablu."
4And Jesus, having known their thoughts, said, `Why think ye evil in your hearts?
4 Deallodd Iesu eu meddyliau ac meddai, "Pam yr ydych yn meddwl pethau drwg yn eich calonnau?
5for which is easier? to say, The sins have been forgiven to thee; or to say, Rise, and walk?
5 Oherwydd prun sydd hawsaf, ai dweud, 'Maddeuwyd dy bechodau', ai ynteu dweud, 'Cod a cherdda'?
6`But, that ye may know that the Son of Man hath power upon the earth to forgive sins — (then saith he to the paralytic) — having risen, take up thy couch, and go to thy house.`
6 Ond er mwyn i chwi wybod fod gan Fab y Dyn awdurdod i faddau pechodau ar y ddaear" yna meddai wrth y claf, "Cod, a chymer dy wely a dos adref."
7And he, having risen, went to his house,
7 A chododd ac aeth ymaith i'w gartref.
8and the multitudes having seen, wondered, and glorified God, who did give such power to men.
8 Pan welodd y tyrfaoedd hyn daeth ofn arnynt a rhoesant ogoniant i Dduw, yr hwn a roddodd y fath awdurdod i ddynion.
9And Jesus passing by thence, saw a man sitting at the tax-office, named Matthew, and saith to him, `Be following me,` and he, having risen, did follow him.
9 Wrth fynd heibio oddi yno gwelodd Iesu ddyn a elwid Mathew yn eistedd wrth y dollfa, a dywedodd wrtho, "Canlyn fi." Cododd yntau a chanlynodd ef.
10And it came to pass, he reclining (at meat) in the house, that lo, many tax-gatherers and sinners having come, were lying (at meat) with Jesus and his disciples,
10 Ac yr oedd wrth bryd bwyd yn ei du375?, a dyma lawer o gasglwyr trethi ac o bechaduriaid yn dod a chydfwyta gyda Iesu a'i ddisgyblion.
11and the Pharisees having seen, said to his disciples, `Wherefore with the tax-gatherers and sinners doth your teacher eat?`
11 A phan welodd y Phariseaid, dywedasant wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Pam y mae eich athro yn bwyta gyda chasglwyr trethi a phechaduriaid?"
12And Jesus having heard, said to them, `They who are whole have no need of a physician, but they who are ill;
12 Clywodd Iesu, a dywedodd, "Nid ar y cryfion ond ar y cleifion y mae angen meddyg.
13but having gone, learn ye what is, Kindness I will, and not sacrifice, for I did not come to call righteous men, but sinners, to reformation.`
13 Ond ewch a dysgwch beth yw ystyr hyn, 'Trugaredd a ddymunaf, nid aberth'. Oherwydd i alw pechaduriaid, nid rhai cyfiawn, yr wyf fi wedi dod."
14Then come to him do the disciples of John, saying, `Wherefore do we and the Pharisees fast much, and thy disciples fast not?`
14 Yna daeth disgyblion Ioan ato a dweud, "Pam yr ydym ni a'r Phariseaid yn ymprydio llawer, ond dy ddisgyblion di ddim yn ymprydio?"
15And Jesus said to them, `Can the sons of the bride-chamber mourn, so long as the bridegroom is with them? but days shall come when the bridegroom may be taken from them, and then they shall fast.
15 Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "A all gwesteion priodas alaru cyhyd ag y mae'r priodfab gyda hwy? Ond fe ddaw dyddiau pan ddygir y priodfab oddi wrthynt, ac yna yr ymprydiant.
16`And no one doth put a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment, for its filling up doth take from the garment, and a worse rent is made.
16 Ni fydd neb yn gwno clwt o frethyn heb ei bannu ar hen ddilledyn; oherwydd fe dyn y clwt wrth y dilledyn, ac fe 'r rhwyg yn waeth.
17`Nor do they put new wine into old skins, and if not — the skins burst, and the wine doth run out, and the skins are destroyed, but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.`
17 Ni fydd pobl chwaith yn tywallt gwin newydd i hen grwyn; os gwnnt, fe rwygir y crwyn, fe gollir y gwin a difethir y crwyn. Ond byddant yn tywallt gwin newydd i grwyn newydd, ac fe gedwir y ddau."
18While he is speaking these things to them, lo, a ruler having come, was bowing to him, saying that `My daughter just now died, but, having come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.`
18 Tra oedd ef yn siarad fel hyn hwy, dyma ryw lywodraethwr yn dod ato ac ymgrymu iddo a dweud, "Y mae fy merch newydd farw; ond tyrd a rho dy law arni, ac fe fydd fyw."
19And Jesus having risen, did follow him, also his disciples,
19 A chododd Iesu a dilynodd ef gyda'i ddisgyblion.
20and lo, a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, having come to him behind, did touch the fringe of his garments,
20 A dyma wraig ac arni waedlif ers deuddeng mlynedd yn dod ato o'r tu l ac yn cyffwrdd ag ymyl ei fantell.
21for she said within herself, `If only I may touch his garment, I shall be saved.`
21 Oherwydd yr oedd hi wedi dweud ynddi ei hun, "Dim ond imi gyffwrdd 'i fantell, fe gaf fy iachu."
22And Jesus having turned about, and having seen her, said, `Be of good courage, daughter, thy faith hath saved thee,` and the woman was saved from that hour.
22 A throes Iesu, a gwelodd hi, ac meddai, "Cod dy galon, fy merch; y mae dy ffydd wedi dy iachu di." Ac iachawyd y wraig o'r munud hwnnw.
23And Jesus having come to the house of the ruler, and having seen the minstrels and the multitude making tumult,
23 Pan ddaeth Iesu i du375?'r llywodraethwr, a gweld y pibyddion a'r dyrfa mewn cynnwrf,
24he saith to them, `Withdraw, for the damsel did not die, but doth sleep,` and they were deriding him;
24 dywedodd, "Ewch ymaith, oherwydd nid yw'r eneth wedi marw; cysgu y mae." Dechreusant chwerthin am ei ben.
25but, when the multitude was put forth, having gone in, he took hold of her hand, and the damsel arose,
25 Ac wedi i'r dyrfa gael ei gyrru allan, aeth ef i mewn a gafael yn ei llaw, a chododd yr eneth.
26and the fame of this went forth to all the land.
26 Ac aeth yr hanes am hyn allan i'r holl ardal honno.
27And Jesus passing on thence, two blind men followed him, calling and saying, `Deal kindly with us, Son of David.`
27 Wrth i Iesu fynd oddi yno dilynodd dau ddyn dall ef gan weiddi, "Trugarha wrthym ni, Fab Dafydd."
28And he having come to the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus saith to them, `Believe ye that I am able to do this?` They say to him, `Yes, sir.`
28 Wedi iddo ddod i'r tu375? daeth y deillion ato, a gofynnodd Iesu iddynt, "A ydych yn credu y gallaf wneud hyn?" Dywedasant wrtho, "Ydym, syr."
29Then touched he their eyes, saying, `According to your faith let it be to you,`
29 Yna cyffyrddodd 'u llygaid a dweud, "Yn l eich ffydd boed i chwi."
30and their eyes were opened, and Jesus strictly charged them, saying, `See, let no one know;`
30 Agorwyd eu llygaid, a rhybuddiodd Iesu hwy yn llym, "Gofalwch na chaiff neb wybod."
31but they, having gone forth, did spread his fame in all that land.
31 Ond aethant allan a thaenu'r hanes amdano yn yr holl ardal honno.
32And as they are coming forth, lo, they brought to him a man dumb, a demoniac,
32 Fel yr oeddent yn mynd ymaith, dyma rywrai'n dwyn ato ddyn mud wedi ei feddiannu gan gythraul.
33and the demon having been cast out, the dumb spake, and the multitude did wonder, saying that `It was never so seen in Israel:`
33 Wedi i'r cythraul gael ei fwrw allan, llefarodd y mudan; a rhyfeddodd y tyrfaoedd gan ddweud, "Ni welwyd erioed y fath beth yn Israel."
34but the Pharisees said, `By the ruler of the demons he doth cast out the demons.`
34 Ond dywedodd y Phariseaid, "Trwy bennaeth y cythreuliaid y mae'n bwrw allan gythreuliaid."
35And Jesus was going up and down all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the reign, and healing every sickness and every malady among the people.
35 Yr oedd Iesu'n mynd o amgylch yr holl drefi a'r pentrefi, dan ddysgu yn eu synagogau hwy, a phregethu efengyl y deyrnas, ac iachu pob afiechyd a phob llesgedd.
36And having seen the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, that they were faint and cast aside, as sheep not having a shepherd,
36 A phan welodd ef y tyrfaoedd tosturiodd wrthynt am eu bod yn flinderus a diymadferth fel defaid heb fugail.
37then saith he to his disciples, `The harvest indeed [is] abundant, but the workmen few;
37 Yna meddai wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Y mae'r cynhaeaf yn fawr ond y gweithwyr yn brin;
38beseech ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he may put forth workmen to His harvest.`
38 deisyfwch felly ar Arglwydd y cynhaeaf anfon gweithwyr i'w gynhaeaf."
