1A Psalm, by David. O Jehovah, I have called Thee, haste to me, Give ear [to] my voice when I call to Thee.
1 1 Salm. I Ddafydd.0 O ARGLWYDD, gwaeddaf arnat, brysia ataf; gwrando ar fy llef pan alwaf arnat.
2My prayer is prepared — incense before Thee, The lifting up of my hands — the evening present.
2 Bydded fy ngweddi fel arogldarth o'th flaen, ac estyniad fy nwylo fel offrwm hwyrol.
3Set, O Jehovah, a watch for my mouth, Watch Thou over the door of my lips.
3 O ARGLWYDD, gosod warchod ar fy ngenau, gwylia dros ddrws fy ngwefusau.
4Incline not my heart to an evil thing, To do habitually actions in wickedness, With men working iniquity, Yea, I eat not of their pleasant things.
4 Paid throi fy nghalon at bethau drwg, i fod yn brysur wrth weithredoedd drygionus gyda rhai sy'n wneuthurwyr drygioni; paid gadael imi fwyta o'u danteithion.
5The righteous doth beat me [in] kindness. And doth reprove me, Oil of the head my head disalloweth not, For still my prayer [is] about their vexations.
5 Bydded i'r cyfiawn fy nharo mewn cariad a'm ceryddu, ond na fydded i olew'r drygionus eneinio fy mhen, oherwydd y mae fy ngweddi yn wastad yn erbyn eu drygioni.
6Their judges have been released by the sides of a rock, And they have heard my sayings, For they have been pleasant.
6 Pan fwrir eu barnwyr yn erbyn craig, byddant yn gwybod mor ddymunol oedd fy ngeiriau.
7As one tilling and ripping up in the land, Have our bones been scattered at the command of Saul.
7 Fel darnau o bren neu o graig ar y llawr, bydd eu hesgyrn wedi eu gwasgaru yng ngenau Sheol.
8But to Thee, O Jehovah, my Lord, [are] mine eyes, In Thee I have trusted, Make not bare my soul.
8 Y mae fy llygaid arnat ti, O ARGLWYDD Dduw; ynot ti y llochesaf; paid 'm gadael heb amddiffyn.
9Keep me from the gin they laid for me, Even snares of workers of iniquity.
9 Cadw fi o'r rhwyd a osodwyd imi, ac o fagl y gwneuthurwyr drygioni.
10The wicked fall in their nets together, till I pass over!
10 Bydded i'r drygionus syrthio i'w rhwydau eu hunain, a myfi fy hun yn mynd heibio.
