1Open, O Lebanon, thy doors, And fire doth devour among thy cedars.
1 Agor dy byrth, O Lebanon, er mwyn i dn ysu dy gedrwydd.
2Howl, O fir, for fallen hath the cedar, For their honourable ones were destroyed, Howl, ye oaks of Bashan, For come down hath the fenced forest,
2 Galarwch, ffynidwydd; oherwydd syrthiodd y cedrwydd, dinistriwyd y coed cryfion. Galarwch, dderw Basan, oherwydd syrthiodd y goedwig drwchus.
3A voice of the howling of the shepherds! For destroyed was their robe of honour, A voice of the roaring of young lions! For destroyed was the excellency of Jordan.
3 Clywch alarnadu'r bugeiliaid, am i'w gogoniant gael ei ddinistrio; clywch ru'r llewod, am i goedwig yr Iorddonen gael ei difetha.
4Thus said Jehovah my God: `Feed the flock of the slaughter,
4 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD fy Nuw: "Portha'r praidd sydd i'w lladd.
5Whose buyers slay them, and are not guilty, And their sellers say, Blessed [is] Jehovah, And I am rich, And their shepherds have no pity on them.
5 Bydd y sawl sy'n eu prynu yn eu lladd heb deimlo'n euog; bydd y sawl sy'n eu gwerthu yn dweud, 'Bendigedig fo'r ARGLWYDD, cefais gyfoeth'; ac ni fydd eu bugeiliaid yn tosturio wrthynt.
6For I have pity no more on inhabitants of the land, An affirmation of Jehovah, And lo, I am causing man to come forth, Each into the hand of his neighbour, And into the hand of his king, And they have beaten down the land, And I do not deliver out of their hand.`
6 Yn wir, ni thosturiaf mwy wrth drigolion y wlad," medd yr ARGLWYDD. "Wele fi'n gwneud i bawb syrthio i ddwylo'i gilydd ac i ddwylo'u brenin; ac fel y dinistrir y wlad, ni waredaf neb o'u gafael."
7And I feed the flock of slaughter, even you, ye afflicted of the flock; and I take to me two staves, the one I have called Pleasantness, and the other I have called Bands, and I feed the flock.
7 Porthais y praidd a oedd i'w lladd ar gyfer y marchnatwyr. Cymerais ddwy ffon, a galw'r naill, Trugaredd, a'r llall, Undeb; a phorthais y praidd.
8And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, and my soul is grieved with them, and also their soul hath abhorred me.
8 Mewn un mis diswyddais dri o'r bugeiliaid am imi flino arnynt, ac yr oeddent hwythau'n fy nghasu innau.
9And I say, `I do not feed you, the dying, let die; and the cut off, let be cut off; and the remaining ones, let each eat the flesh of its neighbour.`
9 Yna dywedais, "Ni fugeiliaf chwi; y rhai sydd i farw, bydded iddynt farw, a'r rhai sydd i'w dinistrio, bydded iddynt fynd i ddinistr; a bydded i'r rhai sy'n weddill fwyta cnawd ei gilydd."
10And I take My staff Pleasantness, and cut it asunder, to make void My covenant that I had made with all the peoples:
10 A chymerais fy ffon Trugaredd a'i thorri, gan ddiddymu'r cyfamod a wneuthum 'r holl bobloedd.
11and it is broken in that day, and know well do the afflicted of the flock who are observing me, that it [is] a word of Jehovah.
11 Fe'i diddymwyd y dydd hwnnw, a gwyddai'r marchnatwyr a edrychai arnaf mai gair yr ARGLWYDD oedd hyn.
12And I say unto them: `If good in your eyes, give my hire, and if not, forbear;` and they weigh out my hire — thirty silverlings.
12 A dywedais wrthynt, "Os yw'n dderbyniol gennych, rhowch imi fy nghyflog; os nad yw, peidiwch." A bu iddynt hwythau bwyso fy nghyflog, deg darn ar hugain o arian.
13And Jehovah saith unto me, `Cast it unto the potter;` the goodly price that I have been prized at by them, and I take the thirty silverlings, and cast them [to] the house of Jehovah, unto the potter.
13 Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, "Bwrw ef i'r drysorfa y pris teg a osodwyd arnaf, i'm troi ymaith!" A chymerais y deg darn ar hugain a'u bwrw i'r drysorfa yn nhu375?'r ARGLWYDD.
14And I cut asunder my second staff, Bands, to break the unity between Judah and Israel.
14 Yna torrais yr ail ffon, Undeb, gan ddiddymu'r frawdoliaeth rhwng Jwda ac Israel.
15And Jehovah saith unto me, `Again take to thee the instrument of a foolish shepherd.
15 Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, "Cymer eto offer bugail diwerth,
16For lo, I am raising up a shepherd in the land, The cut off he doth not inspect, The shaken off he doth not seek, And the broken he doth not heal, The standing he doth not sustain, And the flesh of the fat he doth eat, And their hoofs he doth break off.
16 oherwydd yr wyf yn codi yn y wlad fugail na fydd yn gofalu am y ddafad golledig, nac yn ceisio'r grwydredig, nac yn gwella'r friwedig, nac yn porthi'r iach, ond a fydd yn bwyta cnawd y rhai bras ac yn rhwygo'u traed i ffwrdd.
17Wo [to] the worthless shepherd, forsaking the flock, A sword [is] on his arm, and on his right eye, His arm is utterly dried up, And his right eye is very dim!`
17 Gwae'r bugail diwerth, sy'n gadael y praidd. Trawed y cleddyf ei fraich a'i lygad de; bydded ei fraich yn gwbl ddiffrwyth, a'i lygad de yn hollol ddall."
