1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
1וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃
2`On the first day of the month, in the first month, thou dost raise up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
2ביום החדש הראשון באחד לחדש תקים את משכן אהל מועד׃
3and hast set there the ark of the testimony, and hast covered over the ark with the vail,
3ושמת שם את ארון העדות וסכת על הארן את הפרכת׃
4and hast brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and hast brought in the candlestick, and caused its lamps to go up.
4והבאת את השלחן וערכת את ערכו והבאת את המנרה והעלית את נרתיה׃
5`And thou hast put the golden altar for perfume before the ark of the testimony, and hast put the covering of the opening to the tabernacle,
5ונתתה את מזבח הזהב לקטרת לפני ארון העדת ושמת את מסך הפתח למשכן׃
6and hast put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
6ונתתה את מזבח העלה לפני פתח משכן אהל מועד׃
7and hast put the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and hast put water there.
7ונתת את הכיר בין אהל מועד ובין המזבח ונתת שם מים׃
8`And thou hast set the court round about, and hast placed the covering of the gate of the court,
8ושמת את החצר סביב ונתת את מסך שער החצר׃
9and hast taken the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it hath been holy;
9ולקחת את שמן המשחה ומשחת את המשכן ואת כל אשר בו וקדשת אתו ואת כל כליו והיה קדש׃
10and thou hast anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar hath been most holy;
10ומשחת את מזבח העלה ואת כל כליו וקדשת את המזבח והיה המזבח קדש קדשים׃
11and thou hast anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
11ומשחת את הכיר ואת כנו וקדשת אתו׃
12`And thou hast brought near Aaron and his sons unto the opening of the tent of meeting, and hast bathed them with water;
12והקרבת את אהרן ואת בניו אל פתח אהל מועד ורחצת אתם במים׃
13and thou hast clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he hath acted as priest to Me.
13והלבשת את אהרן את בגדי הקדש ומשחת אתו וקדשת אתו וכהן לי׃
14`And his sons thou dost bring near, and hast clothed them with coats,
14ואת בניו תקריב והלבשת אתם כתנת׃
15and anointed them as thou hast anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing hath been to be to them for a priesthood age-during, to their generations.`
15ומשחת אתם כאשר משחת את אביהם וכהנו לי והיתה להית להם משחתם לכהנת עולם לדרתם׃
16And Moses doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him; so he hath done.
16ויעש משה ככל אשר צוה יהוה אתו כן עשה׃
17And it cometh to pass, in the first month, in the second year, in the first of the month, the tabernacle hath been raised up;
17ויהי בחדש הראשון בשנה השנית באחד לחדש הוקם המשכן׃
18and Moses raiseth up the tabernacle, and setteth its sockets, and placeth its boards, and placeth its bars, and raiseth its pillars,
18ויקם משה את המשכן ויתן את אדניו וישם את קרשיו ויתן את בריחיו ויקם את עמודיו׃
19and spreadeth the tent over the tabernacle, and putteth the covering of the tent upon it above, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
19ויפרש את האהל על המשכן וישם את מכסה האהל עליו מלמעלה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
20And he taketh and putteth the testimony unto the ark, and setteth the staves on the ark, and putteth the mercy-seat on the ark above;
20ויקח ויתן את העדת אל הארן וישם את הבדים על הארן ויתן את הכפרת על הארן מלמעלה׃
21and bringeth in the ark unto the tabernacle, and placeth the vail of the covering, and covereth over the ark of the testimony, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
21ויבא את הארן אל המשכן וישם את פרכת המסך ויסך על ארון העדות כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
22And he putteth the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, at the outside of the vail,
22ויתן את השלחן באהל מועד על ירך המשכן צפנה מחוץ לפרכת׃
23and setteth in order upon it the arrangement of bread, before Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
23ויערך עליו ערך לחם לפני יהוה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
24And he putteth the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over-against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward,
24וישם את המנרה באהל מועד נכח השלחן על ירך המשכן נגבה׃
25and causeth the lamps to go up before Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
25ויעל הנרת לפני יהוה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
26And he setteth the golden altar in the tent of meeting, before the vail,
26וישם את מזבח הזהב באהל מועד לפני הפרכת׃
27and maketh perfume on it — spice-perfume — as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
27ויקטר עליו קטרת סמים כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
28And he setteth the covering of the opening to the tabernacle,
28וישם את מסך הפתח למשכן׃
29and the altar of the burnt-offering he hath set at the opening of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and causeth the burnt-offering to go up upon it, and the present, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
29ואת מזבח העלה שם פתח משכן אהל מועד ויעל עליו את העלה ואת המנחה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
30And he putteth the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and putteth water there for washing,
30וישם את הכיר בין אהל מועד ובין המזבח ויתן שמה מים לרחצה׃
31and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
31ורחצו ממנו משה ואהרן ובניו את ידיהם ואת רגליהם׃
32in their going in unto the tent of meeting, and in their drawing near unto the altar, they wash, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
32בבאם אל אהל מועד ובקרבתם אל המזבח ירחצו כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
33And he raiseth up the court round about the tabernacle, and about the altar, and placeth the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completeth the work.
33ויקם את החצר סביב למשכן ולמזבח ויתן את מסך שער החצר ויכל משה את המלאכה׃
34And the cloud covereth the tent of meeting, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the tabernacle;
34ויכס הענן את אהל מועד וכבוד יהוה מלא את המשכן׃
35and Moses hath not been able to go in unto the tent of meeting, for the cloud hath tabernacled on it, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the tabernacle.
35ולא יכל משה לבוא אל אהל מועד כי שכן עליו הענן וכבוד יהוה מלא את המשכן׃
36And in the going up of the cloud from off the tabernacle the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
36ובהעלות הענן מעל המשכן יסעו בני ישראל בכל מסעיהם׃
37and if the cloud go not up then they journey not, until the day of its going up:
37ואם לא יעלה הענן ולא יסעו עד יום העלתו׃
38for the cloud of Jehovah [is] on the tabernacle by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
38כי ענן יהוה על המשכן יומם ואש תהיה לילה בו לעיני כל בית ישראל בכל מסעיהם׃
