1Jehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.
1יהוה מלך תגל הארץ ישמחו איים רבים׃
2Cloud and darkness [are] round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.
2ענן וערפל סביביו צדק ומשפט מכון כסאו׃
3Fire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.
3אש לפניו תלך ותלהט סביב צריו׃
4Lightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.
4האירו ברקיו תבל ראתה ותחל הארץ׃
5Hills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.
5הרים כדונג נמסו מלפני יהוה מלפני אדון כל הארץ׃
6The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.
6הגידו השמים צדקו וראו כל העמים כבודו׃
7Ashamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.
7יבשו כל עבדי פסל המתהללים באלילים השתחוו לו כל אלהים׃
8Zion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.
8שמעה ותשמח ציון ותגלנה בנות יהודה למען משפטיך יהוה׃
9For Thou, Jehovah, [art] Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.
9כי אתה יהוה עליון על כל הארץ מאד נעלית על כל אלהים׃
10Ye who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.
10אהבי יהוה שנאו רע שמר נפשות חסידיו מיד רשעים יצילם׃
11Light [is] sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart — joy.
11אור זרע לצדיק ולישרי לב שמחה׃
12Rejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!
12שמחו צדיקים ביהוה והודו לזכר קדשו׃
