1To the Overseer. — A Psalm by David. Jehovah, Thou hast searched me, and knowest.
1[Fankalazana an'Andriamanitra, Izay mahalala ny zavatra rehetra sady manerana izao rehetra izao] Ho an'ny mpiventy hira. Salamo nataon'i Davida. Jehovah ô, efa nandinika ahy Hianao ka mahalala ahy.
2Thou — Thou hast known my sitting down, And my rising up, Thou hast attended to my thoughts from afar.
2Hianao no mahalala ny fipetrako sy ny fitsangako Sady mahafantatra ny hevitro eny lavitra eny.
3My path and my couch Thou hast fanned, And [with] all my ways hast been acquainted.
3Voadinikao ny toetro, na mandeha aho, na mandry; Ary fantatrao tsara ny alehako rehetra.
4For there is not a word in my tongue, Lo, O Jehovah, Thou hast known it all!
4Fa, indro, tsy misy teny tsy fantatrao eo amin'ny lelako, Jehovah ô.
5Behind and before Thou hast besieged me, And Thou dost place on me Thy hand.
5Manodidina ahy eo ivohoko sy eo anatrehako Hianao, Ary apetrakao amiko ny tananao.
6Knowledge too wonderful for me, It hath been set on high, I am not able for it.
6Fahalalana mahagaga ahy loatra izany, Eny, avo loatra ka tsy tratro.
7Whither do I go from Thy Spirit? And whither from Thy face do I flee?
7Aiza no hialako amin'ny Fanahinao? Aiza no handosirako tsy ho eo anatrehanao?
8If I ascend the heavens — there Thou [art], And spread out a couch in Sheol, lo, Thee!
8Na dia miakatra any an-danitra aza aho dia any Hianao; Ary na dia manao ny fiainan-tsi-hita ho fandriako aza aho, indro, any Hianao.[Heb. Sheola]
9I take the wings of morning, I dwell in the uttermost part of the sea,
9Na dia maka ny elatry ny maraina aza aho, Mba hitoetra any am-paran'ny ranomasina,
10Also there Thy hand doth lead me, And Thy right hand doth hold me.
10Dia mbola entin'ny tananao ihany aho, na dia izany aza, Sy hazonin'ny tananao ankavanana.
11And I say, `Surely darkness bruiseth me, Then night [is] light to me.
11Ary na dia hoy izaho aza: Aoka ny maizina hanarona ahy, Ary aoka ny mazava manodidina ahy ho tonga alina,
12Also darkness hideth not from Thee, And night as day shineth, as [is] darkness so [is] light.
12Tsia, fa ny maizina aza tsy mahamaizina aminao; Fa ny alina dia mahazava toy ny andro ihany, Ka sahala ny mazava sy ny maizina.[Na: Na dia hoy izaho aza: Hanarona ahy tokoa ny maizina, Dia ny alina aza no ho mazava manodidina ahy; Eny, etc]
13For Thou — Thou hast possessed my reins, Thou dost cover me in my mother`s belly.
13Fa Hianao no nahary ny voako; Namolavola ahy tao an-kibon-dreniko Hianao.
14I confess Thee, because that [with] wonders I have been distinguished. Wonderful [are] Thy works, And my soul is knowing [it] well.
14Hidera Anao aho; fa mahatahotra sy mahatalanjona ny nanaovana ahy; Mahagaga ny asanao; Ary fantatry ny fanahiko marimarina izany.
15My substance was not hid from Thee, When I was made in secret, Curiously wrought in the lower part of earth.
15Ny tenako tsy niafina taminao, Fony natao tao amin'ny miafina aho, Ka noforoninao hisy endrika tany ambanin'ny tany.
16Mine unformed substance Thine eyes saw, And on Thy book all of them are written, The days they were formed — And not one among them.
16Ny masonao efa nahita ahy na dia fony tsy mbola ary fady aza aho; Voasoratra teo amin'ny bokinao avokoa ny andro voatendry, Fony tsy mbola nisy na dia iray akory aza.
17And to me how precious have been Thy thoughts, O God, how great hath been their sum!
17Endrey, zava-tsoa amiko indrindra ny hevitrao, Andriamanitra ô! Akory ny hamaron'ny isany!
18I recount them! than the sand they are more, I have waked, and I am still with Thee.
18Raha hanisa azy aho, dia maro isa lavitra noho ny fasika izy; Raha mifoha aho, dia mbola aminao ihany.
19Dost Thou slay, O God, the wicked? Then, men of blood, turn aside from me!
19Haringanao mihitsy ny ratsy fanahy, Andriamanitra ô, Ary mialà amiko, ianareo mpandatsa-drà. [Na: Haringanao mihitsy anie ny ratsy fanahy, Andriamanitra ô]
20Who exchange Thee for wickedness, Lifted up to vanity [are] Thine enemies.
20Dia izay manonona Anao ho enti-mamitaka, Jehovah ô, Eny, ny fahavalonao izay manonona Anao foana.
21Do not I hate, Jehovah, those hating Thee? And with Thy withstanders grieve myself?
21Tsy hankahala izay mankahala Anao va aho, Jehovah ô, Sy ho tezitra amin'izay mitsangana hanohitra Anao? [Heb. ho maloiloy]
22[With] perfect hatred I have hated them, Enemies they have become to me.
22Halako dia halako marina tokoa ireny; Efa fahavaloko ireny.
23Search me, O God, and know my heart, Try me, and know my thoughts,
23Diniho aho, Andriamanitra ô, ary fantaro ny foko; Izahao toetra aho, ary fantaro ny eritreritro;Ary izahao na misy lalana mampahory ato anatiko, Dia tariho amin'ny lalana mandrakizay aho.
24And see if a grievous way be in me, And lead me in a way age-during!
