1O Jehovah, my God [art] Thou, I exalt Thee, I confess Thy name, For Thou hast done a wonderful thing, Counsels of old, stedfastness, O stedfast One.
1യഹോവേ നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നീ അത്ഭുതമായി പണ്ടേയുള്ള ആലോചനകളെ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും സത്യത്തോടും കൂടെ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
2For Thou didst make of a city a heap, Of a fenced city a ruin, A high place of strangers from [being] a city, To the age it is not built.
2നീ നഗരത്തെ കല്ക്കുന്നും ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണത്തെ ശൂന്യവും അന്യന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെ നഗരമല്ലാതവണ്ണവും ആക്കിത്തീര്ത്തു; അതു ഒരു നാളും പണികയില്ല.
3Therefore honour Thee do a strong people, A city of the terrible nations feareth Thee.
3അതുകൊണ്ടു ബലമുള്ള ജാതി നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ഭയങ്കരജാതികളുടെ പട്ടണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടും.
4For Thou hast been a stronghold for the poor, A stronghold for the needy in his distress, A refuge from storm, a shadow from heat, When the spirit of the terrible [is] as a storm — a wall.
4ഭയങ്കരന്മാരുടെ ചീറ്റല് മതിലിന്റെ നേരെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുപോലെ അടിക്കുമ്പോള്, നീ എളിയവന്നു ഒരു ദുര്ഗ്ഗവും ദരിദ്രന്നു അവന്റെ കഷ്ടത്തില് ഒരു കോട്ടയും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റില് ഒരു ശരണവും ഉഷ്ണത്തില് ഒരു തണലും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.
5As heat in a dry place, The noise of strangers Thou humblest, Heat with the shadow of a thick cloud, The singing of the terrible is humbled.
5വരണ്ട നിലത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണത്തെപ്പോലെ നീ അന്യന്മാരുടെ ആരവത്തെ അടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; മേഘത്തിന്റെ തണല്കൊണ്ടു ഉഷ്ണം എന്നപോലെ നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടു ഒതുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.
6And made hath Jehovah of Hosts, For all the peoples in this mount, A banquet of fat things, a banquet of preserved things, Fat things full of marrow, preserved things refined.
6സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഈ പര്വ്വതത്തില് സകലജാതികള്ക്കും മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടും മട്ടൂറിയ വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിക്കും; മേദസ്സുനിറഞ്ഞ മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടും മട്ടു നീക്കി തെളിച്ചെടുത്ത വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഉള്ള വിരുന്നു തന്നേ.
7And swallowed up hath He in this mountain The face of the wrapping that is wrapped over all the peoples, And of the covering that is spread over all the nations.
7സകലവംശങ്ങള്ക്കും ഉള്ള മൂടുപടവും സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേല് കിടക്കുന്ന മറവും അവന് ഈ പര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
8He hath swallowed up death in victory, And wiped hath the Lord Jehovah, The tear from off all faces, And the reproach of His people He turneth aside from off all the earth, For Jehovah hath spoken.
8അവന് മരണത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നീക്കിക്കളയും; യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു കണ്ണുനീര് തുടെക്കയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദ സകലഭൂമിയിലുംനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും. യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
9And [one] hath said in that day, `Lo, this [is] our God, We waited for Him, and He saveth us, This [is] Jehovah, we have waited for Him, We joy and rejoice in His salvation.`
9അന്നാളില്ഇതാ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന് നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവന് തന്നേ യഹോവ; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന്റെ രക്ഷയില് നമുക്കു ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കാം എന്നു അവര് പറയും.
10For rest doth the hand of Jehovah on this mountain, And trodden down is Moab under Him, As trodden down is straw on a dunghill.
10യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഈ പര്വ്വതത്തില് ആവസിക്കുമല്ലോ; എന്നാല് വൈക്കോല് ചാണകകൂഴിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തില് ഇട്ടു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ മോവാബ് സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു തന്നേ മെതിക്കപ്പെടും.
11And he spread out his hands in its midst, As spread out doth the swimmer to swim; And He hath humbled his excellency With the machinations of his hands.
11നീന്തുന്നവന് നീന്തുവാന് കൈ നീട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് കൈ നീട്ടും; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ ഗര്വ്വവും കൈമിടുക്കും അവന് താഴ്ത്തിക്കളയും.
12And the fortress of the high place of thy walls He hath bowed down — He hath made low, He hath caused [it] to come to the earth, — unto dust.
12നിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മതിലുകളെ അവന് താഴെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു പൊടിയാക്കിക്കളയും.
