1Wo, spoiler! and thou not spoiled, And treacherous! and they dealt not treacherously with thee, When thou dost finish, O spoiler, thou art spoiled, When thou dost finish dealing treacherously, They deal treacherously with thee.
1സാഹസം അനുഭവിക്കാതെ സാഹസം ചെയ്കയും നിന്നോടു ആരും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാതെ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നീ സാഹസം ചെയ്യുന്നതു നിര്ത്തുമ്പോള് നിന്നെയും സാഹസം ചെയ്യും; നീ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കുമ്പോള് നിന്നോടും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കും.
2O Jehovah, favour us, for thee we have waited, Be their arm, in the mornings, Yea, our salvation in time of adversity.
2യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; രാവിലെതോറും നീ അവര്ക്കും ഭുജവും കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു രക്ഷയും ആയിരിക്കേണമേ.
3From the voice of a multitude fled have peoples, From thine exaltation scattered have been nations.
3കോലാഹലം ഹേതുവായി വംശങ്ങള് ഔടിപ്പോയി; നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോള് ജാതികള് ചിതറിപ്പോയി.
4And gathered hath been your spoil, A gathering of the caterpillar, As a running to and fro of locusts is he running on it.
4നിങ്ങളുടെ കവര്ച്ച തുള്ളന് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെടും വെട്ടുക്കിളി ചാടി വീഴുന്നതുപോലെ അവര് അതിന്മേല് ചാടിവീഴും.
5Set on high is Jehovah, for He is dwelling on high, He filled Zion [with] judgment and righteousness,
5യഹോവ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉയരത്തിലല്ലോ അവന് വസിക്കുന്നതു; അവന് സീയോനെ ന്യായവും നീതിയുംകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6And hath been the stedfastness of thy times, The strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge, Fear of Jehovah — it [is] His treasure.
6നിന്റെ കാലത്തു സ്ഥിരതയും രക്ഷാസമൃദ്ധിയും ജ്ഞാനവും പരിജ്ഞാനവും ഉണ്ടാകും; യഹോവാഭക്തി അവരുടെ നിക്ഷേപം ആയിരിക്കും.
7Lo, `Their Ariel,` they have cried without, Messengers of peace do weep bitterly.
7ഇതാ അവരുടെ ശൌര്യ്യവാന്മാര് പുറത്തു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാര് അതിദുഃഖത്തോടെ കരയുന്നു.
8Desolated have been highways, Ceased hath he who passeth along the path, He hath broken covenant, He hath despised enemies, He hath not esteemed a man.
8പെരുവഴികള് ശൂന്യമായ്ക്കിടക്കുന്നു; വഴി പോക്കര് ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിച്ചു, പട്ടണങ്ങളെ നിന്ദിച്ചുഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും അവന് ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല.
9Mourned, languished hath the land, Confounded hath been Lebanon, Withered hath been Sharon as a wilderness, And shaking are Bashan and Carmel.
9ദേശം ദുഃഖിച്ചു ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു; ലെബാനോന് ലജ്ജിച്ചു വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു; ശാരോന് മരുഭൂമിപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; ബാശാനും കര്മ്മേലും ഇലപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
10Now, do I arise, saith Jehovah, Now I am exalted, now I am lifted up.
10ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് എഴുന്നേലക്കും; ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് എന്നെത്തന്നേ ഉയര്ത്തും; ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
11Ye conceive chaff, ye bear stubble, Your spirit! — fire devoureth you.
11നിങ്ങള് വൈക്കോലിനെ ഗര്ഭം ധരിച്ചു താളടിയെ പ്രസവിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ശ്വാസം തീയായിനിങ്ങളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
12And peoples have been [as] burnings of lime, Thorns, as sweepings, with fire they burn.
12വംശങ്ങള് കുമ്മായം ചുടുന്നതുപോലെ ആകും; വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞ മുള്ളുപോലെ അവരെ തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയും.
13Hear, ye far off, that which I have done, And know, ye near ones, My might.
13ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരേ, ഞാന് ചെയ്തതു കേള്പ്പിന് ; സമീപസ്ഥന്മാരേ, എന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികള് ഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് .
14Afraid in Zion have been sinners, Seized hath trembling the profane: Who doth dwell for us — consuming fire, Who doth dwell for us — burnings of the age?
14സീയോനിലെ പാപികള് പേടിക്കുന്നു; വഷളന്മാരായവര്ക്കും നടുക്കം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മില് ആര് ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീയുടെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കും? നമ്മില് ആര് നിത്യദഹനങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കും?
15Whoso is walking righteously, And is speaking uprightly, Kicking against gain of oppressions, Shaking his hands from taking hold on a bribe, Stopping his ear from hearing of blood, And shutting his eyes from looking on evil,
15നീതിയായി നടന്നു നേര് പറകയും പീഡനത്താല് ഉള്ള ആദായം വെറുക്കയും കൈക്കൂലിവാങ്ങാതെ കൈ കുടഞ്ഞുകളകയും രക്ത പാതകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു കേള്ക്കാതവണ്ണം ചെവി പൊത്തുകയും ദോഷത്തെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കാതവണ്ണം കണ്ണു അടെച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ;
16He high places doth inhabit, Strongholds of rock [are] his high tower, His bread hath been given, his waters stedfast.
16ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവന് ഉയരത്തില് വസിക്കും; പാറക്കോട്ടകള് അവന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനമായിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ അപ്പം അവന്നു കിട്ടും;
17A king in his beauty, see do thine eyes, They see a land afar off.
17അവന്നു വെള്ളം മുട്ടിപ്പോകയുമില്ല. നിന്റെ കണ്ണു രാജാവിനെ അവന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തോടെ ദര്ശിക്കും; വിശാലമായോരു ദേശം കാണും.
18Thy heart doth meditate terror, Where [is] he who is counting? Where [is] he who is weighing? Where [is] he who is counting the towers?
18പണം എണ്ണുന്നവന് എവിടെ? തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നവന് എവിടെ? ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നവന് എവിടെ? എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഭീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ധ്യാനിക്കും.
19The strong people thou seest not, A people deeper of lip than to be understood, Of a scorned tongue, there is no understanding.
19നീ തിരിച്ചറിയാത്ത പ്രായസമുള്ള വാക്കും നിനക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു കൂടാത്ത അന്യഭാഷയും ഉള്ള ഉഗ്രജാതിയെ നീ കാണുകയില്ല.
20See Zion, the city of our meetings, Thine eyes see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, A tent not taken down, Not removed are its pins for ever, And none of its cords are broken.
20നമ്മുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളുടെ നഗരമായ സീയോനെ നോക്കുക; നിന്റെ കണ്ണു യെരൂശലേമിനെ സ്വൈരനിവാസമായും ഒരിക്കലും നീങ്ങിപ്പോകാത്തതും കുറ്റി ഒരുനാളും ഇളകിപ്പോകാത്തതും കയറു ഒന്നും പൊട്ടിപ്പോകാത്തതുമായ കൂടാരമായും കാണും.
21But there mighty [is] Jehovah for us, A place of rivers — streams broad of sides, No ship with oars doth go into it, And a mighty ship doth not pass over it.
21അവിടെ മഹിമയുള്ളവനായ യഹോവ നമുക്കു വീതിയുള്ള നദികള്ക്കും തോടുകള്ക്കും പകരമായിരിക്കും; തണ്ടുവെച്ച പടകു അതില് നടക്കയില്ല; പ്രതാപമുള്ള കപ്പല് അതില്കൂടി കടന്നുപോകയുമില്ല.
22For Jehovah our judge, Jehovah our lawgiver, Jehovah our king — He doth save us.
22യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായാധിപന് ; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായദാതാവു; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു; അവന് നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
23Left have been thy ropes, They strengthen not rightly their mast, They have not spread out a sail, Then apportioned hath been a prey of much spoil, The lame have taken spoil.
23നിന്റെ കയറു അഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു; അതിനാല് പാമരത്തെ ചുവട്ടില് ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൂടാ; പായ് നിവിര്ത്തുകൂടാ. പിടിച്ചു പറിച്ച വലിയ കൊള്ള അന്നു വിഭാഗിക്കപ്പെടും; മുടന്തരും കൊള്ളയിടും.
24Nor doth an inhabitant say, `I was sick,` The people that is dwelling in it, is forgiven of iniquity!
24എനിക്കു ദീനം എന്നു യാതൊരു നിവാസിയും പറകയില്ല; അതില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ജനത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം മോചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.
