1My soul hath been weary of my life, I leave off my talking to myself, I speak in the bitterness of my soul.
1എന്റെ ജീവന് എനിക്കു വെറുപ്പായ്തോന്നുന്നു; ഞാന് എന്റെ സങ്കടം തുറന്നുപറയും; എന്റെ മനോവ്യസനത്തില് ഞാന് സംസാരിക്കും.
2I say unto God, `Do not condemn me, Let me know why Thou dost strive [with] me.
2ഞാന് ദൈവത്തോടു പറയുംഎന്നെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കരുതേ; എന്നോടു വ്യവഹരിപ്പാന് സംഗതി എന്തു? എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ.
3Is it good for Thee that Thou dost oppress? That Thou despisest the labour of Thy hands, And on the counsel of the wicked hast shone?
3പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ കൈപ്പണിയെ തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നതും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനയില് പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നതും നിനക്കു യോഗ്യമോ?
4Eyes of flesh hast Thou? As man seeth — seest Thou?
4മാംസനേത്രങ്ങളോ നിനക്കുള്ളതു? മനുഷ്യന് കാണുന്നതുപോലെയോ നീ കാണുന്നതു?
5As the days of man [are] Thy days? Thy years as the days of a man?
5നീ എന്റെ അകൃത്യം അന്വേഷിപ്പാനും എന്റെ പാപത്തെ ശോധന ചെയ്വാനും
6That Thou inquirest for mine iniquity, And for my sin seekest?
6നിന്റെ നാളുകള് മനുഷ്യന്റെ നാളുകള് പോലെയോ? നിന്നാണ്ടുകള് മര്ത്യന്റെ ജീവകാലം പോലെയോ?
7For Thou knowest that I am not wicked, And there is no deliverer from Thy hand.
7ഞാന് കുറ്റക്കാരനല്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; നിന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ല.
8Thy hands have taken pains about me, And they make me together round about, And Thou swallowest me up!
8നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നെ ഉരുവാക്കി എന്നെ മുഴുവനും ചമെച്ചു; എന്നിട്ടും നീ എന്നെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
9Remember, I pray Thee, That as clay Thou hast made me, And unto dust Thou dost bring me back.
9നീ എന്നെ കളിമണ്ണുകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ മനഞ്ഞു എന്നോര്ക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്നെ വീണ്ടും പൊടിയാക്കിക്കളയുമോ?
10Dost Thou not as milk pour me out? And as cheese curdle me?
10നീ എന്നെ പാലുപോലെ പകര്ന്നു തൈര്പോലെ ഉറകൂടുമാറാക്കിയല്ലോ.
11Skin and flesh Thou dost put on me, And with bones and sinews dost fence me.
11ത്വക്കും മാംസവും നീ എന്നെ ധരിപ്പിച്ചു; അസ്ഥിയും ഞരമ്പുംകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ മടഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
12Life and kindness Thou hast done with me. And Thy inspection hath preserved my spirit.
12ജീവനും കൃപയും നീ എനിക്കു നല്കി; നിന്റെ കടാക്ഷം എന്റെ ശ്വാസത്തെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു.
13And these Thou hast laid up in Thy heart, I have known that this [is] with Thee.
13എന്നാല് നീ ഇതു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചു; ഇതായിരുന്നു നിന്റെ താല്പര്യം എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.
14If I sinned, then Thou hast observed me, And from mine iniquity dost not acquit me,
14ഞാന് പാപം ചെയ്താല് നീ കണ്ടു വെക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അകൃത്യം നീ ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുന്നതുമില്ല.
15If I have done wickedly — wo to me, And righteously — I lift not up my head, Full of shame — then see my affliction,
15ഞാന് ദുഷ്ടനെങ്കില് എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നീതിമാനായിരുന്നാലും ഞാന് തല ഉയര്ത്തേണ്ടതല്ല; ലജ്ജാപൂര്ണ്ണനായി ഞാന് എന്റെ കഷ്ടത കാണുന്നു.
16And it riseth — as a lion Thou huntest me. And Thou turnest back — Thou shewest Thyself wonderful in me.
16തല ഉയര്ത്തിയാല് നീ ഒരു സിംഹംപോലെ എന്നെ നായാടും. പിന്നെയും എങ്കല് നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതശക്തി കാണിക്കുന്നു.
17Thou renewest Thy witnesses against me, And dost multiply Thine anger with me, Changes and warfare [are] with me.
17നിന്റെ സാക്ഷികളെ നീ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും എന്റെ നേരെ നിര്ത്തുന്നു; നിന്റെ ക്രോധം എന്റെമേല് വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവ ഗണംഗണമായി വന്നു പൊരുതുന്നു.
18And why from the womb Hast Thou brought me forth? I expire, and the eye doth not see me.
18നീ എന്നെ ഗര്ഭപാത്രത്തില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതെന്തിന്നു? ഒരു കണ്ണും എന്നെ കാണാതെ എന്റെ പ്രാണന് പോകുമായിരുന്നു.
19As I had not been, I am, From the belly to the grave I am brought,
19ഞാന് ജനിക്കാത്തതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഗര്ഭപാത്രത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ ശവകൂഴിയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുമായിരുന്നു;
20Are not my days few? Cease then, and put from me, And I brighten up a little,
20എന്റെ ജീവകാലം ചുരുക്കമല്ലയോ? ഇരുളും അന്ധതമസ്സും ഉള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു അര്ദ്ധരാത്രിപോലെ കൂരിരുളും ക്രമമില്ലാതെ അന്ധതമസ്സും
21Before I go, and return not, Unto a land of darkness and death-shade,
21വെളിച്ചം അര്ദ്ധരാത്രിപോലെയും ഉള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു തന്നേ, മടങ്ങിവരാതവണ്ണം പോകുന്നതിന്നുമുമ്പെ
22A land of obscurity as thick darkness, Death-shade — and no order, And the shining [is] as thick darkness.`
22ഞാന് അല്പം ആശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ മതിയാക്കി എന്നെ വിട്ടുമാറേണമേ.
