1And Bildad the Shuhite answereth and saith: —
1അതിന്നു ശൂഹ്യനായ ബില്ദാദ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്
2When do ye set an end to words? Consider ye, and afterwards do we speak.
2നിങ്ങള് എത്രത്തോളം മൊഴികള്ക്കു കുടുക്കുവേക്കും? ബുദ്ധിവെപ്പിന് ; പിന്നെ നമുക്കു സംസാരിക്കാം.
3Wherefore have we been reckoned as cattle? We have been defiled in your eyes!
3ഞങ്ങളെ മൃഗങ്ങളായെണ്ണുന്നതും ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അശുദ്ധരായ്തോന്നുന്നതും എന്തു?
4(He is tearing himself in his anger.) For thy sake is earth forsaken? And removed is a rock from its place?
4കോപത്തില് തന്നെത്താന് കടിച്ചുകീറുന്നവനേ, നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഭൂമി നിര്ജ്ജനമായിത്തീരേണമോ? പാറ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടുമാറേണമോ?
5Also, the light of the wicked is extinguished. And there doth not shine a spark of his fire.
5ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വെളിച്ചം കെട്ടുപോകും; അവന്റെ അഗ്നിജ്വാല പ്രകാശിക്കയില്ല.
6The light hath been dark in his tent, And his lamp over him is extinguished.
6അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തില് വെളിച്ചം ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും; അവന്റെ ദീപം കെട്ടുപോകും.
7Straitened are the steps of his strength, And cast him down doth his own counsel.
7അവന് ചുറുക്കോടെ കാലടി വെക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം ഇടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും; അവന്റെ സ്വന്ത ആലോചന അവനെ തള്ളിയിടും.
8For he is sent into a net by his own feet, And on a snare he doth walk habitually.
8അവന്റെ കാല് വലയില് കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും; അവന് കണിയിന് മീതെ നടക്കും.
9Seize on the heel doth a gin, Prevail over him do the designing.
9പാശം അവന്റെ കുതികാലിന്നു പിടിക്കും; അവന് കുടുക്കില് അകപ്പെടും.
10Hidden in the earth is his cord, And his trap on the path.
10അവന്നു നിലത്തു കുരുകൂ മറെച്ചുവേക്കും; അവനെ പിടിപ്പാന് പാതയില് വല ഒളിച്ചു വേക്കും.
11Round about terrified him have terrors, And they have scattered him — at his feet.
11ചുറ്റിലും ഘോരത്വങ്ങള് അവനെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കും; അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ തുടര്ന്നു അവനെ വേട്ടയാടും.
12Hungry is his sorrow, And calamity is ready at his side.
12അവന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥം വിശന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; വിപത്തു അവന്റെ അരികെ ഒരുങ്ങി നിലക്കുന്നു.
13It consumeth the parts of his skin, Consume his parts doth death`s first-born.
13അതു അവന്റെ ദേഹാംഗങ്ങളെ തിന്നുകളയും; മരണത്തിന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂല് അവന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെ തിന്നുകളയും.
14Drawn from his tent is his confidence, And it causeth him to step to the king of terrors.
14അവന് ആശ്രയിച്ച കൂടാരത്തില്നിന്നു അവന് വേര് പറിഞ്ഞുപോകും; ഘോരരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോകും.
15It dwelleth in his tent — out of his provender, Scattered over his habitation is sulphur.
15അവന്നു ഒന്നുമാകാത്തവര് അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തില് വസിക്കും; അവന്റെ നിവാസത്തിന്മേല് ഗന്ധകം പെയ്യും.
16From beneath his roots are dried up, And from above cut off is his crop.
16കീഴെ അവന്റെ വേര് ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകും; മേലെ അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു വാടിപ്പോകും.
17His memorial hath perished from the land, And he hath no name on the street.
17അവന്റെ ഔര്മ്മ ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോകും; തെരുവീഥിയില് അവന്റെ പേര് ഇല്ലാതാകും.
18They thrust him from light unto darkness, And from the habitable earth cast him out.
18അവനെ വെളിച്ചത്തുനിന്നു ഇരുട്ടിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിടും; ഭൂതലത്തില്നിന്നു അവനെ ഔടിച്ചുകളയും.
19He hath no continuator, Nor successor among his people, And none is remaining in his dwellings.
19സ്വജനത്തില് അവന്നു പുത്രനോ പൌത്രനോ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ പാര്പ്പിടം അന്യന്നുപോകും.
20At this day westerns have been astonished And easterns have taken fright.
20പശ്ചിമവാസികള് അവന്റെ ദിവസം കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിക്കും; പൂര്വ്വദിഗ്വാസികള്ക്കു നടുക്കംപിടിക്കും.
21Only these [are] tabernacles of the perverse, And this the place God hath not known.
21നീതികെട്ടവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം ഇങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു. ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്തവന്റെ ഇടം ഇവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ.
