1To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, be not silent,
1സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.
2For the mouth of wickedness, and the mouth of deceit, Against me they have opened, They have spoken with me — A tongue of falsehood, and words of hatred!
2എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയായ ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായിരിക്കരുതേ.
3They have compassed me about, And they fight me without cause.
3ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വായും വഞ്ചകന്റെ വായും എന്റെ നേരെ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭോഷകുള്ള നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവര് എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
4For my love they oppose me, and I — prayer!
4അവര് ദ്വേഷവാക്കുകള്കൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോടു പൊരുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
5And they set against me evil for good, And hatred for my love.
5എന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം അവര് വൈരം കാണിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനോ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
6Appoint Thou over him the wicked, And an adversary standeth at his right hand.
6നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം ദ്വേഷവും അവര് എന്നോടു കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
7In his being judged, he goeth forth wicked, And his prayer is for sin.
7നീ അവന്റെമേല് ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനെ നിയമിക്കേണമേ; എതിരാളി അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്ക്കട്ടെ.
8His days are few, his oversight another taketh,
8അവനെ വിസ്തരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു തെളിയട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന പാപമായി തീരട്ടെ.
9His sons are fatherless, and his wife a widow.
9അവന്റെ നാളുകള് ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനം മറ്റൊരുത്തന് ഏല്ക്കട്ടെ.
10And wander continually do his sons, Yea, they have begged, And have sought out of their dry places.
10അവന്റെ മക്കള് അനാഥരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ വിധവയും ആയി തീരട്ടെ.
11An exactor layeth a snare for all that he hath, And strangers spoil his labour.
11അവന്റെ മക്കള് അലഞ്ഞു തെണ്ടിനടക്കട്ടെ. തങ്ങളുടെ ശൂന്യഭവനങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു ഇരന്നു നടക്കട്ടെ;
12He hath none to extend kindness, Nor is there one showing favour to his orphans.
12കടക്കാരന് അവന്നുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടു പോകട്ടെ; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് അവന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൊള്ളയിടട്ടെ.
13His posterity is for cutting off, In another generation is their name blotted out.
13അവന്നു ദയ കാണിപ്പാന് ആരും ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ; അവന്റെ അനാഥരോടു ആര്ക്കും കൃപ തോന്നരുതേ.
14The iniquity of his fathers Is remembered unto Jehovah, And the sin of his mother is not blotted out.
14അവന്റെ സന്തതി മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; അടുത്ത തലമുറയില് തന്നേ അവരുടെ പേര് മാഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ;
15They are before Jehovah continually, And He cutteth off from earth their memorial.
15അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം യഹോവ ഔര്ക്കുംമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പാപം മാഞ്ഞുപോകയുമരുതേ.
16Because that he hath not remembered to do kindness, And pursueth the poor man and needy, And the smitten of heart — to slay,
16അവ എല്ലായ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ഔര്മ്മ അവന് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
17And he loveth reviling, and it meeteth him, And he hath not delighted in blessing, And it is far from him.
17അവന് ദയ കാണിപ്പാന് മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും മനംതകര്ന്നവനെയും മരണപര്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.
18And he putteth on reviling as his robe, And it cometh in as water into his midst, And as oil into his bones.
18ശാപം അവന്നു പ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവന്നു ഭവിച്ചു; അനുഗ്രഹം അവന്നു അപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവനെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയി.
19It is to him as apparel — he covereth himself, And for a continual girdle he girdeth it on.
19അവന് വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ശാപം ധരിച്ചു; അതു വെള്ളംപോലെ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലും എണ്ണപോലെ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിലും ചെന്നു.
20This [is] the wage of mine accusers from Jehovah, And of those speaking evil against my soul.
20അതു അവന്നു പുതെക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും നിത്യം അരെക്കു കെട്ടുന്ന കച്ചപോലെയും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
21And Thou, O Jehovah Lord, Deal with me for Thy name`s sake, Because Thy kindness [is] good, deliver me.
21ഇതു എന്റെ എതിരാളികള്ക്കും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം പറയുന്നവര്ക്കും യഹോവ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം ആകുന്നു.
22For I [am] poor and needy, And my heart hath been pierced in my midst.
22നീയോ കര്ത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നടുത്തവണ്ണം എന്നോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയ നല്ലതാകകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.
23As a shadow when it is stretched out I have gone, I have been driven away as a locust.
23ഞാന് അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് മുറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
24My knees have been feeble from fasting, And my flesh hath failed of fatness.
24ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല്പോലെ ഞാന് കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ഒരു വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ ചാടിക്കുന്നു.
25And I — I have been a reproach to them, They see me, they shake their head.
25എന്റെ മുഴങ്കാലുകള് ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദേഹം പുഷ്ടിവിട്ടു ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
26Help me, O Jehovah my God, Save me, according to Thy kindness.
26ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു നിന്ദയായ്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കാണുമ്പോള് അവര് തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.
27And they know that this [is] Thy hand, Thou, O Jehovah, Thou hast done it.
27എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
28They revile, and Thou dost bless, They have risen, and are ashamed, And Thy servant doth rejoice.
28യഹോവേ, ഇതു നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നും നീ ഇതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അവര് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
29Mine accusers put on blushing, and are covered, As an upper robe [is] their shame.
29അവര് ശപിക്കട്ടെ; നീയോ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവര് എതിര്ക്കുംമ്പോള് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; അടിയനോ സന്തോഷിക്കും;
30I thank Jehovah greatly with my mouth, And in the midst of many I praise Him,
30എന്റെ എതിരാളികള് നിന്ദ ധരിക്കും; പുതെപ്പു പുതെക്കുംപോലെ അവര് ലജ്ജ പുതെക്കും.
31For He standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save from those judging his soul.
31ഞാന് എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ അത്യന്തം സ്തുതിക്കും; അതേ, ഞാന് പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.
32അവന് എളിയവനെ ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാന് അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിലക്കുന്നു.
