1Praise ye Jah! O the happiness of one fearing Jehovah, In His commands he hath delighted greatly.
1യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് . യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു, അവന്റെ കല്പനകളില് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .
2Mighty in the earth is his seed, The generation of the upright is blessed.
2അവന്റെ സന്തതി ഭൂമിയില് ബലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും; നേരുള്ളവരുടെ തലമുറ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടും.
3Wealth and riches [are] in his house, And his righteousness is standing for ever.
3ഐശ്വര്യവും സമ്പത്തും അവന്റെ വീട്ടില് ഉണ്ടാകും; അവന്റെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനിലക്കുന്നു.
4Light hath risen in darkness to the upright, Gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
4നേരുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഇരുട്ടില് വെളിച്ചം ഉദിക്കുന്നു; അവന് കൃപയും കരുണയും നീതിയും ഉള്ളവനാകുന്നു.
5Good [is] the man — gracious and lending, He sustaineth his matters in judgment.
5കൃപതോന്നി വായ്പകൊടുക്കുന്നവന് ശുഭമായിരിക്കും; വ്യവഹാരത്തില് അവന് തന്റെ കാര്യം നേടും.
6For — to the age he is not moved; For a memorial age-during is the righteous.
6അവന് ഒരു നാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകയില്ല; നീതിമാന് എന്നേക്കും ഔര്മ്മയില് ഇരിക്കും.
7Of an evil report he is not afraid, Prepared is His heart, confident in Jehovah.
7ദുര്വ്വര്ത്തമാനംനിമിത്തം അവന് ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല; അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിച്ചു ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കും.
8Sustained is his heart — he feareth not, Till that he look on his adversaries.
8അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഭയപ്പെടാതെ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് ശത്രുക്കളില് തന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം നിവര്ത്തിച്ചുകാണും.
9He hath scattered — hath given to the needy, His righteousness is standing for ever, His horn is exalted with honour.
9അവന് വാരി വിതറി ദരിദ്രന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനിലക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ബഹുമാനത്തോടെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കും.
10The wicked seeth, and hath been angry, His teeth he gnasheth, and hath melted, The desire of the wicked doth perish!
10ദുഷ്ടന് അതു കണ്ടു വ്യസനിക്കും; അവന് പല്ലുകടിച്ചു ഉരുകിപ്പോകും; ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ആശ നശിച്ചുപോകും.
