1A Song of the Ascents. In Jehovah`s turning back [to] the captivity of Zion, We have been as dreamers.
1ആരോഹണഗീതം
2Then filled [with] laughter is our mouth, And our tongue [with] singing, Then do they say among nations, `Jehovah did great things with these.`
2യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോള് ഞങ്ങള് സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
3Jehovah did great things with us, We have been joyful.
3അന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായില് ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിന്മേല് ആര്പ്പും നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. യഹോവ അവരില് വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4Turn again, O Jehovah, [to] our captivity, As streams in the south.
4യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളില് വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
5Those sowing in tears, with singing do reap,
5യഹോവേ, തെക്കെനാട്ടിലെ തോടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തേണമേ.
6Whoso goeth on and weepeth, Bearing the basket of seed, Surely cometh in with singing, bearing his sheaves!
6കണ്ണുനീരോടെ വിതെക്കുന്നവര് ആര്പ്പോടെ കൊയ്യും.
7വിത്തു ചുമന്നു കരഞ്ഞും വിതെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നു; കറ്റ ചുമന്നും ആര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.
