1To the Overseer. — By David. A fool hath said in his heart, `God is not;` They have done corruptly, They have done abominable actions, There is not a doer of good.
1ദൈവം ഇല്ല എന്നു മൂഢന് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് പറയുന്നു; അവര് വഷളന്മാരായി മ്ളേച്ഛത പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു; നന്മചെയ്യുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ല.
2Jehovah from the heavens Hath looked on the sons of men, To see if there is a wise one — seeking God.
2ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാനുണ്ടോ എന്നു കാണ്മാന് യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ നോക്കുന്നു.
3The whole have turned aside, Together they have been filthy: There is not a doer of good, not even one.
3എല്ലാവരും വഴിതെറ്റി ഒരുപോലെ കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരായിത്തീര്ന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവനില്ല; ഒരുത്തന് പോലുമില്ല.
4Have all working iniquity not known? Those consuming my people have eaten bread, Jehovah they have not called.
4നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു; യഹോവയോടു അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നില്ല.
5There they have feared a fear, For God [is] in the generation of the righteous.
5അവര് അവിടെ അത്യന്തം ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ തലമുറയില് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.
6The counsel of the poor ye cause to stink, Because Jehovah [is] his refuge.
6നിങ്ങള് ദരിദ്രന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ അവന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.
7`Who doth give from Zion the salvation of Israel? When Jehovah doth turn back [To] a captivity of His people, Jacob doth rejoice — Israel is glad!
7സീയോനില്നിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രക്ഷവന്നെങ്കില്! യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുമ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സന്തോഷിക്കയും യിസ്രായേല് ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
