1A Song, a Psalm, by sons of Korah. Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, In the city of our God — His holy hill.
1നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരത്തില്, അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതത്തില് യഹോവ വലിയവനും അത്യന്തം സ്തുത്യനും ആകുന്നു.
2Beautiful [for] elevation, A joy of all the land, [is] Mount Zion, The sides of the north, the city of a great king.
2മഹാരാജാവിന്റെ നഗരമായി ഉത്തരഗിരിയായ സീയോന് പര്വ്വതം ഉയരംകൊണ്ടു മനോഹരവും സര്വ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും ആനന്ദവുമാകുന്നു.
3God in her high places is known for a tower.
3അതിന്റെ അരമനകളില് ദൈവം ഒരു ദുര്ഗ്ഗമായി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
4For, lo, the kings met, they passed by together,
4ഇതാ, രാജാക്കന്മാര് കൂട്ടം കൂടി; അവര് ഒന്നിച്ചു കടന്നുപോയി.
5They have seen — so they have marvelled, They have been troubled, they were hastened away.
5അവര് അതു കണ്ടു അമ്പരന്നു, അവര് പരിഭ്രമിച്ചു ഔടിപ്പോയി.
6Trembling hath seized them there, Pain, as of a travailing woman.
6അവര്ക്കും അവിടെ വിറയല് പിടിച്ചു; നോവു കിട്ടിയവള്ക്കെന്നപോലെ വേദന പിടിച്ചു.
7By an east wind Thou shiverest ships of Tarshish.
7നീ കിഴക്കന് കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു തര്ശീശ് കപ്പലുകളെ ഉടെച്ചുകളയുന്നു. നാം കേട്ടതുപോലെ തന്നേ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ നഗരത്തില്, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരത്തില് കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവം അതിനെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും സ്ഥിരമാക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.
8As we have heard, so we have seen, In the city of Jehovah of hosts, In the city of our God, God doth establish her — to the age. Selah.

9We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,
9ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഞങ്ങള് നിന്റെ ദയയെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.
10As [is] Thy name, O God, so [is] Thy praise, Over the ends of the earth, Righteousness hath filled Thy right hand.
10ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമംപോലെ തന്നേ നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളോളം എത്തുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യില് നീതി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
11Rejoice doth Mount Zion, The daughters of Judah are joyful, For the sake of Thy judgments.
11നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള്നിമിത്തം സീയോന് പര്വ്വതം സന്തോഷിക്കയും യെഹൂദാപുത്രിമാര് ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
12Compass Zion, and go round her, count her towers,
12സീയോനെ ചുറ്റിനടന്നു പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്വിന് ; അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുവിന് .
13Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,
13വരുവാനുള്ള തലമുറയോടു അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ കൊത്തളങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു അരമനകളെ നടന്നു നോക്കുവിന് .
14That this God [is] our God — To the age and for ever, He — he doth lead us over death!
14ഈ ദൈവം എന്നും എന്നേക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; അവന് നമ്മെ ജീവപര്യന്തം വഴിനടത്തും.
