1To the Overseer with stringed instruments. — An instruction, by David, in the coming in of the Ziphim, and they say to Saul, `Is not David hiding himself with us?` O God, by Thy name save me, and by Thy might judge me.
1ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്താല് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് എനിക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരേണമേ.
2O God, hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth,
2ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.
3For strangers have risen up against me And terrible ones have sought my soul, They have not set God before them. Selah.
3അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഘോരന്മാര് എനിക്കു ജീവഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നു; അവര് ദൈവത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വെച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല.
4Lo, God [is] a helper to me, The Lord [is] with those supporting my soul,
4ഇതാ, ദൈവം എന്റെ സഹായകനാകുന്നു; കര്ത്താവു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ താങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടു.
5Turn back doth the evil thing to mine enemies, In Thy truth cut them off.
5അവന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്ക്കു തിന്മ പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയാല് അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയേണമേ.
6With a free will-offering I sacrifice to Thee, I thank Thy name, O Jehovah, for [it is] good,
6സ്വമേധാദാനത്തോടെ ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഹനനയാഗം കഴിക്കും; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം നല്ലതു എന്നു ചൊല്ലി ഞാന് അതിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.
7For, from all adversity He delivered me, And on mine enemies hath mine eye looked!
7അവന് എന്നെ സകലകഷ്ടത്തില്നിന്നും വിടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കും. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം.
